One of my favorite jojo stands get fucked up by most jojo games, it is such a versatile stand in the anime with endless utility. They should totally rework both GE and GER.
I think the reason why GER has less core move destructive power is because the devs wanted it to be a side grade compared to GE. (But the YBA devs suck at balancing sooooo….)
yeah but ger can still do scorpion barrage off of a parry and summon life form out of a block break, they nerfed it in the wrongest way possible yet again (what a shocker!1!!1!1)
If it took them 6 months to make some TWAU knives blockable and haven’t nerfed D4CLT yet, I can 100% see why GER is going to get buffed, but in the wrong way
anyone remember project jojo ger? favorite version mainly bc it was insanely rare and also op. Walk in time stop was really nice bc time stop meant death in that game, being able to rtz counter ppl all it did was damage and stunned, and its healing was really good, damage and stats were really solid. Also having the ability to combie stands in that game is a feature I haven't seen done again which makes the game so much better making ger with cream bc cream added basically extra damage to all damage basically made it insane. I really would love to see another jojo game with the combing stands idea again it made combat so interesting or annoying if someone made a op combination. Like when u can make soft and wet have unstoppable tracking bubbles or killer queen au have triple as many explosives also adding hamon which buffed all damage a bit doing completely insane damage like being able to kill someone 5 times over, sticky fingers abilities like the arm extender thing with the power of star platinum the world, and lastly tusk act 4 and star platinum with act 4 making all melee damage double and star platinum already insane damage being one of the top stands. I really loved the killer queen main and king crimson sub combination bc its just killer queen but with time erase so you could time erase which made it look like ur still standing there so know one knows when u use time erase then plant btd on someone then teleport back to where u where standing and everyone would have no idea what's going on lol. like all major abilities were crazy in that game. man time acceleration from mih was horrible to deal with they run at mach 5 and at the end there's a huge explosion that kills u unless ur stand is like sp and u have a lot of resistance. If you think aut was unbalanced play that game its been a long time and has many updates so its probably much different tho. But man it was fun as hell.
I’m a GER main and while it has bad design, I think it’s still very good. And about the thing about it having lower destructive power is because it’s throwing a bit away from strength in return for better moves (what I’m guessing). For summon life form, it forces them to block up close so then you can do pierce and 90% of the time block break them, leading for scorpion barrages and such. (I’m not saying it’s a well designed move, it’s just not completely obsolete)
I said this (I think, this video was made nearly a month ago at this point) GER is a good stand, the problem is it isn't very fun to use, and certainly not fun to fight against, hence the "Bad Game Design" philosophy

I've been saying for a long time, i want the awakening gone from my favourite stand, to give it a kick barrage or beatdown, to make ger just, somewhat more usable than the "run away from me mode"
I guess today's "summon life form" should be replaced with a similar move, but a combo starter The only 3 ideas i got: 1. Same/cursor aiming bird that does same stun as hermit purple's vine trap, blockable 2. Ger summon a fly (insect) that follows the nearest enemy and when connects, does a hit after some sort of startup/sound and if hits does same stun as vine trap, blockable/only perfect blockable (no stun of ger user if perfect block) 3. Ger punches the ground with a bit faster startup then "summon tree", it shots some vine on the floor with similar mechanic as "flash freeze" (wa ice move) but only in length, not in height, blockable/blockable but does 2 hits, same stun as vine trap 4. Completely same as 3, but it does not stun as vine trap, only stops person and disables ANY movement abilitys, person still can block while being in vine. If blocked before the vine hit, unless he stops blocking he can move out RTZ should not unsummon stands unless there is any time related move (if time erase, then all players that was in range of te get's stand off) And yes, no moving and blocking in a cutscene Not a necesarry or even not good idea: make it so self heal heal only 30, then have cooldown 115% of healing others, after end, heals another 30, and after it have cooldown of usual self healing example: +30 (cooldown 20 seconds) + 30 (cooldown 40 seconds) if used again then again +30 (cd 20 sec) + 30 (cd 40 ces) like it have smaller cooldown but every second use it gets old big cooldown Counter fix is counter fix, frames
"...only perfect blockable (no stun of ger user if perfect block)" No stun for GER if move 2 gets parried? That just contradicts the whole point of a parry. It's not a parry unless your perfectly timed block punishes your opponent-that punishment usually being a stun.
Eclipse's infinite death beatdown sounds like a legendary finish. I'd say YBA should add a concept like that, but it's got other problems to worry about.
Maybe to counter loosing some big boy moves GER could get some passives. I mean canonically it's a defensive/counter stand. Maybe a tiny bit of passive damage resistance that could take some upgrade pips. Also would love to see the Awakening floaty move be the default or maybe sprint when using the stand
a funny counter would be like a hah you thought move aka if your about to get knocked out k.o. you play a cutscene with ger saying Korega Requiem Da... and you will never reach the truth before healing you 25-50 percent hp back and only able to be used once in 1v1s and it is a passive that has a 200000 minute cooldown in 1v1's and a 20 minute cooldown in main game to stop it from being I LIVE FOREVER

