Our definition of planet is that it has cleared it orbit, so no a planet cannot share its orbit.

Pluto/charon is basically a double "planet" system. Those planets could also be in a binary orbit

Our definition of what constitutes a planet was what someone said and what someone defined what a planet should be doesn’t make it true. For all when know, it’s a theory and a theory until it can be proven. However, you cannot prove the concept of a word to define something. Someone said a planet is XW and Z doesn’t make true or false. It’s a word and only a word.

So I know what I am about to suggest is impossible since we have pictures of our solar system (kinda) that disproves this but imagine if there was another earth like planet in our solar system that shared our orbit and speed but it was always on the other side of the sun so we'd never see it. That'd be cool
