    You are the only one on the whole internet who has documented the drainage tube drip location. Thank you! Just need an actual visual of the drainage tube, but now know where to look above the tranny.

      Happy to hear it helped! Yeah the reason I started making these videos was that I hated the frustration of having to go through badly shot or half-explained videos, at times in languages I've never heard of... Sometimes I can bridge the knowledge gap, sometimes I can't but thanks for the good words! 💪

      Hello! @Adamdezsi, does it smell like pet dander a bit? I've changed all 5c filters on my 500 but that smell has me wanting to sell the damn car.

      To me it's like wet dog when it gets bad. Ac needs to run regularly to keep it OK but I still need to clean the system at least once a year.

      Right! That's the way mine smells!How long do you run your fan/car after spraying? & thank you for the vids & your very prompt reply on a vid of yours from a year ago. I really appreciate you, Brother.

    In a very humid environment (I live in south Florida), changing the filter and cleaning the evaporator coil eliminates the smell for about a week. There does not seem to be a fix, aside from turning off the ac compressor, and running the fan several minutes before turning off the car. I don't find this procedure to be viable, so I mostly drive my Chevrolet.

      I'm sorry to hear that. I'm in Southern California, not **that** humid or hot but it works for me. My wife's car gets pretty bad if she doesn't use the ac for a while though. BTW from what I read this is a huge problem with all the mercs from the same era.

    What is the cannister type thing under the glove box next to the filters?

      I'd guess it's the blower motor housing.

    Any idea how to remove the central 2 round nozzle air vents?

      They should clip straight off, but be very gentle, should be able to do it with your fingernails. Then there's four screws securing them.

    I just purchased a 2019 C300 convertible it has a mild Oder in the hvac ducts. Is the fix similar to the CLK video.
    Are you affiliated with Mercedes of Naples?

    When u spray the product in the air duct doesn't that get the bottom 2 small filter soaked wet ? ( and that's bad no)?

    • @adamdezsi
      @adamdezsi  Год назад +2

      The product will get into the charcoal filters only if you turn them on (that weird button on the right side of the ac controller) so if you keep it turned off while you spray you should be fine. Also the product is relatively low in volume, it shouldn't get anything *soaking* wet. I do this every spring - San Diego gets mild but humid winters so it gets bad mostly by spring - and I haven't had any extra issues. I also replace the charcoal filters every year.

    W208 as well or just W209?

    • @adamdezsi
      @adamdezsi  2 года назад

      That's a tough one, I never had a 208, but these cars are VERY similar.

      @@adamdezsi I don't see that button on my 208...

    • @adamdezsi
      @adamdezsi  2 года назад +3

      @@HC-cb4yp not even all 209s have the carbon filters, only the ones with active ac. If you don't have that same button on the right side of the panel you don't have those filters.