I fought a Ger ditto yesterday, and the first round went on for so long (Tree, heal, Tree, heal) We both agreed on not using heal on the second round. The problem Ger has is that it is a jack of all trades but not the best at anything, its not really a projectile stand and it lacks the destruction power of a close ranged melee stand. Forcing its user to play as campy as they can be making matches turn into 30 minute sludge fests.
17:44 Love train's counter has this exact problem and it makes me want to die because I don't like using running and cloning to win, it makes me feel dirty to stand on a corner and spawn every clone in the world to chase down the opponent.
Ger's RTZ should put people where they were like 5-10 seconds ago. When the opponent is going back they are completely vulnerable. This would also reset time stop and time erase. To balance this as well the opponent will get the heath that they had 5-10 seconds ago

I've had this idea for a while but now i get to actually suggest it. My idea for fixing RTZ is to make it a ultimate like BTD. You do a short animation and whoever is near you gets affected just like BTD, and if noone is near you it doesn't activate. You go back 5-10 seconds, and whatever damage you took will be reverted, and anyone who was in the cutscene (including you) will get 25% cooldown decrease on whatever skill they have on cooldown (since your returning everything to what it was 10 sec ago). This would balance it out, not too op, but very useful. Current RTZ is stupid since you get rewarded for getting timestopped or combo'd which makes 0 sense. This would be helpful for when you just got beatdowned or time stopped, and it wouldn't punish the player who landed it.
rtz is fine the way it is, it has a decent cooldown, cancels all time and dimension hop and gives immunity, the move is fine, its the lifebeam and dmg output that is the problem

Ok here. New ger rework moveset. 1 is rtz doesn't give i frames if cancelled. 2 ger cannot move in ts but but can rtz it. Life beam only summons scorpions if it hit the opponent. Tree will be a skill that lifts the opponent up if you hold it and lifts you up if You you simply press it. Nullification zero will be s little beatdown counter. The bd will do roughly 60 damage. Summon life form bird will be replaced with a triple kick move that combo extends. There. Its balanced. Also awakening only gives you more vitality and regen and doesn't buff damage. The barage is 1.7 per hit heavy punch 20 damage and m1s 9.8.
1.6 barrage. Take it or leave it, because a 1.5 barrage with hamon already goes up to as much as 1.8 which is a lot, and by my calculations, 1.7 hamon buffed will be roughly around 2.2 and 2 damage per a punch, and remember KCR? The stand that was only good for high destructive power? Yeah, that thing again but it now has a combo extender that deals great damage and can chain into more m1's. And overall, the combo extender idea is bad with high destructive power. I can even calculate, if 1 M1 is a 9.8 then the combo of 2 M1's plus extender plus 2 m1's will deal around 39.2+kicks, and not even mentioning hamon buffed. And a 60 damage counter? Now THAT'S one hell of a lot of damage. Hamonic buffed it'll be like, 80? Or around that. And, simply how BUSTED would GER be if it was to spawn scorpions on a hit. 22 damage+11.2(or what was it)x4=66.8, and considering the fact it has kick you might as well just die, because if the new beam has enough stun on the user to not allow him to move but allow opponent to block, it will never work since it'll always be blocked. Enough stun on opponent so it deals and puts you into netural state? 66.8 free damage, move overpowered because cannot counter, enough stun on opponent but not user? Even more overpowered, netural state? Move uncountable due to M1's, zoom punch and kicks having enough stun to land scorpions.
if i could change anything, i think that you should be able to block and move in RTZ. no using spec or stand moves, but just block and move. this is because the cutscene lasts for a bit and before GER got nerfed, the user was provided enough time to 100-0 you in a couple of moves. RTZ is more of an illusion to whoever gets affected by it anyways, so why not?
A ger buff: Basically make gers counter into an attacking move so if the counter connects, you do a short attack animation doing a decent amount of dmg.
what if return to zero reset back to neutral so its not an uno reverse where ger gets to combo now but the move reset to zeroed the cooldown is instant that way its a reset to true neutral
as a ger main i can 100% agree with everything now if summon life form had the same tracking as sha then it will be useful and for anyone that is going to say iT wIlL bE tO oP let me say this you can still block it it wont be that op if u can block it

