bruh usa driving tests are insanely easier than uk...

joydivison that was hilarious 😂😂
Amazing how much easier the US test are compared to the UK ones, he tells her everything and even mentions stopping at the stop signs? Mine gave me a destination, and the rest was up to me. Just did mine in the UK and it was 10 times more difficult than this, I passed it but I had all the fun stuff, hill start, complex parking, emergency stop, tricky roads, and no GPS. GPS is great for planning routes ahead and checking speed limits.
as an ex uk driving instructor(who even got some americans thru UK test) and as someone who lived in MS and TN from 2013-2016 i can honestly say the level of driving in the US is staggeringly bad :( and the test in US is a joke, for those of you who dont know also its the whole gear /transmission thing that is the biggest difference ie pass in a manual (stick) in the uk you can drive anything, pass in an auto means you can only drive an auto, where as in america they all (mostly) learn and pass in an auto and then can drive anything, hence most of (not all) are so bad in a manual (stick) car, its laughable really :)
You was rolling through some stop signs 😂
Yeah, the break pidal was so nervous at that time 😂

The driving test in england is literally 40 minutes long and if you roll on a stop sign you instantly fail. Driving in america seems like literally anyone would be able to pass, not to mention most of cars you drive are automatic anyways lmao
ik man, the usa driving tests look piss
its depend where state we belong some state here in USA are very strict in driving test and yes we are used to drove an automatic transmission, not in manual.
Wow my test in new york lasted 5-10 minutes
We don't have public transport in many places, so having a car is essential unless you live somewhere like NYC. Maybe that's why they don't make the test too strict, just enough to prove you aren't reckless.
@James Brennan when did you take your test? I can guarantee if you took it 10 years ago you'd have a 95% chance of failing it now

The examiner/instructor often says: "At this street, go straight." During my Dutch driving lessons and the exam, if the examiner doesn't say anything, you are supposed to go straight, unless it is overruled by a sign.

Jade, so you’re a Last of Us fan. Proud of ye mate.
I understand that the maneuverability portion of the test is important but losing points for stopping in my opinion is dumb. In a situation like that you’d have to stop, otherwise you’ll either need split second reaction time or know what you’re doing. Losing 2 points isn’t terrible but I think it’s silly. @@cloroxbleach8661 did you pass?
Haha I passed my test today, idk why I’m still watching these 😂. First try too! Woohoo!
isn't too easy in the USA?
farooq sadat No it wasn’t really easy. If you practice it is easy, that’s how I found out it was easy. We did 3 techniques for parking which is parallel, backing in, and pull up to 2 cones without crossing the line. Then if you pass the parking, you go out on the road portion. We do city driving, and back road driving, and highway driving going 70mph.
Cool, cause in Germany we quite struggle a lot and we do have those points that you mentioned. Although, I saw only STOP signs at the end of the streets hehe but it’s great that you did it. And the parking part was quite stressful I do get that...
farooq sadat Yes I agree parking was pretty rough. But luckily, where I took my test, they leave the cones up all year round. So the day I took my test I got there an hour early and practiced with the set up. So I aced my parking once I took my test. My driving examiner even said I did a good job and just pointed out like one thing I need to watch out for when I’m driving by myself. Pretty easy. Just relax and pretend you’re alone.
I passed mine on Thursday night been watching these all night
wtf the american driving exam is our british beginner lesson wtf
Ikr. No parallel parking, no major traffic, not 3 point turns, not a lotta speed change, barely any lane changing, barely any round abouts. This test is a joke.

