Well Petersens, let me share a story from my Aussie home about the effects you wonderful humans have on our lives. Last evening I took very ill and after some tests today i was given some life changing news which left me winded and deflated mentally. Well after moping about the house this morning i turned on my RUclips favourites and this video showed top of the list. I wondered if your beautiful sounds would brighten my day so clicked the play icon. For the next 80mins i sat, listened and by the 10 min mark i felt an amazing sense up uplifting and euphoria take hold of me and by the 60min section my heart was filled with hope and admiration for all that is good in our crazy world. I cried, I smiled, i laughed out loud and i dreamed of a better place in better times because of You All. If my world was to end right now then I'm certain it would end with a heart filled with love for how you lifted my day into euphoric levels and my journey would have been all the richer spiritually because of my discovering all of You and all you do..Thanks and much love and admiration from this old aussie.
Sometimes, God test our spirit on how far can we handle challenges in life.. sometimes we feel God push us to the limit to the point when we are ready to throw the towel.. and yet at some point God would give us a glimpse of hope.. ( something like this great band that makes our day bright) to remind us as if saying ' My child, just hang on.. I'm just making you strong'. - By the way I'm here again for the third time watching this awesome concert. When i read your story.. God bless Wayneo.
Just found the Petersen's on You Tube February 2023. Wow, the music is so excellent and professional - never heard such great music of this high standard ever before. Hoping very much as just finding the Petersen's - more music will be coming soon on You Tube. The Petersen's should be marketed Worldwide as they have an immense talent and should be on a World Stage. Keep up the splendid work. James (United Kingdom)
OK here's the thing, a few weeks ago I thought blue grass was something horses ran on. Didn't think, at my age, I could learn and appreciate so much something new I knew nothing about. These young people are so talented and in love with their calling I enjoy their music more by the day. God bless them all.
To see this musical family and Emmett is to again believe our US of A still has God, Family & Country written her heart! Can't love this show TOO MUCH!
The entire Petersen Family is great, but I gotta add that Ellen's got a one-in-a-million voice, and the way she sings adds a real life or personality to it!! In other words, she puts her heart into it...
It's so effortless to her that it's almost easy to overlook. I've gotten called out for having her version of Jolene on my Playlist instead of Dolly. Im like "I just like this one better. "
Her "Beulah Land" rendition is out of this world. And I'm not sure if it was Matt who went really low on that one at 58:45, but if he did, that was truly amazing. I always thought of him as a tenor.
Amarillo by Morning have always been one of my favorite song by George Strait people need to go to Branson to see one of their shows they are truly amazing.
This family band is such a beautiful inspiration. I love that they recognise our God, our Lord Jesus Christ who guided them and enabled them to so enrich our spirits. God bless you all from Dublin, Ireland.
I am a punk rock guy, 47 years old, but darn there are few things that I appreciate more than true love of music and family. You have both. Doesn't matter the genre, love wins.
Thanks to the incredible invention of the internet one of my favorite bands is a local band from 2,000 miles away. You have the talent to get rich going nation or world wide but the fact that you stay local makes you that much more special. I hope I can make it out there with my family one day to see yall in person.
I've never heard of them, yet I LOVE them!! I LOVE ALL OF THEIR SONGS!! Their John Denver video played after a GREAT Fox Valley Folk Festival virtual concert. WOW! What a TALENTED family! I've never been to Branson, yet, now I think I want to go and see their live show!
I just love this family to death!!!! When it seemed like music in the 21st century was all but dead and gone, along comes the Petersen family into my life. The chemistry that happens with this family is magical and I loved the humorous aspect of "The Ring Song"! And the thing about this family is that they are not phony or contrived...they are as genuine as the day is long! Thank you so much, The Petersen's, for bringing so much warmth and light to the rest of us! You are an inspiration to us all! God Bless you all!
The cover of Glen Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind" by Julianne Petersen is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. I am sure that Glen Campbell (God rest his soul) hearing this cover would rest gentle on his mind.
