    • @HASTE347
      @HASTE347 2 года назад +1

      SQ5, S5, A6/A7 (among others)...all share the same platform. They are reliable up to around 100k miles, then things start needing to be replaced that are fairly major, like a timing chain. 100k miles is considered to be 'lifetime' for VAG.
      Also, some years of the 8-speed auto have a temp sensor in the radiator that will leak and wick fluid all through it, ruining the wiring harness. Replacing said harness requires the engine to be dropped (about $15k USD all said and done). I am sure there are some other quirks that I've yet to experience, however, being able to add ~200 HP with just pulley changes and software is rather insane. Over 420HP is what a software only tune will get you.
      I have a DP A6 and a stage 1 S7, and the A6 is more fun to drive (despite being slower) due to the instant power the roots style blower gives you vs the turbos.