Eclipse, the reason why GE is stronger than GER is because more recently, they added destructive nodes to GE. It didn’t even have destructive nodes originally, but then they added some to make it better.
From a gameplay perspective, just about anyone is gonna know more than Uzu. There's no way he plays, and I would bet if he ever does it would be with some unobtainable Mod Spec that could beat anything in its sleep.
@@EclipseGameplays I just wanted to say something about a really big problem about YBA itself, there is a device, a touch screen chromebook. Not many people play on it so i doubt Uzu would fix it anyways, but for pc users you join on mobile. You can press backspace or enter or pretty much any key on your keyboard, then you reset and pow your on pc controls, but THEN what happened to shiftlock mode? Yes shiftlock is no more for touch screen chromebook users. If your a mobile player, and your on a touchscreen chromebook player then if you say anything, touch any key on your keyboard If you reset/die once your controls are gone. Its very annoying. I just wanted to know if you see this and could try to do anything about it. I know your not a dev or anything, but you may have an impact. (I belive that adding something in settings that adds mobile controls to your screen could fix that, if any pc users tap it they could reset and the controls would disapear. I think thats one of the best posibilities. thanks for reading this :D)
Bro this is almost exactly what I was thinking for a (hopefully) reworked GER, except for the BD, but that's just a better and less complex answer to my idea of an awakening rework.
I would like to ask if you could reconsider your thoughts on KCR, as I personally think most of its aspects are really cheese. For starters, epitaph is a free mini beatdown that does 20% of your health (depending on build) with 0 startup or endlag for missing it. Time erase is a free attack or guardbreak (like jaw breaker). Sythe has very few optinos to avoid and for most people either forces a limb removal (basically a life lost if you lose a leg or arm) or a block break (free massive damage combo).the box is free pose time in a 1v1 and has no counterplay, and lastly the destructive power means hamon kcr can literatly barrage to win and not use any other moves and still come out on top (a 2.3 barrage does like 100 damage)
I don’t wanna be that guy but imma be that guy. Epitaph can be baited (it’s not too hard but sometimes doesn’t work so). Time erase can be countered timeskipped out of, or your move can be canceled by mashing. A lot of the time just dashing can avoid scythe if they aim the wrong way and you can use counters, timeskips, time erase, etc to avoid it. Box is definitely cheese with the pose stuff but there is counterplay to it, timeskips can get you out (but you are still blind and slow) and RTZ will fully disable it. And the hamon barrage first depends on the enemy stand but yea that is also cheese.
I mean of course if you use specless aerosmith yes it would do this much damage but with boxing and a decent stand or vitality it barely gets you to 70 percent
Do you have no vitality, and no damage reduction? The BD really isn't that powerful for difficult it can be to land when you have reductions and half way decent health stats
Maybe instead of the "summon life force move", it could be the berserk abbility: -would look like a chop -it would kinda be like crazy diamond's trap attack -it would put the mind of the user outside of their body for 4 sec. - it would be blockable -and it hits no matter what(by that I mean it can't be cancelled like beatdowns) Or you could just give ge and ger a kick barrage, I mean it does use it quite often in the anime...(it would look like tw's kick barrage animation).
Ger should become a hard to get stand like TWOH, have a long quest to become "worthy" Edit: aswell as when becoming way harder to get it would also become way stronger.
It seems to me that a lot of people don’t know that RTZ completely counters KCR’s box, like the blind and slow gets removed and the box itself gets deleted and this happens for everybody in range (which most of the time is going to be everyone affected by it)
Eclipse, you should play ABA just so you have perspective on how bad a game's combat can be, because I can assure you that Anime Battle arena is about twice as worse to play than AUT's current state. There are jojo characters in ABA don't worry

GER flicked a pebble, a god damn pebble and destroyed a sizeable chunk of a stone building along with piercing a human hand clean, with no residue left, literally just a gaping hole. mind you he FLICKED a PEBBLE to do this. im pretty sure GER got a damage buff man. because GE most definitely can not do that
if they were to make RTZ a more gimmicky ability, say making all the damage taken in the last 5 seconds be undone, but the enemy gets the cooldowns used in the last 5 seconds back, life beam scorpions follow for a second or two, awakening being either removed completely, or the damage buff reduced or removed entirely, and possibly replacing lifeform with a beatdown in awakening. it would make it alot more interesting to play against and use in fights

