I think making the granny square is therapy. No thought involved and it us fast. Although I only work this stitch once or twice a year. Thank you for the great video. Look forward to more😊

I suggest wrapping a piece of string around 2 fingers once, crossed them and than pull the end of the string inside the loop and pull around your hook (sorry if that didn't make sense!)

this is the 4th granny square tutorial video I've watched and every single one has brought me to tears. I can't figure it out. i have no idea what "loop" to put my hook through because I have no idea what a loop looks like. There's so many loops on the chain which one am I even supposed to start with. I replayed the first three mins of this video like 6 times and dont understand anything, im so upset

You can join them together to make anything! Blankets, scarves, cowls, bags, bookmarks and ear rings - I’ve even seen crochet animals :)
