@@JCImagesBehindtheShot Thank you so much 🙏 I am arriving 5th of April midday and I wonder if we could meet and do a video and some shooting together! Please let me know so I can schedule uppon that.
Great video Jay .. thank you. Another good spot in NJ is Hoboken, near or along Frank Sinatra drive. One good thing here too is Hoboken is a transit hub, so easy access via train in NJ, then just a short walk to the waterfront
Beautiful images, love your photography, keep it up and thanks for sharing the lovely spots, definitely going to explore all of them during my visit to NYC.
Thank you for the tips. The Weehawken spot is a real gem. It worked out very well, parking is usually a nightmare in the area and I was able to park right near the water. Plus, I plan to explore the Astoria location. Great channel, well done.
I have not been to NYC and I will be in a month's time. Your video is just what I need for photographing the famous Manhattan skyline at night! Thanks for this. As I understand, I have to be in New Jersey to get a good shot. Can you tell me the mode of transport from Manhattan please? Is it safe to be walking around the waterfront with camera? Thanks again for the video and nice photos.
Super vlog Jay! What awesome locations and images. I want to visit all the more now. The lockdown here in the UK forced a cancellation of a 3 day photo trip to London for me recently. So looking forward to my next architectural based photo trip. NYC is high on my bucket list. :-)
Thanks for the kind words Paul. Sorry to hear about your canceled trip to London. The world is crazy right now. If you do get to New York let me know-we can compare thoughts
Very nice video. You gave a calm and peaceful atmosphere to it that one really felt wanting to be right there taking pictures too. They are all great spots! If one is in New York for a couple of days only, I guess you have to make a decision which ones to choose from. The areas at Weehawken or Dumbo/Brooklyn Park, being closer from downtown Manhattan are they easy to access just walking towards there? They were like my personal favorite spots from your video. :)
Great vlog Jay. Had a few of these locations marked out for last month so it was good to see these plus the other locations from your own perspective. Got me thinking about possibly extending my trip by an extra few days when its possible to travel to NYC
Thank you for the tips. I'll go to NY next month. Which lenses do you raccomend to bring with me? Is the 14mm wide angle necessary in your opinion? Thank you
Sorry for the delay. I typically carry a 16-35mm lens and that is almost always wide enough. If you have other questions (locations, transportation, etc) feel free to reach out.
Fantastic video! I have a few questions for you. I am thinking of going to Brooklyn on the morning of Sunday, 12/26 to photograph the Manhattan skyline. Do you have any recommendations in regards to parking in the area? Will I be okay just parking on the street in a nearby neighborhood in the pre-dawn hours on a Sunday? Thanks for all your awesome videos!
You will probably be able to find a spot at that hour. If you are desperate, there is a parking garage on Adams Street between Front Street and Water Street. Good luck friend!

Great places and insight. I went to weehawken and liberty state park last evening. Where do you park when you go to Dumbo?
Jay Next time try Williamsburg amazing views
On my list Freddie! Thanks!
@@JCImagesBehindtheShot I have some pics of Williamsburg on my IG
Great video, definitely my next location. Maybe you could take me to one in exchange for breakfast 👍😊
Absolutely! Thanks!
Wonderful video Jay. Super helpful!! For your long exposure shots at blue hour in Pebble beach in DUMBO, did you use a ND filter?
Thanks Eric! I did not need a filter because it was fairly dark.

You can walk across the Brooklyn Bridge between Dumbo and Manhattan. Weehawken is tougher to get to. You would need to Uber. (sorry for the delay!)
