great video. question im still a learning, but for every phone you buy. do you have to buy a token before you can mine verus? so if i have 40 phones ill have to buy 1 or 40 tokens before i can mine?
Hey, I've been mining on a couple phones and just tried to set up a pc tonight but I can't figure out how to connect the wallet I had created on the phones to the windows verus program. I'm a noob and I can't find it anywhere, any advice?

One comment on picking the fastest connection. If the URL is the same, but only the portnumber differs, you should pick the port that is most suitable for phone mining.
Not all pools have dedicated ports for phone mining (low difficulty), so checking the pool website helps.

By far hands down the best crypto tutorial I have ever seen since I got into crypto about six months ago. Learned early don’t trust anyone as far as one on one. Learned fast how serious they were about sharing pass phrase. Anyway water under the bridge.

As convienient and easy as it is to set up a Verus miner, i realize this could be many people's first introduction to crypto, so I wanted to try to make sense out of everything in the simplest way possible. @@PennyProspects i had the miner installed and correctly. Not the most optimal server (been changed ) but it was over 9 hours and nothing transferred to my wallet. The description made it sound like it was being transferred in real time. Thanks to your video I saw where my balance was on the pool website.

I believe there's actually a version of the miner made just for Windows. Just go to the same website as in the video and follow the same steps, but there should be an option for windows mining on the website instead of mobile/android.

S6 and S7 should be fully compatible as far as I know. And yes, it has to be a 64-bit processor and 64-bit ROM

The only thing I can think of immediately is to change the pool and see if it works, try one of the official verus pools, if those don't work you can try luckpool as well.
As far as the discharging status, that is completely normal, it just means your phone is not connected to a charger.
Be sure to give the phone a few minutes to try to connect. It might help to restart the phone as well as your modem/router to refresh your network.
So what do I do if it don't' start, like it keeps saying retry in 30 seconds, and it won't mine. I mined on a different wallet just to see, but when I put it to mine it won't mine.

Technically, you should be able to, but in my experience it never works right, and the mining ends up stopping. In my experience, it's best to mine when you are not using the phone!

You only need one wallet. For all your other devices, just download the miner and put in the same wallet you used for the first one

I have an iphone 11 and it wouldnt work tried several times following where you download and the raw latest version changed settings and each time i opened it once downloaded it was nothing like no actual file tried going onto google to do straight off the pangz app still no luck

If after a couple days you don’t get any coins, try another pool, I’m currently using the pool on the video and it’s about 0.01 everyday 24h more or less, there is a list of pools as well if you Google it.

You only need to set up a Wallet one time. On your other devices just download the Verus Miner app and put in the same wallet address as your first one. When you look at the pool in the website like I show towards the end of the video, it will show all of your devices in one spot mining to the same wallet, just make sure they are also mining on the same pool.

There should be an option sometime after clicking get started that says something along the lines of "recover existing wallet" and you will need your 24 word pass code go sign back in

Why would my phone not be working
I left my phone for mining with these instructions the miner works but there is nothing on the account so it is empty why does it not want to top up the balance from the miner
How long were you mining for? It takes a while, sometimes you'll get a payout once per day. And some pools have a minimum payout so it could take anywhere between a solid few hours of mining and up to 24 hours later before you get paid. I would check the pool you are mining in and check your unpaid balance like I did towards the end of the video. Also double check you put your wallet address in correctly so that your earnings are actually being sent to you!