Idk if you know this but there is a bug where at times if you get to low hp but then get back to full, the slowdown for having less hp doesn't really leave. So what ends up happening is you having full hp and no mobility. Stand barrage and moves like that are completely still.
Not being fun to play is realistic, like I get tired of it a few hours after every time I get it. I mean it’s an ok stand, but I would agree with you on how it needs a rework

completely agree cool build or bust idea: vamp ger i like to do a gimmick where you barrage first and RTZ their barrage, and then use vamp freeze. after that, if you awaken, you can pretty much nuke their healthbars by using both summonings. whats even funnier, is if they block both summonings, they actually get guardbroken to sheer damage alone, and then you can just continue to nuke them harder
I think the destructive power of GER is so low is because it got a move to take a stand away which means you can get a free barrage (even though you can just dash out). I think this is because white snake also got a a move to take a stand away and get a ‘free’ barrage
Honestly, knowing how RTZ works, I feel like it should be a counter, TE needs changes, a startup and it lasts for a set amount of time, and GER users can see the person even when they are in TE, when hit by the counter, ANY MOVE gets cancelled, opponent gets the cutscene, and GER user can attack them, life beam should be the same except, if hit, the scorpions will hit them aswell, but they can block as we saw diavolo kill the scorps, and they should auto track the closest person, if the beam hits someone it tracks the person hit, BD is a cool idea imo,other than that all I can think of is polishes like more voicelines, like in AUT, when using a stand u actually feel like the person who used the stand, the voicelines really represent the characters personality, take SP for example, in YBA it's only voicelines are, barrage, finisher, kicks, and when TS finishes, and the ora kicks voice line is something random, it doesn't represent jotaros personality at all, while AUT, his barrage got voice lines, his finisher does, the star finger does, his tandem has such a cool voiceline, his slam has a voiceline, his TS has a voiceline, his skull basher has one too, and the iconic "yare yare" when u heal, on top of this u got a set of voicelines that u can access by pressing N, all of this and the fact that u get jotaros hat when using moves, this really makes you feel as if Ur actually jotaro
eclipse, it is actually by design for rtz to not force stands away if you're being stunned when you use it. its meant to be a combo breaker instead of a combo extender. i think that being able to use moves during the cutscene is definitely an oversight though
I feel like like ger’s bd should be a lot like auts bd, in the sense that it’s short, has the you will never reach the truth speech, and does Less dmg then ge’s bd, but with the space background (like rtz) and it should be named something like, “you will never reach the truth”
I think lifebeam should do 30 damage but it will penetrate past players even when they are hit and summon scorpions if it hits the ground when going past a player , just like when diavolo got hit with it and it passed out of his hand, which then made scorpions. So it would be both more accurate and better. It would reward players for hitting their shots with an extra 22 damage. And also maybe make every scorpion only do 8 damage so being braindead isn’t as rewarding. So the primary focus is hitting the beam instead of purposely missing it.
They could easily swap life form summon for a kick barrage, giving it the damage it needs to compete with other requiem level stands. And I’ll be cool.
Ive always felt like the tree was more of a "get off me" move than a mobility move I always used it when either getting ganked in sbr or using it on a time stop user to launch them away wasting their TS
@@seangamer8254 I never mentioned RTZ. You do bring up a good point about using RTZ instead but if that isn't available then its better than nothing. Its also a option for GE users who don't have TS resist at all, Tree has a spot in GE/GER's moveset its just not a very good one.

imo the thing they should do to ger is bump up the destructive power to 1.5 per barrage hit and 8.9 per m1 hit, keep the awakening but make it not do extra damage just defence, summon life form would become the beatdown, and the life beam would become so that when you hit it and you're not awakened it does arround 25 to 30 damage, and if you land it while awakened it stuns the enemy and spawns 4 scorpions that do 5 damage each

