The Old Kingdom pharaohs and some royals were buried in Mastaba tombs, and later in Pyramid tombs. The later rock-cut tombs of the Valley of the Kings represent a vast cultural change in royal burial practices and date to 1000 years later than the Pyramids, during the New Kingdom.

    Complete nonsense.
The water in the Hypothetical Shaft could, of itself, rise no higher than the surface level of the water in the Trench.
The ancient Egyptians would have to have had very strong hydraulic pumps to force the water in the Hypothetical Shaft to rise to a higher elevation than the surface of the water in the Trench.
Since the ancient Egyptians had no such pumps, the idea is nothing but complete fantasy.

We think that we are so important, that we totally disrespect past civilisations. There were superior civilisations to ours that existed long before the Egyptians, that we are totally unaware of. That is my absolute conviction. Their works, which survived past catastrophies were adopted and repaired by the Egyptians and others. The proof is that if our civilisation were to come to an end, there would be very little evidence of our existence in 500 years time, let alone 1000 years. We do not build with mammoth 500 ton blocks of stone, and neither did the Egyptians. They built on the megalithic blocks of a long vanished and unknown civilisation which handled massive building blocks with some technology that is unknown to us today.

Djoser was built in admiration/honor of the culture that existed before dynastic Egypt. The Egyptians removed stones, alabaster and gold from the pyramids in Giza. Why would they remove components of the pyramids of they built them? This lie needs to stop. Egyptians repurposed the great pyramids and this is a FACT.