I passed my test today on the first try. It’s actually not that hard for real as long as you come in with a “I’m going to pass” mindset
congratulations
I’ve just passed my test a couple hours ago in the UK (no idea why I’m watching an exam in Ohio), and this looks sooooo easy compared to the test I did. In the UK, the tests last 38-40 mins with two manoeuvres. Plus, most people (including me) learn/do a test in a manual/stick shift car as that is what most of us drive in the UK currently. The examiner in this video seems to almost be hinting. Rolling through a stop sign would also be an automatic fail in the UK. Well done on passing, though.
Congrats! and thank you for watching...☺❤
It’s an automatic fail here too but the examiner was just nice about it
In Brazil, we have to apply to a certified drivers license school, do a course that takes about a month (if you can attend the classes twice a week) and then take a written exame.. if you pass you will start the driven lessons (and the amount of time will depends in your availability to have the drivers lessons)..
And then you take a practical text, driven on highway and streets roads, and parking.. almost like this one on the video.. but with more pressure because it’s 3 to 4 people with you in the car to do this test, one after another..
And if you fail on any of the text you have to pay more to do again..
And it’s not $50,00 it’s more like $500, ( considering you pass in all the exames, if not, there is plus another fees)..
Ohio has one of the easiest tests in the whole country. If this were Washington state then the test would be way harder.
Lol, it is an automatic fail here too, and yeah manuals are more complex (I'm taking mine in an automatic to pass easier hopefully) but she completely should have failed. Uh.. good job though I guess-? 😅
Thank you for this video. I will be rewatching it continuously to ease my anxiety over the test.
you're welcome and GOOD LUCK !, make sure you totally stop at stop sign 😉 and use turn signal every turn left or right and change lane
Well done for passing! I remember when I passed my driving test in the UK - as has been said in previous comments we have to also perform two manoeuvres, which I had to do reverse around a corner and an emergency stop. We also have to do a certain amount of time in what is known as "independent driving" where the examiner tells you where you need to drive to and you have to get there following the road signs correctly without the examiner giving you directions (that may have changed now as this was 10yrs ago I took my test). It was completely nerve racking and my driving instructor was waiting at the end of the test with a huge smile on his face when I found out I passed.
thank you so much

Welcome to Ohio.
You'd need a driving licence so you can escape. Gawd, it looks so poor. Here in UK you will probably drive amongst heavy traffic. The examiner says drive straight ahead unless I direct you otherwise. He wouldn't remind you at junctions or ask you to watch out for speed bumps (unless he had a bad back maybe).
omg and here in Poland it is soo hard to pass the exam, exams here are at least 35 min long, and it is so hard to pass it, a lot of my friends here pass the exam in 4-5 tries ( i passed it in my second try)

I took the test a long time ago in CA at a DMV ( CA has DMV, OH has BMV - same thing) that no longer exists, and easily passed, and the funny thing that differentiated my test was we were expected to see how we interacted with other drivers, and at a 3 way intersection, another driver made an illegal maneuver(he/she stopped after me, and then proceeded before anyone else could ), and I mentally noted that driver's car plate number,& so did the test proctor, and after the event, the proctor queried me, during the test, as to why I reacted the way I did, and my answer satisfied her, and then she asked me if I recalled the plate number of the offending car, which I did, and she introduced me to the office director, after passing the test. They had me sign some paperwork, to bear witness to the other driver's offense, and I got my driver's license, and a can of diet coke as a gratuity.
that's awesome
Why are Europeans watching American drive tests just to complain about it🤔 also how did you pass. You made so many critical errors. You got so lucky
Right..🙂😂
So you're telling me that Americans are never critical of Europeans either?
Exactly lol, why are some of them rude about it, idk. But mainly they’re just pointing out the difference. But it’s not like every country is gonna be the same and do the same thing as them, so I don’t understand why they are so shocked. Bigger cities in the USA are stricter tho I know, this looks like a rural town so it’s not gonna be as hard.
because there mad they have some of the most wrecks, and there driving tests are nit picked.
It's just culture shock that Americans drive so poorly compared to the rest of the world.

This is exactly the same weather when I did my driving test in South Africa back in 1996. It was my first time driving on a wet road and in a new car. I was terrified. But thankfully passed. 🤭 Here in South Africa, we first need to pass our "learners licence" (where we are given a written multi choice test) to see if we know the meaning of road signs and other rules and once we pass, we can start to learn to drive and once we feel ready, we can apply for our driving test, which includes the interior, exterior and engine checks and then the "yard test", where we are tested on parallel parking, alley docking, incline starts and emergency stops. Once that is passed, we are then taken onto the public roads where we are tested on our traffic and road sign knowledge.
Wow almost the same over here need to pass the eye test and written test before you can get an student license or temporary license
@@NePhill75 Goodness me! We need to do eye tests also. Our driving licenses are permanent, but we do need to renew our driving licence cards every five years which includes an eye test. Thankfully not the whole test again! 🤭
Same here
After watching this, it is certain that driving tests in the US are a whole lot easier than in Spain. I took my test two weeks ago and it was 30 minutes long, the examiner just tells you to go right or left, we have to drive stick and the streets are crowded AF. I’m pretty sure that If any teen took their driving test in Europe they would fail for sure.
It varies a lot by state. I took mine in MI, and our tests are 45 min to an hour long including everything from merging onto and driving on the freeway, city driving (I took mine in Grand Rapids, so the traffic was usually crazy), parking maneuvers (including parallel parking).
The only difference is driving automatic, which is definitely easier, but then again most american cars are automatic. I personally would've loved for the driving test to be on a stick, but most people aren't going to need to drive one.
welp, just took my test and aced it with no points off. I was about to puke before it I was that nervous. there’s really nothing to be nervous about, just stay calm and do what your told!

