As an activity instructor in a senior living community, I totally appreciate your instructional videos!! They've helped me create an exercise class that my residents thoroughly enjoy. They're highly attended and beneficial to us all. THANK YOU! You two are THE BEST!
Mine is genetic and I am not able to work at all and hopefully with some of these exercises I will be able to maybe have a sit-down job but part-time. I always had a job where I was standing up I'm glad these guys help you because they do help me happy New Year
Been doing this every morning for about 6 months now. My back pain has resolved and my inguinal hernia seems to have disappeared. I guess core exercises strenghtens abdominal wall? The doctor and surgeon both said inguinal hernias won't cure without surgery at some point. Obviously worth trying light exercise like this video first as it definitely giving positive results. I've done it so much now I have more or less memorised the sequence.
In my experience, core strength is crucial in control of bladder and bowel. Bladder and bowel loss ( leakage) are often an issue as we age, specifically for those of us with chronic disease. Thank you guys for making the exercises fun !
I love you guys, it's clear you genuinely care. I worked in a PT clinic and sincere caring and concern was lacking but you guys epitomize those qualities, thank you for that.
I was watching your video when I had knee replacement surgery 4years ago. This year I got Certified as Personal trainer and started training older clients. This is really educational and useful. Thank you.
Hey, these are good, not necessarily just for Seniors. For a busy person that can only dedicate so much time per day you know. Already do treadmill and yoga everyday. I am extremely busy and sparing 8 minutes is doable. You guys are the best, I swear.
You guys rock! This routine is helping my 93 year old dad rehabilitate from a fall, and I also do this routine during my 7 hour Zoom days. Thanks, Bob and Brad!
These are great alternatives for working these muscles. They are more convenient ways to achieve strength goals, so it’s easier to fit them into my daily activities. Thanks SO much!
Happy Birthday to Bill. I turned 60 on December 7th also. I also want to thank Bob and Brad for all your videos. They have helped me out many times. 🙏💞✌
This video is perfect for my bone lazy ways. Did them right along with you fellas and feel better already. Snowed yesterday... at 74 rather worried about breaking a hip on the ice. Will be staying in more often and this is so oldster friendly. Best make it part of each day. Very grateful to you for saving me the searching for remedy for shut-ins.
August 2022, I clicked on an ad on Facebook advertising seated core exercises for seniors. It was an online course, which I imagine would be costly. They had a RUclips video which I decided to watch on RUclips rather than their website. So glad I did because RUclips showed me your video for the same thing! I can do these core exercises without having to pay for that class course. Thanks Bob & Brad!
Thank you for doing this! I'm 62, had a thalamic stroke last year and now struggle to walk without a cane. Not being able to walk put a dent on my exercise. I can walk in my pool unaided but that's it. I live in Costa Rica and there aren't many options for pt here for this. 5 hours away in San Jose there is. The chair exercises I am finding so helpful, bless you for making them free on the internet! Some of the paid programs online to too difficult, but not this, even with no balance I can easily do all of these
Well I'm 61 my brain says no I'm not but my body does and I have stenosis of the back which is genetic I didn't find out until couple months ago. I've told my PT instructor that I have integrated some of your exercises with his and he said that was perfect because that's exactly what I needed. So thank you very much have a happy New Year guys to you your family and two this community
In addition to hip issues, having some back pain. From experience i know a strong core is essential for a healthy back, glad i found this video, most of the exercises are doable for me, just did it and already my back is happier . Adding these to my daily routine. 💪🤗✨
I was looking for exercises for a friend that can’t easily get down on the floor to do exercises and this video definitely has some great ideas. I did the exercises myself to see how effective they were and found them to be a great substitute for ab work without straining my neck. You guys are my go-to resource to learn new ways of doing exercises. Thanks for all you do to educate your viewers. Also, I recommend you to people all the time. 👍
It was a blessèd day when I found this channel! I can't believe how many things you guys cover that are suitable/necessary for me! I'm a "junior senior", but with back pain and losing muscle tone it's been hard to follow doc's instructions to get certain exercises working. The core work has been the hardest to incorporate. Thank you so much for this video!
