Bought a gift package from them with three buckles and three belts. I'm very happy with them, and I now have no problems matching both my metals and my leathers. ^_^
I have the Trapezoid body shape and it's not easy to find any well fitting clothes. Formal shirts just don't exist (too right collar size and short sleeves or too loose collar and right sleeves) so I have to buy only custom. Also getting casual clothing is incredibly difficult to get if you don't like t-shirts. I find straight cut chinos especially flattering for my body type.
Antonio, I have to give you many thanks. I’ve been watching your videos since last year and you have completely changed my mind on how to be a fashionable man, or rather taught me. I watched one of you suit guides and used it as a guide to buy my first suit a while ago. I got endless compliments in my business school and in conferences. The work that you do in your channel is simply phenomenal and I do really appreciate it. With great admiration, Sebastian Reyes
This is SO helpful! I'm trying to lose weight, but until I get to my goal, I have to deal with nonsense like this. I appreciate all the help man, you're amazing!
No. Dress for the body that you have now. If/when your dimensions change you can get things tailored down or get new clothing, but you still need to look good for that presentation or job interview.
RMRS has at least 4 other videos specifically about dressing well with a large body type. The first and oldest of which was EXTREMELY helpful for me during my senior year of college, subsequent job search, and first year working in education.

@@louiscyfer6944 that’s the most shittiest advice I’ve heard all day. There’s a difference between now and then. How is a diet going to help them with there fashion appeal now?? Grow up man; according to your pfp you should know this.. smh.
"...like a cartoon character." I was cracking up. Your face when you said that... Great and informal video, by the way. I have decided to get some tailoring. I know the perfect one.
Once again, you have shown why this is my favorite channel. I'm a gym rat. 6' tall 220 pounds. I want to highlight my v taper in nice clothes without opting for godawful slim fit suits that just scream "fad." Thanks again, Antonio!
This video was extremely helpful, thank you! I have a bit of a unique build where I have a inverted triangle shoulder to waist, but a rectangle shoulder to thigh (powerlifters build). Being able to pull from both on what to do up top and what to do waist down gave me a really good guide. And as you said, I’ve got a rough tailor tax, but it’s good to know beforehand when budgeting. Thank you again!
Great video, well put together and very detailed! I’m about a Trapezoid, but I’m short, so finding pants for me is hard! However, I’m trying to get down to an inverted triangle, so now I know what to look for and avoid.
Excellent tips... Monochromatic coupled with jacket on top of it always work for me... What's equally more important is confidence on your own self, that's add so much personality...
I have a Triangle body shape, atleast style can help me. Thanks Antonio for having my back before i got insecure about it. Definately going to keep this in mind 😃.
Very descriptive video. I currently have a rectangle shaped body and the tips here will help me find the right clothes while I shop for new clothing. I also bookmark it for later since I've been working out and I'll need these tips again once I get healthier.
Nice video man..As usual you rock it..and I personally think that style should be the attire of your thoughts and not the thoughts of your attire..keep up the good work😀
4:51 For the V shape guys I raccomed those 2 brands: Alphalete and Gymshark they fit preety well, even tho Nike is an athletic brand it' s still too big on the waist and thight on the shoulder for me.
Antonio...I think is your name. Thank you so much. Over the past month I've applied your concepts, and I received compliments from my wife and my mother! PS: My Anson Belt bundle is on the way to me!
I wish I could give this video 1000 likes. I am a bigger guy (320) and I have reached the point where I hate clothes because of the way they fit me. I am working on my weight but it is slow and I will be changing my approach and buying less in the future while focusing on better not more. Thank you for giving me practical steps to take to a better look.
Fr I have an inverted triangle body shape and my friends adore my body when I'm shirtless, but I'm having a hard time picking my clothes. I have a best friend of mine who has a small shoulder and all the clothes I gave to him suit him very well.
Damn Antonio, totally in sync with the triangle type. Took me years to discover everything you talked about, and can totally vouch for it. I always wear jackets, and never wear shorts. And any longsleeve I wear is always rolled. Thankfully I'm 6'3 so I don't need to worry about lengthening my leg line. I can even get away with wearing skinnier jeans.
Antonio, I have a rectangular shape and short legs. What should I do? I always find some tips for rectangular shape OR short legs. And mostly of these tips contradict each other
Great videos Antonio! A few months ago, I decided I needed to up my fragrance game, I had only worn Nautica or similar my whole life. Scrolling through RUclips, I found your vids, and noticed you were wearing a bb58, the same color way that I own and wear most often. So, I thought, "this guy has watches figured out, let's see what he says about scents." Not only did I get some great info on scents from your videos, I got the idea to do my comb over in the opposite direction, stretch my Allen Edmonds with a bag of water in the freezer, and maybe give trying that pedicure a little more thought. Thanks for the great content. As far as this video goes, I don't feel I fit into any of these categories very well unfortunately. I'm 6'5", just under 300#. I'm just big all over, which is mostly good, but I've got a belly and love handles in addition to huge shoulders and thighs. I'm trying to up my sit up routine and trim down a little, but find myself feeling like casual looks are really tough for me. Any advice?
