I got one of those phones.. not to bad. I have been thinking about something. I've noticed the temperature of the phones when mining makes a huge difference. I've been keeping my phones around 75 degrees Celsius. I made a cabinet that holds 50 phones and all the hardware. This cabinet keeps the phones .375 inches apart. That raised the temperature to 81 degrees Celsius. I wired my fans where I could slow them down or speed them up to regulate the temperature. I found out at 84 degrees, 50 phones went up 11MH using less watts by regulating the temperature. I will make a video once I have more data

Are you saying that a hotter phone got you a higher hashrate? This goes against everything I thought was true...

Hi I bought one orbic joy but is not active and is locked to Verizon and I can not go to main screen is not activated and need to be activated but I can't not do it so you know how I can by pass activation screen ? Thanks
There is a way to do it, but idk... you could go to Verizon and ask for them to pop in a sim for you if you ask nice enough.
I bought a couple on ebay just like that, and i dont even live in USA. Had the same problem. Just pop in any active sim card, itll try a couple of times and when it sees it cant connect itll give you an option to activate through wifi and thats it
There is a way to do it without a sim card... Were you still needing help?

To get past the Verizon start up is just use a sim card from an active verizon phone.
That's it, just bought a new Orbic in a sealed box for cheap and its locked. So I'll bum my brothers sim card for a minute. Thanks!
Does it work with an used inactive sim also?

My Xeon Dual 2x E5--2686v4 36 Core - 72 Threads
I can use a maximum of 58 threads in the config, more is not possible.

I start mining with 57 threads, see 1142 MH/s on the monitor
If I make 58 threads mining starts with 700kh/s 800kh/s :-)

Honor 8a is garbage, cant mine on it.
Thats weird, looking at the specs of GMSArena, it seems like it should be able to. The operating system maybe 32bit and thats why you can't mine. You could look for a tutorial on how to get a custom ROM on the phone.