I was broken inside because That was not my best shot…and we moved and forward after the stop she told to take a right turn but They were two lanes and I got confused between right and left lane cuz there they was another lane for the incoming traffic..she stressed and said right right..I didn’t want to do it I dont know what happend to me..may be the surroundings were not familiar it was just two months I have been practicing here in US..and okay then we moved forward and again in left turn I missed the left lane mark and then I knew Im fucked but still was going forward..she was kind enough at the end to explain me things what i did wrong but I didnt understand the scoring system..she said zero is passing and i got -35 but Does that mean we cannot make any mistake.??? If anybody know pls comment…overall it was a really bad experience and I have to take four abbreviated driver’s class..hope this failed attempt make me a better driver..I’ll retake the exam in 4 months..I also made a mistake in lane changing..

Hi, it's gonna be alright just more practice and you'll be fine. next time don't ask the examiner which way you go ask them if you can go the way that you're feels so convenient to do so I practiced both sides going left isn't my best that why I asked the officer if I can go to the right actually he already marked the left side in the scoring sheet he just crashes out it and put on to the right, they will give you a chance just need to approach politely, about scoring in maneuverability every stops its 2pts if you hit the cone 10pts and automatically failed it only 26pts and 26pts also in actual road test if you miss changing lane its 5pts if you miss to turn on your signal before you change lane its 5pts if you turn right in the intersection so widely its 5pts you need to get below 26pts to pass thank you for watching and commenting it's really appreciated Good luck to you have a great one.

Why is there barely any Ohioians in these comments. Like a girl wants information from her state to learn, not about the different difficulty levels for entirely other countries 😭 Either, I wish everybody to pass and drive safely
It's crazy to see how different driving tests are in different countries. It's much easier to pass in america it seems. I know in Denmark you have to drive for about 30-40 minutes, and the instructor doesn't tell you what to do, he/she tells you what result he/she wants and then you have to do it yourself (Like testing the brakes and the turnsignals). Not to mention that if drove like this in denmark you would've probably failed like 5 times.

same here as well
same here in all beginners
Holding the liscense for a year already implies that 17 is the youngest you can be.
goodluck and keep safe sissy sending my support
just booked my uk test and watching this makes me cry, this just looks too easy.
so sorry to hear that please don't be happy
I felt nervous for her during the reversing at the cones
@@roxygirl1956 lol
Looks easy
@@fpskoda467 it’s not easy like it looks. Takes a lot of skills to perform it correctly.
its amazing how easy the drive test is in the us and she still would have failed in Australia for rolling through those stop signs.
your driving exam was a lot easier than we have in Poland :O
thank you so much
I wish I had that guy lol I live in Ohio and failed for rolling through a stop sign even though I counted to 3 in my head
Everybody from other countries is saying how hard their tests are compared to America and I just gotta say...I’m glad I live in America
P.S. In my state you do have to do parallel parking to pass
I totally agree 👍 👌
Same. Also, Epic profile picture😎😳👌🏻🚫🧢
Haylee Brina thank you sir
Ohh no not parallel parking
I have my test tomorrow! Very nervous but I’m gonna walk in confident! I’m really nervous for the cone test😂
good luck don't be nervous you'll get it
galing naman po ng traffic rules diyan or traffic law god bless po,viral po pala video nyo
Salamat, oo nga po viral sa UK puro panlalait hehe nagpapasalamat ako sa kanila