Awesome video Antonio. Very informative and right on time for me. Was about to add some nee clothes to my wardrobe and now will keep it in mind. 11:20 reminds me of some cultural dances and that actions symbolizes elephant. That part was al little funny but I liked it. Hope that's good with you.
One of the most annoying things I have about buying clothes is how wide my shoulders are. I use to be a competitive swimmer so my shoulders are large. Although I haven't swam in a long time and have lost a lot of weight I am still quite tall and my shoulders are still slightly larger than most skinny guys. I fit in a standard medium shoulder wise but the stomach area is always too loose. I call it the beer belly space lol. So i go to a small and the arms and shoulder areas are too short and the length of the entire shirt is short. However, i have noticed that clothing stores that are based in Asia or Europe tend to fit me a lot better. Places such as Uniqlo, H&M, and express fit me well and have the length i need. In addition athletes slim fit is also really nice. Took me a while but once i found the clothing stores that had my body type I was so happy! Honest for me it is worth it to pay a little more for clothes that will actually fit me.
For big guys these newer suits and Jackets ate short pants tighter and hang lower I still think longer coats give a more slimming effect always liked my jacket length at the tip of fingers not at wrist just saying but still you gave good tips
Great video, It would be a little better if for the oval shape would have had pictures of the models in suits that would have been that shape. Just a thought. I will check out Anson site . The belts do look sharp .
Hardest thing to me is dressing nicely in Florida heat which is 10 months of the year. 90%+ of everyone wears shorts, and so many videos say no shorts, and layering just isn't a realistic comfortable option.
What recommendations do you have with these stats? I've got it hard when it comes to clothing. Fist of all, nice content men, thank you for it. Second, i'm a bit lost, i'm 5.6 ft tall and 224 pounds so i'm a lot overweight but, and i don't know why at all, my shoulders are wider than my lower torso. i don1t know what to do hahahahha
So I’m a little confused about what my body type is. I don’t look fat, I have broad shoulders and a more defined chest, but I have love handles that depending on the shirt I wear are quite noticeable. Would I be in the oval category?
Antonio, all good advice. I have the trapezoid body shape - and lately have been going to get cloths adjusted by a tailor. Great right? But, my difficultly has always been that I'm 6'6" tall 215 lbs, (15% body fat) not bad for 60!. Anyway finding shirts & pants to fit (long enough) has always been a challenge. Suites are easier in that they are tailored to fit. Any Advice for the extra tall and while you're at it the short I'm sure they have difficulty too.
Inverted Triangle shape here. I have weight to lose but still have this V shape. Slim hips and wide shoulders is the worst for clothing. I wear a 4x t shirt, but I can put the rest of me in the shirt.
Great advice! I'm in between the trapezoid and v shape. Do you have and recommendations for place to purchase dress shirts and pants for athletically built men?
Shorts are actually great for my body type. I have massive calves and all other pants are way too tight around my calves. Shorts also make my thighs look a little bigger so my calves won't overpower them.
Hey Antonio, another great video. I'd like to briefly touch on the oval/big man style. I've taken your advice and (almost) entirely eliminated shorts from my wardrobe and I absolutely look better for it. You mentioned formal wear, larger accessories and casual jackets with structure in the shoulder area. Jackets and other outer garments work great in cooler weather, but what would you suggest for warm and hot weather wear? 100°F/100%RH days are not uncommon where I live. What types of fabrics, colors and overall style should I be looking for in that kind of temperature that won't leave my back completely soaked in minutes?
So as a guy with a body type kinda in between the triangle and the rectangle what can I wear in the summer? Jackets are impossible due to how warm it is. Always thought polo shirts were a neat alternative but after checing this video makes sense that they are a bad idea. Stuck with dress shirts? Or a vneck shirt is a good alternative?
Can relate to the V-Shape issues. It's a mess around the waist, it's a mess in the chest area, it's a mess with the length and even the collar size doesn't properly correspond to most measurements. Get shirts done MTM, wear vests (if you can find them...). Jackets are hard to come by, you'll look like a bull in a cage most of the time, so unless you're trying to intimidate someone, it's going to be very particular and you'll return half your purchases even if you're careful.
Nice video. Question, since I am a slim male with a rectangle body shape is it ok if I wear a plaid dress shirt with khakis or slacks for a more casual appearance?

From what I've heard, Tom Ford suits are designed specifically for the athletic/V-shape body type, right off the rack.
Tailor tax / looking like a linebacker for the V-shape is so true (not bragging, just complaining).
6:36 Why do large patterns NOT work with a v-shape upper body?
I have an inverted body and it sucks looking for shirts to fit off the rack. I'm always taking them to a tailor.
Anson rules, especially for my skinny ass and carrying, the 1.5" straps also fit suit pants being just a little less than 1.5.
Great video, It would be a little better if for the oval shape would have had pictures of the models in suits that would have been that shape. Just a thought. I will check out Anson site . The belts do look sharp .

Glad you enjoyed it Paul. Cheers!
I’m with you man! Bigger shoulders and slightly bigger waist. Hourglass esc. I like quality sweaters and dark colored slim fit shirts!

Shorts are actually great for my body type. I have massive calves and all other pants are way too tight around my calves. Shorts also make my thighs look a little bigger so my calves won't overpower them.
What kind of suspenders were those??
Great video!!
I think your sweater will look better if the V was not so shallow.
