My hope is that everyone who is enjoying this will take a moment to really listen and appreciate Mom back on the bass. She is a pro at holding down the low end and it's easy to overlook her massive contribution to this wonderful sound. Way to go Mom. I for one am listening.
Thank you, Petersens, I really needed this. This week at the cathedral where I work there were riot police patrolling the cathedral precinct to keep us and our beautiful building safe. Mercifully, trouble stayed away. We need to hold in our hearts Miss Julianne’s words, ‘No matter what the darkness brings, the Lord gives us a certain kind of hope that’s found on the morning side.’
I will negotiate many things but I will never sacrifice my relationship with the lord no matter how many try to take it away...the more evill I see the stronger my faith in God becomes. God strong!
My husband and I saw you last night at the Backyard Bluegrass Festival in Sullivan, Illinois. Thank you for your beautiful, lovely performance. You provide also a calm peaceful space we all so desperately need at this time. I’m sure this comes from the Lord whom you obviously revere. Thank you again so very much!
I am sure that if we could bottle Katie's smile we could cure many of this World's ills. Beautiful performance Petersens. Thank You, you guys are amazing.
Bluegrass has never sounded closer to heaven than sitting back listening to one of your sets, Lord bless you all to the morning side and have a great time in Europe, greetings from Perth Western Australia 🪕🐨🎻
I am from down under Western Australian...when woke up this morning in dark cold air something me to look up your band and see what your family is up to...a concert of hope is what I found...
Italian, living in Germany, watching your sweet concert during vacation in Sicily at 5 AM. Honestly not my type of music, but I love your talent, creativity, and all these positive vibes you create. Thank you very much for this performance!
Your music has helped me through some difficult times. My dad passed away in February this year and he also enjoyed your music so much. Blessings all the way from South Africa!
So enjoying you here in the deep rural woods of Oregon! I'm so thankful to our Lord an Savior for giving y'all the talent and desire to honor Him with what He has blessed you with. Thank you!
Southern Colorado here,,, At my 70th birthday I am simply astounded at the young talent in bluegrass music today. I was blessed to be able to play and sing with Bill Monroe when I was 15 years old at the Livonia Bluegrass Festival in 1968. Y'all all got more talent than we had back then.
My seven year old daughter and four year old son watched today and thought it a terrible injustice that no one was there to applaud after each song so they made sure to do it themselves. They even added a "Get It Mama!" or two.
Here are some suggestions for more Gospel songs to consider for a cappella: It is Well with My Soul (when peace like a river attendeth my way) Just a Closer Walk with Thee Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
from Sacramento . we were an Air Force family and only once did we ever stay more than three years in any one place. God and family were always there too comfort us

I can’t believe how consistently excellent this band is. None better nor ever will be. Many many kudos. Petersens.
