I love granny squares so this one just delights me! Love the lacy look. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful granny! Your tutorial is spot on!! 🤗 just noticed that you’re doing a rectangle granny soon!! Can’t wait!! 💕
Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed this! You can find the Granny Rectangle version here: ruclips.net/video/VJQNcZVOMro/видео.html
Enjoy!
I could never do a granny square bc it’s super hard. But this tutorial was really easy and I actually did one!
woohoo! Glad to hear that:)
This is very pretty! First time seeing this version of the granny square. Thanks for your video and instructions. Take care,

Thank you for the comment Kris! So happy you are enjoying this take on the granny square:)
Very COOL square! 😎
I know! It's fun isn't it? Nice to connect with you Michelle:)
I'm not a fan of the granny square but I really like this one and want to try it soon.
Wonderful!!! Glad you found one you liked:)
I love this! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
😍 Me too!;)
Would there be a way to turn this stitch into a star? It would need decreases and increases, and im trying to figure how it could work
Ooh! What a great idea! Yes, there would need to be increases and decreases. I will work this out and create a tutorial for you;) Stay tuned!
I want to do this as a continous granny. should in flip and go in the opposite direction to keep it square.
By continuous Granny, do you mean you want to keep going to create a larger square? You can keep goign as is to make it bigger with the same method. Although you absolutely could flip your work. It will just have a slightly different texture which wiuld be very pretty too. Hope that helps!
Love the lacey pattern!!!
I was wondering could you do some solid GS in with the lacey ones?
Absolutely! I think that would add such a pretty texture to the design. Beautiful idea!
@@TheStitchSessions that's going to be my next WIP...thanks so very much!!!!!!
@@terryriley7490 Woohoo! :)
I have tried this but for some reason my squares keep leaning over like it’s been twisted in the middle, do you have this when the square gets bigger ?
Possibly? If you could send me a picture of your work, I could probably tell you what's happening in your case. Are you able to email me a pic? Just send it to info@crochetcrafty.com or you can DM me on instagram if you are on that platform. I'm at @the_stitch_sessions.
It’s because she didn’t mention that 4 DC go into the corners…she keeps saying to do mesh stitch ch2mesh but she didn’t clarify to place 4 in each corner…
Can this be done in the rectangle?
Indeed! funny you should mention that. There is mesh rectangle in the works very very soon. Stay tuned;)
