Dr Rowe!...I don't know, if you know. You are so kind, your exercise videos seems God send to most of us. I enjoy , your humbleness while your are teaching/showing/demonstrating. So, Thank you so much for taking your time to do this work for most of us to be used as prevention /to heal/ to improve/to get stronger. You are appreciated🙏🙏🙏🏆🏆🏆🥇🥇🥇
Incredibly important. Fell down from my attic 8feet down, hit the very hard edge of the sofa with my left glute, got up , walked and went downstairs to put ice on the glute. Went to the dr. Had x rays and an MRI , had a 10% fracture on my 5th vertebrae, walked every day without pain . My point of it is that the fact that my core muscles were strong has to be what saved me from being in a wheelchair. I play tennis mid to high level, doubles and singles. I am 72 years old, weight 115 lbs. i follow these wonderful exercises religiously . Thanks dr. Rowe Did I mention how well spoken and detailed explanation you give? God blessings to you and your family. Merry Christmas 2023.
All of your videos are excellent, but this one is truly exceptional both because the exercises start out very gentle and easy, followed by more challenging variations for muscles that are usually difficult to target without incurring either undue effort for people who are not truly in shape or present some unsafe moves. Thank you a million for your superb work!!!😀
Your videos are amazing Dr. Rowe. They demonstrate not only your wide range of knowledge & understanding of musculoskeletal disorders and remediation, but also your passion and commitment to excellence in your field. They also demonstrate a selfless attitude and desire to help those in pain and suffering - with little expectation of money. Thank you.
I have to admit that this is the best core dtrenghtening exercises that I have seen in combination for a long time, as I suffer from back pain, damaged knees and damaged shoulders I am going to try these as I feel that I should be able to execute these execises if I start of very gently, I will try to do them three times a week as I also train in the gym three times a week, 2 days at full body weight training and one day boxing training, as I am approaching 60 next month and already have one artifical hip I would be open to anymore advice that you may have.
Dr. Rowe is great. These core exercises are very effective. I'm over 60, 6" tall, 166 lbs. from Canada. The seasonal weather changes are challenging at times, so these exercises are very good, especially if i have to quit exercising for a while, due to colds, or injuries (nasty mid back pain, sciatica,...). These exercises can be self adjusting, according to my personal needs... i love it.
Great set of exercises! I always appreciate the wide variety offered along with all of the tips and suggestions for modifications. Your explanations and demonstrations are so clear and somehow you make them all sound and look very "doable". I love that you pick the best examples of available movements/exercises and gather them into a collection for us. So happy I found you here on YT and thankful for all the help you give.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Finally, exercises that I feel I just might be able to do! (Or, at least ATTEMPT!). Thanks for recognizing that many seniors cannot get down/up from the floor!
Dr. Rowe, these exercises are exactly what I have been looking for. You have explained and demonstrated them so well that I will start them today. Thank you very much.
Thank you SO much for these great core exercises for over 50! I’ve always been super active though got quite humbled last month in the gym lifting perhaps too heavy for my age and pinched a nerve in my neck/scapula and after 7 weeks of crazy pain, I’m finally feeling great and now cautiously working out! Your vlogs have helped me heal along the way and I can’t tell you how I appreciate them all! At 60, I can’t do what undid at 30 in the gym these are a great twist to keep going yet gently👏👏
This channel is so helpful, thank you! I was wondering if you would please show a great way for teens who wear heavy school backpacks can help relieve pain! 🙏🏼❤️
Great video thank you Dr Rowe. Tell me please, for the 'dead bug' do you flatten your pelvis against the bed ie to keep the spine flat to avoid putting strain on it? Many thanks 🇬🇧🇬🇧
You are a great teacher. Could u plz show us exs for osteoporosis of the spine. I cracked my spine one mth ago lifting half a bucket of soil. On the mend but wary now of exercising. GP told me mine is very bad for my age at 77. Was diagnosed 2 wks ago. I also have arthritis, wear and tear, of the spine so I am in a mess it seems. I am a lady. Thank u.
Do you keep your back pressed onto floor and abs tight for first exercise ? What about head on a small pillow? Sitting exercise do you tighten abs too?
Hello Dr Rowe.. I've severe chronic back pain since ages and I've got to know that it is because of "Loss of Lumber Lordosis" Since there's no video about it on your channel, I request you to please please please please please make a video about it 🙏
Great for beginners... like me....also one who hates exercising!😅 I'm saving this one, too, right under my "David Bowie" collection! 😊Have you also done a tutorial on strengthening the pelvic floor...esp for women? Thanks for all you do!❤
I used to do these exercises but I had a terrible femural impinchment 3 months ago and was in a lot of pain. However, I did the exercises you showed on YT about the release of the femural nerve, it worked wonders. Thank you so much. But, I'm still scared to start with the core and buttocks exercises. Please help if I should do them again?
I’d love to see the effect of being overweight on difficulty of dead bug. E.g. : 60 kg = base line. + 10 kg of body weight makes it x times more difficult. How come no one ever addresses this but some recommend adding weights to make it harder ? Some of us do not need to add more weight !
I was looking in your videos for an exercise to help heal a strained muscle in my right side just under the location of my navel. Are these the ones to use? The pain is so bad with every step I take! Thank you for your response!❤❤ ❤❤❤
Now what if we can't lift both legs together due to our core being told its too weak to handle it? I went to a chiropractor and my guy told me I need to start doing core exercises to be able to build up on that.
Hi I have bad si joint / hip pain for the gym, i have done all the pain relief exercises and stretches but nothings working, it feels worse after I do them. Had this for 3 ish months now so please help 😂

My spine I believe is compressed, in in my forties and suddenly lost height after my second pregnancy six years ago.

Question: Why do my hips pop when lowering my leg during the dead bug exercise and how do I fix it? Pop is not painful.
Are these ok I have spinal spondylitis
Bro!!! Can people who have undergone gallbladder surgery do this exercise?
