Guys over at FTSpeed don't forget to add this and the borla video to your gr86 exhaust Bible playlist. I missed these yesterday when I went through them all. Cheers!
I have this system on my 86, great starter Exauhst if you aren’t looking to break the bank. Of course not the best sounding one out there but again it’s for a budget.
Just got this installed, not much drone on normal driving. I think it's loud enough to not be obnoxious, I don't want to sound like Vin diesel coming down the street.
a quiet catback with with a catless front pipe. Check out HKS hi power V2 single exit on the Gen 2s. Poppy/gargly sound profile doesnt match well with "quiet" though lol
Corsa or HKS single v2 exhaust would be your best bet honestly. If you put a big resonator toward the headers with no muffler or a small muffler, you get a smooth sound, but a lot of volume. If you have no resonator or a small resonator and big muffler you will have less volume, but the tone will be more gurgly. Again go check the HKS single V2. I think you'll like it. It's louder, but no rasp or drone and it does sound "gurgly".
The audacity of this dogwater company is hilarious. For those that don't know, Kevin Vo was fired from FT Speed on 12/13/2022 in a disgusting way. Buy your parts from somewhere else than FTSpeed or Subispeed folks; support somewhere that supports its employees and treats them with respect. An 8-year, passionate, face-of-your company employee deserves the respect and courtesy of at least a conversation being had about any conflicts of interest or things that would necessitate termination of employment if continued. To outright fire him out of the blue without giving him a heads up or notice that something he is doing/saying will not fly and deny him the ability to make an informed decision on what his options are going forward reflects poorly upon FTSpeed/Subispeed. In a game where you just play the middleman, I will gladly take my business elsewhere to some other middleman that isn't FTSpeed/SubiSpeed; there are a plethora of other options out there that can access more or less the same catalogue of items. FTSpeed/Subiespeed did Kevin Vo dirty, when Kevin Vo was a SIGNIFICANT part of why the company is as successful as it is today - hopefully yall's marketshare takes a deserving hit and Kevin lands somewhere that will treat him better and be worthy of the good-business his passion and efforts bring forth.
@@pauloalves6487 decibels test went to 104 106 territory. and I doubt it would be super accurate. However I think it would be OK. This isn't as loud as some V8 Holden or Ford.
these exhaust videos have been making my days as of lately!
Same here, great job Kevin!

@David Gotelli IMO the AWE Touring/track edition depending on how loud you want it
Stock exhaust with UEL headers is best sounding brz. Fully honest.
May I recommend a binaural mic. So we get that stereo headphone experience

Try the HKS single exit V2 for that "rumble" sound. Please.
How loud is the v2? And does it pop and crackle when you downshift?
Which one is louder this one or the borla?
Hks hi power spec L ii dual exit. I can’t seem to find a good review of this exhaust
whats the quietist exhaust with the most backfire (i prefer a gargle 'pop' more than it sounding like firecrackers

Borla S-Type

I got my catalytic destroyed by road debris, any aftermarket available? Is taking forever to get an OEM piece.
An Ark Performance exhaust would be nice

I have this exhaust paired with a PLM catless UEL header and it’s the perfect deep subie rumble
I’m actually want to hear it, got a social media where you got recording?
@@kevinnesto6999 it’s in my channel!
@@skuhzee I just noticed it was you! 😭 Omg yes I watched your videos. The setup you have is 👌 same one I want!
@@kevinnesto6999 thanks brother!
@@skuhzee headers are pretty pricey 😭 do you know where I can get them for better price?
HKS Hi Power spec L or L II please!
does have a small range of drone though in the cabin.
Making my obligatory Corsa exhaust bible video request but this time also tacking on a request for the Fujitsubo!!
Australia has a max 90db law at both startup and 75%/3000rpm. Otherwise its an on the spot $1000 fine and defect notice to fix it and a court date lol
So can you have it?

Sounds pretty good for the price
Perrin Exhaust!!!!
It sounds like the only good sound is toward to top of the rev range, the bottom end sounds gutless/flat sounding and air'y imo
I’m bummed cus I read that it came set for pop and gurgle but I get mine 😔 Maybe cus I’m auto?
Ya auto I believe can’t do that. I don’t know if you use the paddles maybe it can.
sounds like a civic, i Like it
good sound
GReddy Evo GT
Still technically saving up for mine...which is a bit of a laugh in _this_ economy. ^_^;
Drone is horrendous on this one btw
Headers on this car?
