    *LYRICS - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing*
    ------------
I could stay awake just to hear you breathing
Watch you smile while you are sleeping
While you're far away and dreaming
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment forever
Where every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure
I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna to fall asleep
    'Cause I'd miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream would never do
    I'd still miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing
Lying close to you, feeling your heart beating
And I wonder what you're dreaming
Wonder if it's me you're seeing
    Then I kiss your eyes
    And thank God we're together
'Cause I just wanna stay with you in this moment forever
    Forever and ever
I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna to fall asleep
    'Cause I'd miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
    I'd still miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing
I don't wanna miss one smile
I don't wanna miss one kiss
Well, I just wanna be with you
Right here with you, just like this
I just wanna hold you close
I feel your heart so close to mine
And just stay here in this moment
For all the rest of time, yeah, yeah
I don't wanna close my eyes
    I don't wanna fall asleep
    'Cause I'd miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream would never do
    I'd still miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream would never do
    I'd still miss you, baby
    And I don't wanna miss a thing

The Petersen's are still on a roll! Another song - another 100K RUclips views! This time it only took 3 days! But in all fairness, Ellen did have a little helper that may have sped things up a little! Best out take of all times! AND now I have a favorite Petersen / Aerosmith song! Great work guys!!! Congratulations Ellen!

This sounds like a sweet lullaby. By the arrangement of music its song has a love song and a lullaby. And through the song I was impressed Ellen sang like she talked to her baby gently.

That was a great performance. The vocals were wonderful; the dobro always adds a special touch; I love to hear @katiepetersen when she gets to make use of all five strings on that fiddle; and Mama, as always...pulls everything together with that wonderful sounding bass. One day, I hope to get to hear you guys play live.

Music has the extraordinary ability to heal and soothe the soul. Its harmonious melodies and captivating rhythms have a profound impact on our emotions. Music at its best, is something we feel. The Petersens are that rare breed of artists that help us feel and then help us heal.

This was a high school song for my wife and me and something we sang to all four of our kiddos when they were little too. We recently watched Armageddon with our eldest (now 14) and she remarked, "How could they take a lullaby and make it THAT kind of love song?" : )

What a lovely song. That fiddle solo was really something! Thanks for this rendition. A suggestion for another time: “Who Will Sing For Me” is a tremendously beautiful song, I especially love the recording of Earl Scruggs playing it with Doc Watson and Ricky Skaggs. I would be delighted to see a version from The Petersens.

What to say...one of the sweetest songs ever written, especially dear to the hearts of my generation, now played in the sweetest way possible and brought to new heights. I already wanted to say that I love you all, boys and girls, but then the easter egg came...and put the biggest smile on my face. My children are in their middle teens now, and I already fondly think about when they were so tender and innocent. And the way she touched the strings of both mandolin and guitar spells a lot about the fact that Music is powerful in this One :-). Love from Italy and God bless you all, especially the little angel.