Just in case you never knew this - Glen Campbell was one of the most amazing guitarists in history. I pretty much only knew of him b/c he was a regular cast member on show glorifying stupid southern people in the 1970s called "Hee Haw". Everyone under the age of 50 will have to do an internet search to understand what I am talking about. But - I learned 20-30 years later, that one of the "mindless blond bimbos" on the show actually has a genius level IQ... and then heard that most of whom I considered the best guitarists EVER... credited Glen Campbell... which broke my brain... so I did some searches... and had my mind blown. That dude was TALENTED. So - Julianne... you done good. You tackled one of the music world's genius of geniuses songs... and performed it very respectfully and competently. (STUDY HARD... I know you are a student - REMEMBER "The Glory Of GOD is INTELLIGENCE)... then go knock the crowds over with your voice, and your talent... for fun and money. Just remember that singing is a hobby, a pleasurable hobby... in which your family bring many of us joy and happiness. ; )
Her voice is definitely unique. I'm not a huge fan of female singers but Ellen and Julianne are 2 of my favorite of all time. I think Juliannes uniqueness slightly outweighs Ellens effortless, objectively great vocal performance.
@@Smokey0284 Julianne's voice really stuck out to me because when I first heard it, it had the same impact on me as the first time I heard Allison Krauss back in the 80's before she went big time mainstream.
I've been watching and listening to the Petersen's on youtube for the last two hours and I haven't had enough yet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful music and your lovely smiles.
I’m gonna make sure to see you on a future USA trip, top notch musicians and such a fantastic vibe, this is the USA I want to see more of. Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
The girl singing gentle on my mind has such a pretty voice. It's hard to describe it's somewhere between a little bit of Dolly Parton Jeannie Seely and maybe Jewell. Her voice is definitely a beautiful instrument
Such a genuine show. I played in a show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and compared 'to this show it was so cheesey. Full of impersonators and imitators. You guys are the real deal and I am a true fan. Such a gentle spirit and great talent. Keep making music.
@@gailsfoodandstuff I was the drummer at the Tennessee Shindig on the parkway. It later became the Biblical Times, which did not use live musicians. Everyone scattered to find other jobs. I was a retired high school band director, so I went back into teaching. I still play everyday though and would love to play again for a living in the right place. I never had time to visit the tourism department. Our show played 6-7 times a week, so I really didn't have time to enjoy the Smoky Mountains.
Well, I turned 71 this summer and in my time, have listened to many, many genres of music. ‘Finding’ you guys 15 months ago in lockdown, has been a revelation that my musical library has been lacking. But no more, you give me great personal pleasure in the perfection and variety in the music you give us. It’s the wonderful talent you all have, the pleasure you show working with each other without anyone of you ‘starring’ or hogging the limelight. I am an atheist but love your gospel music, I don’t believe you need a god to appreciate great talent and music. I’d finally like to say thanks again for all the pleasure you bring me and please keep doing exactly what you do. I wish you all good health and keep play the huge range of songs in your inimitable bluegrass style. May your god bless you all.
All are so great that complimenting any one seems unfair. Regardless, I think the CMA Awards have never had anyone on stage as gorgeous and talented as Ellen.
Listen to y'all singing and now I want to move there, I would never miss a show, y'all are so amazing and talented, I've never wanted to go to a concert before now, God bless y'all
No doubt God has blessed each of you with your own unique talent... but when you come together and combine those talents... in love as a family... seeking to glorify God... it's just pure joy! Thank you!
Your vocals, your instrumental performances, your talents, your introductions to songs, your humor, all rolled together in a blessed family, is by far a Godsent gift, and thank God, you all share your talents with the world. Thank you all so very much! Love The Peterson's! ❤️
One of the things I love most about you guys is the way you distribute the solos so unselfishly. Every one of you gets a chance in the spotlight, and y'all support each other and help each other to shine your brightest. That's so rare and so special. Really warms my heart to see/hear.
