I first saw his paintings in the early nineties at a really amazing antique and oddities shop in the French Quarter in New Orleans. I asked the owner about them because they looked like Manson. He said they indeed were his, and that they were friends... Such a cool memory 🖤

I am sure there is a part of him that is broken and he is more lonely or feels empty inside because he has come to a realization about what people really are. And I can't wait to see him take all his pain and transform it into a dark but beautiful work of art that he calls his music. As a life long Manson fan I never thought he'd recover from being cancelled. I thought he would just disappear. This song is amazing - it's epic, the video is grotesque, the lyrics relate to his sobriety and his tour in now in full swing. I feel the song has alot of parts, could be trimmed down by a minute maybe to make it more concise. But I love it, have listened to it dozens of times.
The verses and guitar work in it reminded me a lot of Tourniquet. It's like a mix of Tourniquet brought to Mechanical Animals by the same mindset of Pale Emperor. His vocals sound amazing too. This is the best he's sounded in a long time.

Manson did well to sign with Nuclear Blast Record. It is a label in line with its music and its image. It's not a musical variety label. This return to the sources, both visual and musical, is not insignificant.

Been a fan of MARILYN MANSON pretty much since the beginning (when they used to tour as an opening act to GENITORTURERS all over Florida in the early days); eventually wound up meeting him in a bar in New Orleans and had some cool conversations over drinks with him on several occasions (also drank with Twiggy in a whole other bar, but he was so out of it you never knew what to expect)!

I only recently (last few years) really became a Manson fan. I got my parents to download this song The Beautiful People off Limewire back in the day and when they found out who it was singing it, they freaked out. Took me a long time to really get into his music but Im glad I did because he has some of the best vocals of any singer out there, and can hang with any top tier screamer when he wants to. I'm glad he's back, healthy and with a strong voice again judging from his comeback concert yesterday. This new song is vintage Manson and I can't wait for more to come.

Nice reaction! Totally get old school vibes with this song going back to Mechanical Animals and Holywood! Been a fan of MARILYN MANSON pretty much since the beginning (when they used to tour as an opening act to GENITORTURERS all over Florida in the early days); eventually wound up meeting him in a bar in New Orleans and had some cool conversations over drinks with him on several occasions (also drank with Twiggy in a whole other bar, but he was so out of it you never knew what to expect)!

In the end he says "keep sleeping"... This is Marilyn talking to Manson. A self-song about how he slowly trapped himself into something he built, then tried to escape it for all the wrong reasons. On drugs getting high, living the illusion until it drived him that far away from what he really was under his skin, he unraveled the secrets inside himself. The ones he was running away from.
But the one he was running away from - wasn't the actual evil and the bad, as... Thee one.. running away.
This is the song about healing himself. Calling him back, the hungry beast. Slowly assuming control, not the comeback yet. Still sleeping, healing & dreaming of what he actually liked doing. What he enjoyed, loved doing, that beast who is waking up, getting out of that skin he wore for so long. And we all dream of it too :)

I only recently (last few years) really became a Manson fan. I got my parents to download this song The Beautiful People off Limewire back in the day and when they found out who it was singing it, they freaked out. Took me a long time to really get into his music but Im glad I did because he has some of the best vocals of any singer out there, and can hang with any top tier screamer when he wants to. I'm glad he's back, healthy and with a strong voice again judging from his comeback concert yesterday. This new song is vintage Manson and I can't wait for more to come.
