I think you could send the process to the background with ctrl + z and then bg in the terminal. or start the process with & at the end so it starts in the background

People mention high transaction fees, which is true. But if you're using this as a backend on a AI a fee of 20,50 or even 100 USD is nothing if you're renting for lets say 1 month for 3k USD. Still cheaper than the alternatives.
However I agree that for 12 hour rental the fee is high but even then, to get like 6x 4090s for 30 USD + fee 20 USD = 50 USD for 12h is still good price considering the compute power and short rental.
