So much of the lyrics seem to be relating to his personal life. He certainly had a lot that turned on him thru that court case. Anger/resentment sometimes fuels the best songs He has really made a great comeback imo. Great song
I freaking love this song. It harkens back to Holy Wood album vibes, but with a new feel. Building up that angst and unleashing the scream gave me goosebumps on my first and subsequent few listens.
MM screaming out Assassination reminds me of classic Manson and proves that the King has returned to claim his throne. I never had any doubt he couldn't make a successful comeback. Glad to see he's proving everyone wrong. I don't think MM ever left...he was just UNFAIRLY crucified and has returned with another masterpiece. OAUG is a powerful song. He's even won over my uber Christian 80 year old mother. That's saying alot.
I just listened to this song for the first time i must say i really like what i heard i feel this is the tone and vibe he works best with well executed and yeah great song
Very good review guys 🤘 This album is the second part of Holy Wood for me . I would say it is even darker than Holy Wood (that's saying something). This album is between rage and sadness. A masterpiece 📀
This song makes me feel like a smouldering nuclear facility that is dying to explode. My god the emotion in this song is mental. So glad we got him back again. Art is back.
Thx for watching and reviewing this, been watching you on various channels of mine for a while. Keep it up Two Toe Tags. if I were a reviewer on your channel, it deserves at least one toe tag. Great shots in the music video too. The song is cool as well.
"No one can hear my last words, no encore once we say goodbye." heartbreaking followed immediately, by, "you will always be entertained." Terrifying... because it's true... our culture suppresses the accused for our own entertainment.
I absolutely love this song and video!!! His new album is fantastic!!! Every song is amazing. I always love the lyrics of his songs, thry are so visual and know how to pull a reaction out the listener. His vocals sound even better on this album. He seems more healthy and focused. I am so glad he is back. This is my Album of the Year.💯💖💖💖💖
This is 100% the best songs the opening track I can't believe it. I love this song so much it is in my top 10 favorite Marilyn Manson songs. I'm 43 and I've been listening to Manson since I was 15/1996. This is one of his best albums. It is just so good, beautiful, epic, top tier.
Maybe it must grow on me, the album. It sounds like a movie soundtrack, which I suppose makes sense with Tyler Bates producing. I'm calling it "Stock Rock" But having said that there are some tracks I really like - Sick as the Secrets, Nod if you understand, Sacrilegious is fun I'm just so impressed how Manson dealt with this hateful hoax, with dignity and strategy. All artists grow and make music according to what's going on in their lives, its just not where my music taste is at. Really hope this puts him back on the map and restores his status as the legend he is
I'd like to point out the obvious astrological symbolism, of Manson wearing all red (left hemisphere=Sun sign) and holding a goat (born with Sun in Capricorn)
Yea most of the songs on the new album are really good this one is definitely up there as top 2 or the best of the album. This jas more interesting visuals then the last 2 videos they weren't bad but both we're basically similar but both also had good songs. This one and the first music video he did for this new album are both awesome this was overall an awesome album but I will say I did really like Pale Emperor as well. Manson constantly tries to reinvent his look somewhat somewhat with each new albums in terms of tone and feel I will say this album for me felt the closest to Antichrist Superstar Hollywood Mechanical Animals Manson trilogy and would fit well enough as part of those.
I actually like this album better than holywood so far... and if chapter 2 is just as good it will be my favorite work he's done.. i love ACS but as I get older his softer stuff is my favorite.
The goat is also on his right side, which implies the left hemisphere because the left hemi controls the right side of the body. You have to know astrology to understand symbolism.
Interesting because I was thinking with the goat and all that, it's on the right side means the right finally has control of the left (the goat being left (blue) and the right would be a sheep (red). He's wearing red and the tree in back is red. The house is blue on the outside but within it's actually red. Red balloons and he was red in the whole video almost. Fascinating.Sounds like the sheep finally got control of the goat.
@@xaviaczombie412 not entirely sure. Nov 22nd is the day JFK got assassinated. Not sure if that has anything to do with the release date. Maybe a coincidence, maybe on purpose.
This is classic Manson ! Love the birthday scene !
He’s still got it. Love this song and video. Somethin about the table scene and standing there with the goat.. Classic Manson
Best album since Holy Wood
agreed
Exactly my thought, too.
This is definitely a real revival
I think so, too. I've loved every album, but this one hits different.
If you're not really a fan sure
Marilyn Manson The Last Great Rockstar🙌
This definitely gives me old Manson vibes. What a tune!
Gets better with each listen
So much of the lyrics seem to be relating to his personal life. He certainly had a lot that turned on him thru that court case. Anger/resentment sometimes fuels the best songs
He has really made a great comeback imo. Great song
Every manson album is basically personal, especially moreso Eat Me Drink Me onward.
Exactly. “ everybody showed up for the execution “
So good! He’s really back artistically

Song is perfect, just perfect
Fucking love this song. He looks and sounds better than he has in a very long time.

Been a die hard fan since 1996 and i absolutely freaking love it! Best album since Mechanical Animals imo
Been listening to him since 96 as well and I agree this is his best album since Machanical Animals for sure
Absolutely love this album and can’t get enough of it , fucking love it.
Easily his.best video for me since Coma White.. ASATSW was amazing too!
Hell yeah yes awesome music video 🍺🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Manson is best live
Loving the new album and this is a great opener. As you say it has that slow burn that gets more and more leading to that classic Manson scream
Very good review guys 🤘

Loving this album 🔥 this video and the song, already replayed several times 🙌

Great album. It grows on you. I can really feel Mansons suffering and the shit he's been thru in the album.
His wife really fixed him she used that "I can fix him" girl move. We can only thank Lindsay ❤
I’m obsessed with this song!!!
Me too

Holy Wood 2.0 and we are all for it!!!! album is amazing
Both the video and the song are great! Real Nightmare on Elm Street/horror movie vibes!
"No one can hear my last words, no encore once we say goodbye." heartbreaking

This album reminds me of Mechanical Animals a lot, and thats a great thing -- that album was ahead of its time
Love the channels name from one toe tag to another👍.

amazing album by Daddy Manson ♠️
A hug from Brazil! I would like to leave a suggestion for a translation into Portuguese, I always watch your videos, especially about Manson.
Im getting tool vibes. This is fucking awesome!

Does that Riff give anybody else Beautiful People vibes?
Next time, when he will film the scenes infront of my house, because it is like a copy how I live, he can ring on the bell and come for a drink.
With the raincoat and fedora he had a Rozz Williams vibe except Rozz had a fur coat
it's sad tha Rozz ended his life. that guy was the most influencal artist in the death rock scene
Umbrella man. Dealey Plaza
Why the song is not in the Album 1st chapter
Maybe is gonna be in the 2nd chapter

Great reaction, great video, great song, great comeback baby 🤘🔥
Only negative is the album needed another song, or two. Kinda tired of artists doing the bare minimum.
His best album since holy wood. Period.
There's always seems to be some echo in your videos once you play the song. Anyone else hear it?
@@kunterieser It's because the microphone pics up the audio from the speakers as well as from the video.
Sigh.... There will never be another, "Portrait of an American Family".
His stuff is just boring as i get older.
They killed my Father this year. 😢 assassinated
😢 sorry to hear.... sends hugs
I am sorry : (
Red implies masculine, logical, non emotional