I was so fortunate to watch the Petersens in one of their concerts in Branson. Also being able to meet in persons the siblings was a priceless memory. Talking to Katie was a dream come true. Kudos.
Emmett was this song a tribute to Willie Nelson? LOL I can not tell you how much I enjoyed this show via my home in Florida. Thank you to each and every one of you. It is so nice to hear good music from such a nice family. Thank you very much....
193 / 5000 I've been a musician since I was a child. My uncle is one of the best sound engineers in our little European country, but for me, this is with all respect the best, best, best bluegrass band on the planet! :) ♥♥♥
Greetings from England. I’m a Christian musician and i only discovered you guys yesterday. Your music is just wonderful ..and girls your smiles melt my heart. God bless you all ❤️
Just saw them yesterday at branson. A wonderful performance!!! We got to meet each one afterwards. They are an amazing talented family. Going again this Christmas!
i love this family... 😍 this songs is pure happy for me. I have choice in 2am in night : Go sleep or watch this concert. Now is 3:30 am.😂.. beautiful voice. . 🙏🙏🙏greetings from Czech Republic, EU. 🤩
Thank you for posting the concert! The tones of Julianne singing 'Gentle On My Mind' - has been rolling in my head for days - what a rendition, best it's ever been done.
I was captivated the entire show after watching only a few seconds. I simply could not walk away even if I wanted to. The precision music delivery and stage presence by the entire band is impressive! You have a class act that shines in every aspect. Your vocal cohesiveness is stimulating, with such amazing harmony and intonation perfection. What I especially loved is your humble and gentle personalities. You play very well together and demonstrate total control in "sharing" the different solos and mixing stage activity. Each of you compliment the whole very well. I am amazed and give God the glory for what He has done in each of you. May each of you be greatly blessed in all your future endeavors, musical and all! B R A V O ! ! ! 🤗
grey wolf pass is a great song. i wanted to hear it again and knew it was on one of your concert videos but forgot which one. so I listened to all five of your Branson videos before I remembered it was at the theater. so i spent an enjoyable day listening to your music. most enjoyable and totally not a waste of time. thanks. we got a fair amount of snow so school was closed so a quiet day. ❤️👍
I really loved this kind of music as a young one, but eventually changed as years gone by, still i listen to country folk oldies cause it gives me nostalgic feeling of my younger years, Thanks for rekindling my enthusiasm to this kind of music.. by far I must say, you're my favorite bluegrass group, band if like.. Kudos Petersens. Thanks for the wonderful arrangement of covers and to your own masterpiece compositions. They somehow give light.
You girls an guys are really amazing I'm going threw some very tuff times been living in my car. When I here you'll sing it puts me in a better place. Thank you so very much🙏 take me home country road is my favorite to
Love your band, your family, your talent. I have told my family many times I wish we could have you all over for a Sunday after church lunch. I do hope we can get to Branson soon. Thank you for who you are and what you do with the gifts the Lord has given you.
Julianne has such a sweet voice in Gentle on my mind. I'm not really a emotional person but had to wipe a tear from my eyes. Bless you. Greeting from the Netherlands!
Can't decide who I love most in this group!!! What I can say, is that you all really do represent whats great about our world. It thrills me to read so many comment from other countries and languages.
In the words of Tigger, absotively, posilutely glorious! I keep finding new to me videos of y'all and am loving every one of you. Emmett is magical on the dobro, Julianne's voice is enchanting, Ellen is a master on the banjo and vocals are awesome, Nailed it on Blue! Katie's fiddle playing is unmatched, and Matt, well Matt is Matt. Just kidding Matt, your guitar skills are something I envy. Momma Petersen, you play that bass like it is a part of you. Blessings to each and every one of you from Oregon. Y'all bring so much joy to my old life, and I thank you for what you do in the name of The Lord!+-
Had to flip a coin..watch tiger baseball or this concert..guess which one won..great seeing you in concert..beautiful music every time I watch your shows
This family is just so talented! I have seen them in concert three times now out in Branson, Missouri! So nice to meet them afterwards! It is well worth the drive! Go see them!