Love your informative videos, as well as entertaining. You do make me laugh. I'll be 86 the day before Thanksgiving and am still very independent. Been watching and working on my posture. As long as I stand up straight, which I am working on, I have no pot belly. It is only when I slough. Also need to work on balance. I try to eat healthy by reducing carbs, no pasta, beans, potatoes, but some bread low in carbohydrates, on occasion sweet potato and pizza. Found pizza with a crust made from squash at Costco, not bad. When the weather is hot I go to a mall to walk (without stopping to look in stores). I am a fast walker.
Thank you SO much, Bob and Brad! I love your personalities, and your exercise instruction. I ALSO really like learning about how many bones, muscles, etc. we have in different parts of our body. I also enjoyed learning (on another vid) that doing the "windshield wiper" exercise helps the snyonvial fluid in our hips. I need ALLLLL the help my poor, painful hips can get!
I'm 30, but I had invasive abdominal surgery last year, and my core has weakened since the recovery. My sutures kept me from working out, then I had complications. I will try this. Thank you.
I've been looking for seated core exercises for such a long time. Thank you! These are very effective. As a pharmacist, I recommend your videos to my customers every day at work
Oh my brothers!!! So thankful for this new video!!!🥺🙏💕well new to me ...I will be using these techniques while watching my kids play or any chance I get. I've been watching you now for a little while and I am just in love with the way you are dedicated to helping those in need. Your purpose on this Earth is serving others and I know God is proud of you up there ✨ poverty has kept me away from getting an MRI but I'm on my way in the next few weeks. So your videos mean a lot to me in my everyday life. I thank you and thank you again. Keep smiling😁✨🙏✌️
I dance around the room to music. warm up exercises. drinking water as I go. I incline to forget to stop been at it just over an hour. Still stiff in places after falls I've had. Need a knee exercise. Thanks for these exercises Bob & Brad. Much Appreciated.☘ From Ireland ☘
I love this! But I have to say, the segment regarding the "heal to toes" at 5:03 had me concerned for my L5. While watching the video, I gave it a few tries, but that area is still vulnerable for me. But I want to put a comment in a previous video that you presented for lumbar injuries! I tried it and it worked! I even got the feeling back in my legs and feet!
Dear Bob and Brad, the best physical therapists on the internet according to themselves (😀), would you have an equivalent set of exercises for desk bound slightly younger than seniors people? Thank you very much
Hey guys! Thanks again for sharing these tips! Good warm up movements! I will be joining a zumba class this evening. They canceled the barr class which is what I wanted to start with. I am moderately active daily so I believe I can handle it!
I love you guys , in this instance first exercise as a specialist in chair based and seniors I work every day with clients who are in a chair I would love to comment on these exercises and the initial position on the chair but I’m a nice person he he so much could be more functional. Transitions please into and out of the chair . You guys are amazing I love you so forgive me.
Thank you both I plan on doinyhis every day I needed something I could do easily!!! some were alot harder but i will continue Merry Christmas and God Bless!
I'm not a senior but my back is sprained and I am overweight. I don't have money to go to the chiropractor who last said to try and build my core so I've been doing different chair exercises
Chair sit ups ( straight back, lean back and front ) Back or chest open thingies Lift one leg bent or straight for harder one Heel toes Right to left obliques hands clasps move between knees Chair arm one at a time, leg one at a time, or opposite arm and leg
Thanks for finding these exercises
Had a bad back and physio wants me to increase my core strength so these are great and not to difficult to do at 73
Do more of these - exercises for seniors, please. 👍👍
Please!!!

Mine is genetic and I am not able to work at all and hopefully with some of these exercises I will be able to maybe have a sit-down job but part-time. I always had a job where I was standing up I'm glad these guys help you because they do help me happy New Year
I love these! I can feel these working but not too strenuous for a (nearly) 70 yr old. Many thanks.

The stressing of 'keep Back Straight for Good Posture' impressed me so much. I'm a senior, and this is sooo important as we age.
B&B are wonderful!!!
I'm 30 but I found these exercises useful as I have chronic back pain and am scared of doing any other strenuous exercises done by people of my age.
Bob and Brad you guys are amazing my shins, calf’s, and hips hurt no more, Thank you guys many Beautiful Blessings too Bob & Brad 👼🏼👼🏼
You are the best ,love you
