Two good arguments I´ve heard for that:
1 - There is a cliff right behind those doors. Spino being quite smart, he knew that if it went nuts on the door, he might have fallen over the cliff with the necessary speed to break those doors.
2 - Spino might be a bit dizzy and knocked out after taking down the fence.
Just logical arguments I´ve seen about this issue.

None of the movies in the Jurassic Franchise is completely logical. All the movies were flawed with the JW series having the most ridiculous ones.

Look, he had time to run into the barrier+ the doors were lower so spino couldnt exactly run on them. The fence also was old and rusty unlike the doors
Spino probably injured himself after crashing through the gate. She probably didn’t want to do it again to get through the metal building

jurassic park 1 and 3 are my favorites i feel that 3 had the same sort of feel as the original.

@@asherloat8570 i know right alot of people like the second movie the 2nd movie had some neat scenes but found it kinda dragged a bit .but man watching part 3 i was still talking about the movie for a week after lol
@@jasonsaunders3611 The third one looks kinda rushed and unpolished, and not dark enough - there is no blood and no memorable deaths. Its just a little too kid-friendly, to put thing short. However, it does feel closer to the original indeed (probably thanks to return of Dr. Grant. Damn, I missed him in the second movie).
Besides, as much as we all probably hate the Mother in JP3, there were much-much more annoying characters in TLW. Hell, almost everyone there (except Roland, Eddie and maybe Malcom himself) were ultimate morons or assholes of all sorts - makes the movie almost painful too watch.

It must've aimed for that weak spot Alan and Eric slipped through. If there was a hole in it, who knows how stable the fence actually was at that point.
@@joshuabassett7069 Agreed. They were on the island in 2001, and that fence had gone unmaintained since 1992-1993. Up to 9 years of degradation plus no electricity? It was probably much weaker than when it was first installed...no match for a dinosaur of Spino's strength.

Rusty tall fence that it could run at full tilt at vs smaller door at ground level that it could at best crouch down to bump with its snout at close range, plus it hurt itself on the fence so isn't as keen anymore.

Did the Spinosaurus find Dr. Grant and Eric and followed them just to find the others? Has the Spinosaurus been looking around the fence just before the humans regroup? Or did the Spinosaurus saw the gap in the fence and assumed that they were close by? If so, he must have decided to be hidden and wait and see.

Breaks through the fence but then decides to knock on the door. No wonder dinosaurs are extinct.

Not just that. My theory is she tasted human blood and liked it. And she wanted more, no wonder she has been stalking them ever since her first encounter with them in the first place

According to books and google, an spinosaurus' speed reaches 15mph while a human reaches barely 8mph.
The velociraptor runs 25mph and in none of the films (even the new ones) no human ever beaten.

This thing just literally broke 6- 6"-8" beams (pause it at 0:53 and look at that thick steel hollow or not) apart from the fence and it can't get into a much less supportive door 10 seconds later? I get that it's more interesting that way, but the staging in JP could try to be a little more convincing!
The scene would have been better if they didnt try to close the door but instead just went so far inside the building that some narrow hallway prevents the Spinosaurus from getting in.
So really, Billy-boy wanted to take dinos off Sorna and sell them off. Unleashing dangerous animals onto rest of the world. Twenty or so years before events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