Just had quick idea for ger and ge rework, mainly for the life creation areas, didn’t really think deeply about it tbh, just came up with it randomly: Ge: first off, remove frog creation, it makes absolutely no sense, it contradict’s ge’s canon limitations to not being able to create life on living things, maybe replace it with a life induced punch/adrenaline punch, which basically stuns for 2 seconds and makes the opponent’s defense to be lowered for 1 minute, based on how this “adrenaline punch” works in the battle between giorno and bruno. Ger: couldn’t think of much for this guy, maybe make it so that if you land life creation beam on the opponent it goes through them and still creates the scorpions, but make them slightly weaker than if you shot it towards the ground. Now for the life creation… make it so that there is more life creation options for both ge and ger, there should be a menu that lets you alternate between life creations, and the different options would be scorpions, close ranged scorpions, eagle, rhinoceros beetle, snake, tree, and a defensive bush Scorpions would be exclusive to ger’s life beam, and close ranged scorpions would be for ge only, and it would go something like: the user does a quick ground smash and scorpions are created from the rubble. The eagle would be the same, except faster windup. The rhinoceros beetle, the user takes out a gun and shoots it, if it lands the enemy will be damaged again after 5 seconds, proc bleeding. The user does a smaller ground slam compared to close ranged scorpions and takes a piece of rubble, which is thrown as if it were kq’s coin toss except it turns into a snake, that chases after the closest target and attacks them, proc poison Tree remains the same Ge/ger quickly creates a bush in front of the user which acts as some sort of love train/your own shadow, except it doubles the damage the enemy receives from hitting it and it has some fair endlag if the bush isn’t attacked, basically a counter
this is great and all but if the enemy uses a beatdown on the bush, will they just get beatdowned themselves and take DOUBLE damage? sptw bd currently does 120~ damage. if they land a bd on the bush it would do 240 damage to them. and then things like scythe, and other long startup gigantic damage moves, would get doubled and thrown right back at the enemy. imo the bush should return the same amount of damage the attack it was hit with.
@@Goober2007 maybe make it the kind of counter that only returns instant damage, not beatdowns, so it would only return the initial hit’s damage, as for the amount of damage it returns… Ig it would be fair for it to return somewhere between 1.1x - 1.5x damage
Honestly the life beam of creation is a bit of a mess, but i agree that hitting life beam should be on par with not hitting it. But the proposed change i would make is to summon one to two homing scorpion(s) slightly slower of sha speed so that the move can be an actual ranged move with decent properties. But ger rn is literally try and bait enemies into lifeforms. Summon lifeform can’t be confirmed off of eye gouge and barely does anything to help if you land it so the way i play with it is a second counter where if someone goes in for m1s, i use it, and sometimes they get hit for it. Which really sucks for a move.

I Really think they should add a GER beat down, it was shown in the anime that diavolo got beat downed by GER and then sent into the river, only to meet the infinite death loop
If you've ever played the game, jojo eyes of heaven, you see that the reality behind golden experiences ability is that to activate it's ability, you need to land a hit on the opoonent, of course, this means that if Diavolo got hit within the time he was in epitaph / in time erasure, even if it was just the out-of-time-erasure version of himself, GER's ability would still activate. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, maybe they should make ger have a similar thing to Crazy Diamond in which you have to land a hit on them to activate it. Also, you'd probably have to hold down the button or something in which it would have startup but only be perfect blockable, cancellable, and goes through block. Just my opinions on how ger's return to zero should work. Also this would prove the whole thing about golden experience requiem being able to just do a whole "ts, ts, go away, come around another day" type of bs.

anyone remember project jojo ger? favorite version mainly bc it was insanely rare and also op. Walk in time stop was really nice bc time stop meant death in that game, being able to rtz counter ppl all it did was damage and stunned, and its healing was really good, damage and stats were really solid. Also having the ability to combie stands in that game is a feature I haven't seen done again which makes the game so much better making ger with cream bc cream added basically extra damage to all damage basically made it insane.
I really would love to see another jojo game with the combing stands idea again it made combat so interesting or annoying if someone made a op combination. Like when u can make soft and wet have unstoppable tracking bubbles or killer queen au have triple as many explosives also adding hamon which buffed all damage a bit doing completely insane damage like being able to kill someone 5 times over, sticky fingers abilities like the arm extender thing with the power of star platinum the world, and lastly tusk act 4 and star platinum with act 4 making all melee damage double and star platinum already insane damage being one of the top stands.
I really loved the killer queen main and king crimson sub combination bc its just killer queen but with time erase so you could time erase which made it look like ur still standing there so know one knows when u use time erase then plant btd on someone then teleport back to where u where standing and everyone would have no idea what's going on lol. like all major abilities were crazy in that game. man time acceleration from mih was horrible to deal with they run at mach 5 and at the end there's a huge explosion that kills u unless ur stand is like sp and u have a lot of resistance.
If you think aut was unbalanced play that game its been a long time and has many updates so its probably much different tho. But man it was fun as hell.
I’m a GER main and while it has bad design, I think it’s still very good. And about the thing about it having lower destructive power is because it’s throwing a bit away from strength in return for better moves (what I’m guessing). For summon life form, it forces them to block up close so then you can do pierce and 90% of the time block break them, leading for scorpion barrages and such. (I’m not saying it’s a well designed move, it’s just not completely obsolete)
I said this (I think, this video was made nearly a month ago at this point) GER is a good stand, the problem is it isn't very fun to use, and certainly not fun to fight against, hence the "Bad Game Design" philosophy

