Demon Huntress looks good, but I like the male version better. Hope they really let us choose which one we want to use.

Was really looking forward to this, now we can finally see the whole picture on how reforged is going to look like, even tho much of this has room for improvement.
I said it once and I will say it again, thank you so much for making these videos, this really sheds light on the whole remaster and just makes me more excited for the actual release

The only problem I have is that I think the color patterning is too bright, where it should be darker shades, since they are night elves, Keldorei. Children of the stars and the forests. But I have to admit that the way that the fairy dragon looks is superbly outstanding.
We can probably adjust that

unpopular opinion: ballistae are better than glaive throwers
Unpopular fact: Blizzard changed orc's catapult and elf's ballistae because they were afraid of copyright. The Warhammer universe has both of them. I think it's strange, how can you copyright ancient siege engine?

@@starsfalldown1234567 there actually less clothes but not that much from the original. The Night Elves were never really fond of full armor (except in WoW and Wardens)
The huntress armor type was unarmored in Warcraft 3 so they wearing less make sense

Happy with the druids, not happy about the sentinels.
1. Color. All skin's been made slightly less blue and slightly more pink; armor and clothing have been completely changed from uniformly blue-black to various strips of brown and bright purple. Warmer across the board. I don't mind warm colors on the druids, but the sentinels (Archer, Huntress, Hippogriff, and to a lesser extent Dryad, Demon Hunter, Priestess, and Warden aesthetically) used to have a very cool, moonlit palette that was extremely consistent across their units, evoking both their moon-themed mystery and a strong, militaristic unity. That's now gone.
2. Armor. I don't mind sneaking in some midriff or open back, but Huntress took off a whole suit of plate and gave it to the cat. Breastplate now nonexistent, leg armor reduced to boots, even the half helm was exchanged for a tiara. Maybe this was meant to reflect how The Frozen Throne changed her armor class from "medium" to "unarmored" for balance reasons, but it's nevertheless a huge waste of one of the strongest designs in the game, and the one that really sold the "perfect warriors" image Grom Hellscream was gushing about when they first fought. Priestess also lost her headgear somewhere.
3. Pose. Everyone's pointed out the Archer's preparing-to-puke squat already, though in that case I almost want to forgive it for being one of the scarce attempts Reforged makes at a characterful stance (see: Jaina, Hellscream, and Sylvanas rocking the spacing-out-questgiver stance). But yes, it is obviously terrible, and it's because it lacks dignity. And that matters extra here because we're talking about a race of Elf Amazons; dignity is a lot of the point. It's actually Priestess who has this the worst: Her current stance, like the Archer and Hippogriff Rider, looks like an attempt at a ready warrior's stance with its nocked arrow, but the lowered posture just looks like skittish fear, almost fight-or-flight. Contrast Reign of Chaos: Back absurdly erect, bow thrust forward, her draw arm thrown back, like Washington Crossing the Delaware. It's a mythic amount of poise. Her shooting posture is like a statue of a god. Reforged, meanwhile, looks like flicking rubber bands.
They are so gorgeous,the most beautiful race IMO.

To be fair, it's the same reason as the beast master change. The shoulder Cape look is maeiv specfic, just as the dark cowl is only for rexxar. The hero models are now generic and the default option, instead of reusing the campaign models like with vanilla wc3.

wow as an ne main i was so anxious because i didn’t like the previous races esp human and orc felt very subpar in a lot of areas or flat out worse but night elves feel like they got the most love and also have a lot more team color represented by them which is both aesthetically nice and gameplay as well. i’m so happy night elves look amazing but ig it’s kind of difficult to mess them up too much
i think part of why night elves look so great is because everything feels well proportioned at first glance and the colors on them are so vibrant whereas the other races have a lot of units that look completely washed out, plus the units look distinct enough to not get lost in the melee or mistaken for something else and the heroes actually look like heroes which is more than i can say for the human hero units