THANK YOU for sharing your concert - I would dearly love to be there in person but as I live in Australia, it is unlikely to be possible for at least he foreseeable future but I feel blessed to have been able to watch you online, you are all a blessing to the world, not just Branson.
You kids are blowing my mind here! This is beautiful, and not exactly what I thought Blue grass was. A shame you were not around to change my brother's mind on the genre, but you sure have changed mine. I will leave you to it. God bless the whole band and good luck to you all!
Thank you for sharing this!! From the very 1st song (Shenandoah) I have tears of joy streaming down! Even though I'm sitting at my dining room table in front of my laptop, I am clapping and "whoopin' it up at every solo!! I Really Really enjoy your music!! By the way, Great Camera and audio work!!
I too, think this may be one of the best of your concert videos. SO much about it is perfect. I hope you’ll do more like it. You guys are a hidden treasure. I’m introducing people to you almost daily. I know how much you’ve meant to me since I found you about nine months ago. I know you get labeled as Bluegrass, but you are SO much more.❤️
Thank you, Petersens, for posting and making sharable this great show on RUclips. This makes me very thankful to be a part of your Patreon community, Love you guys!
Julianne - When you sing lead could you turn your microphone louder? You have an INCREDIBLE VOICE! It has this absolutely sublime quality and sounds like no one else! It's so pure and reminds me of mountain music. I don't want the instruments to drown out your divine sound.
I think she's a little stage shy, ever since she was a kid and her mom had to hold her hand on stage (ruclips.net/video/O0Qf5aRNGbw/видео.html). But up front and personal, she's a hoot. Watch her vlogs.

I reckon this is the most talented musical family in the country.....
Listen to Emmet Franz's family. They are probably equally talanted.
Saw this amazing family last night, 3-4-23. Soulful, energetic, gracious, lovely, beautiful, humorous, spiritual, professional, exceptional talent. Thank you, Petersen's. We'll never forget you.

Insanely "Jerry Douglas" great

They are wonderful! I found them In THE pandemic also. Many blessings to all of you. I listen while I make stained glass.
What a gentlemen you are to say god bless you all.
I was lucky enough to discover early on! such wonderful group, beautiful music & family.
Best country music talent in the world ... Thanks Petersens for your talents !
All are so great that complimenting any one seems unfair. Regardless, I think the CMA Awards have never had anyone on stage as gorgeous and talented as Ellen.
This is an unique band. There's nothing to compare. Each member full of talent. I listen to you all and I never become tired. It's really wonderful
It's called chemistry.
No kidding. I'm worried I will watch them all, then not have anything new to me for next time I watch one. The videos just go by so fast!
Me too! I could listen to y’all forever!
Isn't it so great to have a family that are so talented in their instruments and wonderful singing voices.
Listen to y'all singing and now I want to move there, I would never miss a show, y'all are so amazing and talented, I've never wanted to go to a concert before now, God bless y'all
Just wanted to thank the Petersen's , I am not a religious person but I do get a great amount of joy listening to your family .
Its never too late. Just sayin’. ;-)
what he said
One of the things I love most about you guys is the way you distribute the solos so unselfishly. Every one of you gets a chance in the spotlight, and y'all support each other and help each other to shine your brightest. That's so rare and so special. Really warms my heart to see/hear.
1.20 am here in the UK, I was going to bed but nope.............thanks for the great music guys, love and peace to all.
You are very lucky. At that time (2.20 in Italy) I was already in bed. 😴 Love and peace to you too! 👍

I've been a musician since I was a child.
God bless you all ❤️
Get to Amarillo.
@@cory7730 Ita along way to Amarillo
Oh my goodness thank you Petersens for sharing this with the RUclips fam!
Just saw them yesterday at branson. A wonderful performance!!! We got to meet each one afterwards. They are an amazing talented family. Going again this Christmas!
Great video. Highlight for me was "The Ring Song", as it showed off Katie's comedic side as well as her musicianship.
