recently i have just added my lexus is350 f-sport 2011 to the channel and in future i will be adding my 2001 yamaha yzf R1 2001 carby supersport bike lots of mods

in this video i show how to replace the cabin filter
but more importantly how to rid the bad smell coming from your air conditioning
now alot of ppl are mislead to beleive that if you change out your cabin filter it will get rid of the bad smell
that is incorrect
the bad smell comes from mould building on your evaporative core
mould build on the evaporative core overtime due to sweat particles in the air and odour, then moisture contributes creating the bad smell
so the only way to eliminate the smell is by using disinfectant and or using an a/c cleaning product

I would like to say a HUUUUGE THANK YOU for your videos. Recently bought a w204 myself, just like yours but white on white. It had some issues. I did brake job myself, fixed door handle (thanks for tutorial), replaced oil, fixed fog and front parking lamps. All done by myself, completely DIY, no prior experience. All was clear about how to do stuff because of your videos. Huge thanks man!! Now it's time to fight this annoying smell and we are good to goo!

Sprayed vent with Lysol and the smell went away 👍🏼

Imma do this.. I needed to do this years ago lol.. it's not bad but I use a car bomb every 3 months to make it gone, but this will make it completely gone
ye it will be gone ever since I did mine I have never had that problem ever again
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ I'm about ready to do this, when you sprayed the evac system with lysol did you use anything to try and wipe the inside of the area? I know it's hard to reach was there anything you did for that part?

Hi Mikey, i watch this on 2022 and i have some similar problem with my W204. My question is, 1) is it safe for W204 to use the AC Cleaner foam which is you directly spray it on to the air vent, will it cause some electrical multifunction. 2) Can u spray it on the outside fan behind the external air cabin filter box, because i find it very dirty and hard to clean. Btw i'm chandra from jakarta-indonesia. Thanks bro.
yes the foam is made to evaporate and eventually turns to liquid ... I would use that and use a long hole and get as close to the evap core as possible

dirt? or mould if itsmould I would really spray it everywhere that is building with mould
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ my AC smell kinda bad and got a friend that recommend me to use the foamy ac cleaner. i think it is caused by mould. The dirt i mentioned was in the blower fan which take the air from the outside. last question, can i do the same treatment for the rear air vent?

Just replace mine 2weeks ago. Cost me au $90 to get my local mechanic to do it for my w204. Smell gone now.

Bro i m having a sensor problem in my mercedes w204 petrol 2009 model the parking sensors are not working just blinking red light not working both front and back hellp me plzz ?!!!?
have u had any accident where u hit the sensors sometimes its from tapping the sensors accidents or the actual display inside your car could be broken..ive got videos showing how to remove both front and rear display sensors and my front bar disassembly video shows how to remove the front sensors
