I always skate decathlon shoes. The new Vulcas are even better then the old ones. They are still a lot stiffer than the basic Nike skate shoe, but are more durable than Nike.
Regarding the deck, I have Decathlon’s blank deck with no graphic and I think it’s solid. Nothing special about it, but the price. More importantly, nothing wrong as well.

Their shoes are are super strong but as you said they are stiff. I had to walk with them for 2 weeks to break them in. Thanks for the support man!🙏🏼🤜🏼
This seems like a really solid deck and given the price well worth it. What you said about the skate shops though is a valid point and why it is best to spend that little extra to support those who are likely to give back to skateboarding.

From what i understand decathalon decks are made by dsm, or dwindle distributions, which make brands like blind almost enjoi etc. So pretty much decathalon just has dsm make blanks and impact light blanks for their store? I wish these guys were in america id buy one in a heartbeat just to try it lol
I think there are few Decathlon shops in US. But I don't know if they have that board...

I am poor so I'm going to be getting the Decathlon deck, but I'm going to my local skate shop to get the rest of the accessories. At least I'll be skating again, and hopefully this time for a long time if the board is durable enough.
I agree that the price of skateboard raised also as the rest... If you want you can also get bearings and and hardware in decathlon. But for the trucks and wheels it better to get those from your local skate shop.
I'm curious to try one as I used to ride flight decks. However it is going to cost an arm and leg to get one shipped to the US.
If I'm right, Decathlon opened few shops in US and Canada. But I don't know if that board is yet available their...
I‘m a board breaker…. I just bought my first flight deck and the shape is perfect to me. but good to know that there is an alternative 😉👍
I have been thinking about getting one of those too. Not because I'm a board breaker but I think that their mellow shape would fit to my skating. Santa Cruz VX are too steep...