Good luck,, don't feel too much nervous ☺
The realteonanicole I take mine tomorrow too
How'd it go?
@@agentman1998 I passed
Good luck!
even though i passed my road test already, i get anxiety watching road test videos😂
so much easier than the UK driving test! i wish i took my driving test in the US!
Same
They can’t drive manual cars though, just automatic ones
I could’ve passed the US one after like 4 lessons on UK roads
Americans can drive manuals
@@scottishjedi1522 trust me but driving test is not that hard if you are confident and know the route etc trust me
this is so much easier than the driving exam in Switzerland
Aha comparing to UK I can drive this test in US with closed eyes
@@algatronalgirdas come and try to drive with your closed eye..lol
Can you explain more about it? Everyone keeps saying Europe is harder than the US, but I wish to understand why and how.
naruto12270 I’m from Switzerland too.
First the exam is 45min to an hour long.
Roads are a lot narrower in Europe
You’re asked questions about your vehicle before the exam starts
You’re tested on all the styles of parking
You’re tested on your ability to emergency brake.
You’re tested on your ability to maneuver in reverse (like doing a U Turn or hit zig zag)
Cars are tested in manual
@@NathanAlderGigaBITNate Much the same over here in the Netherlands.
Loads of people also fail the written test multiple times (didn't have any problems with it myself luckily).
Examinators also tend to pick tricky routes where for example a road suddenly turns into a one way street to keep you on your toes.
The use of mirrors and order of looking in them is also pretty strict.
Rolling trough stop sings is cause for immediate failure.
my test is less then 24 hours and im so nervous---- update: i passed:) yall it’s honestly super easy and i was nervous for no reason
good luck to you
Ha your US tests are so easy over here in the UK we have to drive 3 days straight with no food water or bathroom breaks. Then we have to parallel park 8 times AND we drive manuals.😨😂😂
wahahahaha love it
Quick question: so for the maneuverability exam, do you only do one side? She did right side and not the left, which contradicts my instructions lol. Do you get to choose which side? Does the county you live in matter? (Lorain).
You can select which side its doesn't matter just tell the examiner
Yes you only do one side, and either side that you comfortable to
do they make you take the maneuverability test & the parallel parking test or just one or the other?
just the maneuverability test they don't do the parallel parking
@@NePhill75 all of ohio’s dmvs don’t do the parallel parking?
@@davionna9465 yes they don't do parallel parking, only the maneuverability test
omg my anxiety level with the cones Chile lmfaooo.
This is hilarious, no way Americans would pass a UK test
Oh come on...lol
would you like some tea mate
@@raechoi8079 yes plz
She was lucky! The instructors are a total piece of sht! They’re not nice to you!
Oi bruv i’ll take a test on chewsday and we’ll see if i can, it’s gonna be easy innit?
Thanks :) which center did you go to?
it was in Hamilton east
7:38 do they take points off if you wait too long to take a left turn when there is open space?
no
This felt more like a driving lesson. Interesting.
thank you for watching
I was nervous as if I was the driver omg
You tryna street race me with all that attitude!?
I passed just today at Hamilton county Seven hills exam station!! Yayyyy
congrats
Was it hard
Please respond I take mine next week there what do they have u do and what does it look like
Happy New Year Neybur
I took my test in Cuyahoga Falls and I had a really nice lady. However, for the maneuverability test, the parking lot was so fucking uneven. There was a small pothole right in the middle of the cones and an even bigger one on the left side😂 of course, that was the side she made me go, and I went super slow. My car did a dip in the pothole, and I freaked out, but I passed. I passed my entire test with only 3 minor errors, and they were all bs, but at least I passed.
That’s where I’m taking mine next week !! Is the test long ? And do that worry about little stuff ?😩😩
@@thereal_va3hh169 the test isn’t long at all. The whole thing, road test and maneuverability, was only 20 minutes. You’ll most likely do maneuverability first and then go to a neighborhood that’s right behind the DMV to take your road test. It was really easy and if you’re prepared, you’ll do fine. :)
I passed my test on the first try in Cincinnati ,Ohio I was in 7hills 😁👌🏾 for the new drivers we now have new rules you have 1 shot and 1 shot only to pass your exam on the first try (maneuverability) included if you fail you will have to pay for driving school and wait a year before you can take it again 😭🗣 GOOD LUCK 🍀👍🏾
Not true. You have up to four tries at it, and you have to wait up to 24 hours to redo the part(s) you failed.
The change was with the needing the drivers ed if you fail the first time in either portion (with a few option of how to do things) before you're allowed to take the failed part again. On the fourth fail, you have to redo the process of getting a new permit. No where does it state that you have one chance at it or that you have to wait a year if you fail the first time, unless there was some new law I'm not aware of. If so, please direct me to where it brings that up, because no where on Google search did it say that.
Yeah this isn’t for everybody it’s for people who are 18 trying to skip over taking drivers ed
Everyone tells me to go to 7 hills. My friends bfs instructor fell asleep with him on his test lol how strict are they?
@@srtzo6679 even if you fail over 18 you don’t have to wait a year
Hi. May I know where in OH you took the test? I might take my test in Norwalk. Thanks.
Hamilton
