My wife has PCOS and we had to get fertility help to have our first baby. About a year ago I saw studies that showed Inositol improving insulin sensitivity and hormones levels. So, she started taking it regularly. She takes a myo/D cyro form and she said that she saw improvement in the severity of her hormonal acne. Well, to top it off, she is now pregnant with our second child and I have reason to believe that it is in part due to the Inositol.
That's wonderful! I know that a lot of women who have PCOS say it has helped them get pregnant, so there is definitely something to this. What is great is that it is safe and affordable! A lot of women who take inositol also take berberine. Both help with insulin resistance. Congratulations on expanding your family!
On a different note, one of my children, went through a sudden episode of severe OCD with ticks a very strong and debilitating compulsions, which our psycologist explained are due to an overridden amygdala. Cut story short, my daughter took her first dose one afternoon and by the evening she said she didn't know why, but she felt better, and that was the start to a calmer girl who was now able to put in practice her therapy and in three months ticks and all compulsions were gone. So thankful to God for this supplement! it was a real gift!
I take Myo-Inositol, 2,000 mg, along with D-Chiro-Inositol, 50 mg, and L-Arginine, 1,000 mg. They’ve helped tremendously with my health, especially diabetes.
Hi Lanna - Have you found these in a single (combination) supplement, or are you taking these individually? Do you have any data regarding its impact on your blood sugars (if you test)? Thanks!

I don't know. I've used it to sweeten my coffee at times. Often I've used it in 12 grams doses back when my blood glucose was much less controlled. It blocks "panic" attacks.
Interesting. I think some people just respond differently to things. When I was out on Ativan for PTSD and panic attacks, it made my panic attacks worse bc I felt drugged.