Best hour and twenty minutes i have spent in a really long time.
Thanks so much! The Petersens are a piece of the dream of the good old America I was told when I was a kid.
Roots is my favorite song! I'd love to see you live in concert.
Seeing the Petersens live is a bucket list item for me for sure.
Me too.
We were just there last Thursday afternoon. Your show was the best of the three we went to. You are amazing and a blessing!!

You guys are so amazing, getting to have Emmett is like cheating!
Just watched the best of the best family band, the Petersens, thank you all
Thank you for posting the concert! The tones of Julianne singing 'Gentle On My Mind' - has been rolling in my head for days - what a rendition, best it's ever been done.
Thank you Julianne for putting all of this on you tube ,,I don’t know how I could enjoy something this much without y’all
I was captivated the entire show after watching only a few seconds.
They are all so talented, but I have always loved dobro and that dobro player is legendary!
Emmett is a champion.
With all the craziness in the world it's a real delight watching the Peterson family perform. Thank you so much!!!
What a wunderful idea to post the concert on RUclips. Thanks very mutch 😍

Love your band, your family, your talent. I have told my family many times I wish we could have you all over for a Sunday after church lunch. I do hope we can get to Branson soon. Thank you for who you are and what you do with the gifts the Lord has given you.
Best virtual live concert I've ever attended by far. Crowdcast is quite a venue :)
Edit: Would love to see your Gospel show in a similar setting ♥️
I would love that too!
Absolutely loved this. I would also love to see a full gospel show.
I actually went there ( not trying to brag )
🌸 💙💙💙
Me, too. I'm pining for "Come to Jesus and Live".
I just discovered the Petersons this morning and what a wonderful surprise just before Christmas!
It was a pleasure to watch when you streamed it originally. It's great to see it again. Thanks Petersens
In the words of Tigger, absotively, posilutely glorious! I keep finding new to me videos of y'all and am loving every one of you. Emmett is magical on the dobro, Julianne's voice is enchanting, Ellen is a master on the banjo and vocals are awesome,
Nailed it on Blue! Katie's fiddle playing is unmatched, and Matt, well Matt is Matt. Just kidding Matt, your guitar skills are something I envy. Momma Petersen, you play that bass like it is a part of you. Blessings to each and every one of you from Oregon. Y'all bring so much joy to my old life, and I thank you for what you do in the name of The Lord!+-
What a blessing you all are for the United States! God bless!

Had to flip a coin..watch tiger baseball or this concert..guess which one won..great seeing you in concert..beautiful music every time I watch your shows
I start to love folk music after watching your performances
I didn't think it was possible, but the Petersens just get better every time! God bless you!
I saw them live very awesome show. If you go to Branson check them out very talented family. They all sing and play amazing.
The instrumental was fabulous!
Seen this show twice now....best show in Branson by far.
The absolut best familieband in the world. I love you wonderful people
Such a treat. Really enjoyed seeing this again. Any chance to see and hear you all is most appreciated. Stay safe and well.
Thank you for posting a full show from Branson! LOVED it! ❤
Beauty, brains, talent all wrapped in love. Powerful combination! ❤️
You are all so uplifting spiritually.
Heartfelt thank you 🙏
TY for your wonderful songs, for your performance and sympathy. I hope one day to see you live. Greetings from Italy.
I too, think this may be one of the best of your concert videos. SO much about it is
perfect. I hope you’ll do more like it. You guys are a hidden treasure. I’m introducing
people to you almost daily. I know how much you’ve meant to me since I found you about
nine months ago. I know you get labeled as Bluegrass, but you are SO much more.❤️
I wish I could get to see this band in person, they are so good......
Thank you, Petersens, for posting and making sharable this great show on RUclips. This makes me very thankful to be a part of your Patreon community, Love you guys!
Yes, thank you SO much!! I needed this!
Watch her vlogs.
y'all embody all that is still great about this country. Thank you and keep the faith.
