MX5s are awful , I sold mine after driving to Tenby from Birmingham and it cost £120 in petrol in 2018 prices today that would cost £200 ? I COULD FLY FOR £229 from GATWICK ????? These MX5s are a joke at 65mph screaming engine doing 18 mpg on any motorway begging for 70 mph which it can't manage ? i sold mine on Ebay to dump it ! Have an SLK now doing 40 mpg and cruises at 90 mph .....

This is hilarious. I run a Eunos Roadster, and love it to bits. I know Chris isn't keen on them, and fair play, he drives (and owns) machinery of a far higher caliber. But the banter and mickey-taking is great fun. Cheers for making a great film.
Nakke144 156 not only one of the most beautiful saloons and station wagons (imho)..but in its time it had one of the best chasis of all segment.. it wad FWD or AWD and its ony problem was not havign a great turn circle for parking... but its chasis was better than a E46 beamer
I sold my jag xk8😢and now Im looking at a mk 3mazda as a convertible ride. It'll have to be a 2006 edition with reasonable miles for what Im spending....but there's so many variants....1.8 , 2L, sports,.......Hard to know what I can get by without to save money. Please get a "Dead Cat" to cover your mic from wind noise. Would have loved to kept watching but I had to stop because the wind noise was unbearable to my ears. (do not actually kill a cat. The big furry thing on a blimp that goes around a mic is called a "dead cat". I even disected a fluffy toy and used part of it on a camera with an integrated mic. #neat #tricks ) But Chirs Harris is funny, and you are funny. Well Clarkson is a guy that can't be told to shut up and ignore something (the reason he got sacked) and that's why some people hate him.
