Sweet!!! You Could also create a single Google account to store the 3 original files & connect to that account during setup to download the files. Once finish disconnect the Google account and continue the install. Will save time when you’re doing several phones..

Hey Retro Mike, great video. Thanks! I am not seeing people address their charging situation, specifically what chargers they are using. I've used a couple of different 10-12 port standard USB chargers, but I wasn't sure what the experts use/suggest. There certainly aren't a lot of options for multi-port USB-C chargers out there. Thanks in advance.

How can I monitor the temp of the device using this method?
The apk miner that we get from VerusBox has that GUI where we can see the hash and the temp. So, I was wondering if I there is a way to access that sort of info using this method.

Hi. There is an android app called Ampere that you can install. It will show you the battery temps in real-time. I may cover it in a future video.

I like the fact that you just rip into the box.
I followed all the steps, phone starts to mine but then says stratum interrupted and UserLand open another session and the phone keeps opening UserLand sessions up to the max of 8 then I have to exit UserLand. Any advice?

i get the error "error in TightVNC Viewer: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not respond properly respond after a periosd of time, or established connection failed..". the vnc server is up and running with all the permissions granted in the android. any suggestions? thanks
Hello gyus , can you please told me how i can create and run crontab with userland over android. The session i started automaticaly but the cron job "reboot ~/ccminer/start.sh" don't run after reboot of device. Thanks in advance

It worked for remote access for my Android phone at first but now I get this message: "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." What can I do to fix this? The IP address is still the same - no change.
Retro mike, how long have you managed phone mining in general? i've run a half a dozen phones for planetwatch and over the course of a year i kept having issues with expanding batteries. Wondering if you overcome a solution? i keep the phones connected to power all the time but I've even tried keeping them on a kasa switch that cycles on/off every four hours. any tips?
Any idea if this increases compatibility on older phones? I have 2 old Samsung's that won't install the pangz lab version

In your opinion, would there be a downside to use the A04 instead of A03?
The A04 has slightly lower clock speed on 4 of it's cores compared to the A03S. Could result in slightly lower hashrate, but probably not too noticeable. I would say it comes down to price. If buying new, I can get A03S's for $50 and A04's are $100
I haven't personally tested an A04, so I'm just guessing on the hash according to spec sheets. I would say whichever one is cheaper if you are buying. If you already have it, I would say use it.
@RetroMikeTech Thank you! Strangely I've found A04 cheaper than A03 here. And some places don't even sell A03. Will have to ask if they can lower the price when buying multiple, otherwise I think the amazon ones in your link are cheaper, even with shipping to Denmark
@@RetroMikeTech I noticed that the pools has been changed since you recorded this video. I did a fork on github and there are some changes to what you show on your screen. Most notably are the pools and the "pass"."x". Should this be changed? Is the "luckpool" valid? Should I change api-allow?

Is there some trick to enable copying to clipboard and pasting? When I select the curl command it doesn't show up in the clipboard and when I right-click it doesn't offer the paste option. What am I doing wrong? Did I miss a step?
Make sure you only one 1 VNC window opened and make sure you have the terminal session up before copying it. You should then see a little popup about it being copied
I've had issues with the copying working if I had multiple VNC windows opens on the computer

where do i name the phone so i can keep track of it? it says noname but i cant find anything like that in the config file
It depends on the pool your are using, but you should be able to put a dot and device name after the wallet address.
i.e., "xxxxx.phone1"

@@corneliusfast1468 you’ll want to get the VerusCoin wallet. You can get it from their website or get it from an exchange such as TradeOgre.

@@corneliusfast1468 depending on which mining pool you are using, you may want to change the password. ZergPool would need something like c=VRSC. Other pools, x is fine.
Did I miss the part where it VNC autostarts with no intervention?
I get the pop up to start VNC, but it won't fully start without clicking the start cast button
so did i mess it up adding wifi before set up screen?
It’s fine. It may download some addition apps, but no big deal. Usually don’t set it up to mitigate what gets downloaded during that setup process.

There's a few different spots you have to do it to fully disable it. I'll upload a video this week on it.

if you are using zergpool, then yes. If you are using a different pool, then you can just set the password field as "" or "x"
@@RetroMikeTech hey so i placed a router fan under the phones and i‘m getting consistent 4.5 mh/s. I removed the back of one of the A03s and it gets 4.6 mh/s. Without the fan the phones heat up i guess and only give me 3 mh/s or less.
