Thanks for the Video! But is there any chance that i can start up the "screen -r" also after reboot? Without typing in the Console, maybe with an script or something?
Great video and helped me in setting up my Pi. The only issue I have is when I have to turn off my computer that has putty, the mining stops. Any suggestions besides leaving on my computer all the time?
@@BloxyLabs I have a wattage meter connected to my pi. While mining, it pulls 9.5 watts. No Unfortunately not. You need a Raspberry Pi 5, Orange Pi 5 or an Orange pi zero 3. But you can do other nice things with a Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 ;) Check my other videos.

Thanks! If you use Luckpool simply place 'hybrid' in your password field to enable Hybrid Solo Mining. I think you have to replace the 'x' with 'hybrid' in the command line. You can read more on this on the bottom of the following page: luckpool.net/verus/connect.html
@@BloxyLabsThanks for the quick answer! Yes I meant Luckpools hybrid mode. I thought I would find a setting for the pool password in config.json part but it seems like no such setting exist in that config.

It depends. If you are only going to mine, you might be better off buying a cheap mobile phone, but if you also plan to do other things than mining with the device, an RPI5 or Orange Pi 5 is an interesting option.

I think the mining keeps running in a screen session. Try to reconnect to the session the next time you login to your pi with the command: screen -r

how come this doesn't work with raspberry pi 4?

I don't have a raspberry pi 4 so this is a guess. In the config.json file I suggest you change the number of threads from 8 to 4.