I've been saying for a long time, i want the awakening gone from my favourite stand, to give it a kick barrage or beatdown, to make ger just, somewhat more usable than the "run away from me mode"
A beadown is unnecessary, just a fix should be done unless the awakening is removed that would fix a lot more

I guess today's "summon life form" should be replaced with a similar move, but a combo starter
The only 3 ideas i got:
1. Same/cursor aiming bird that does same stun as hermit purple's vine trap, blockable
2. Ger summon a fly (insect) that follows the nearest enemy and when connects, does a hit after some sort of startup/sound and if hits does same stun as vine trap, blockable/only perfect blockable (no stun of ger user if perfect block)
3. Ger punches the ground with a bit faster startup then "summon tree", it shots some vine on the floor with similar mechanic as "flash freeze" (wa ice move) but only in length, not in height, blockable/blockable but does 2 hits, same stun as vine trap
4. Completely same as 3, but it does not stun as vine trap, only stops person and disables ANY movement abilitys, person still can block while being in vine. If blocked before the vine hit, unless he stops blocking he can move out
RTZ should not unsummon stands unless there is any time related move (if time erase, then all players that was in range of te get's stand off)
And yes, no moving and blocking in a cutscene
Not a necesarry or even not good idea: make it so self heal heal only 30, then have cooldown 115% of healing others, after end, heals another 30, and after it have cooldown of usual self healing
example: +30 (cooldown 20 seconds) + 30 (cooldown 40 seconds)
if used again then again +30 (cd 20 sec) + 30 (cd 40 ces)
like it have smaller cooldown but every second use it gets old big cooldown

No stun for GER if move 2 gets parried? That just contradicts the whole point of a parry. It's not a parry unless your perfectly timed block punishes your opponent-that punishment usually being a stun.
Eclipse's infinite death beatdown sounds like a legendary finish. I'd say YBA should add a concept like that, but it's got other problems to worry about.

Maybe to counter loosing some big boy moves GER could get some passives. I mean canonically it's a defensive/counter stand. Maybe a tiny bit of passive damage resistance that could take some upgrade pips. Also would love to see the Awakening floaty move be the default or maybe sprint when using the stand
a funny counter would be like a hah you thought move aka if your about to get knocked out k.o. you play a cutscene with ger saying Korega Requiem Da... and you will never reach the truth before healing you 25-50 percent hp back and only able to be used once in 1v1s and it is a passive that has a 200000 minute cooldown in 1v1's and a 20 minute cooldown in main game to stop it from being I LIVE FOREVER

I fought a Ger ditto yesterday, and the first round went on for so long (Tree, heal, Tree, heal) We both agreed on not using heal on the second round. The problem Ger has is that it is a jack of all trades but not the best at anything, its not really a projectile stand and it lacks the destruction power of a close ranged melee stand. Forcing its user to play as campy as they can be making matches turn into 30 minute sludge fests.
17:44 Love train's counter has this exact problem and it makes me want to die because I don't like using running and cloning to win, it makes me feel dirty to stand on a corner and spawn every clone in the world to chase down the opponent.

Ger's RTZ should put people where they were like 5-10 seconds ago. When the opponent is going back they are completely vulnerable. This would also reset time stop and time erase. To balance this as well the opponent will get the heath that they had 5-10 seconds ago

I've had this idea for a while but now i get to actually suggest it.
My idea for fixing RTZ is to make it a ultimate like BTD. You do a short animation and whoever is near you gets affected just like BTD, and if noone is near you it doesn't activate. You go back 5-10 seconds, and whatever damage you took will be reverted, and anyone who was in the cutscene (including you) will get 25% cooldown decrease on whatever skill they have on cooldown (since your returning everything to what it was 10 sec ago). This would balance it out, not too op, but very useful. Current RTZ is stupid since you get rewarded for getting timestopped or combo'd which makes 0 sense. This would be helpful for when you just got beatdowned or time stopped, and it wouldn't punish the player who landed it.

Ok here. New ger rework moveset. 1 is rtz doesn't give i frames if cancelled. 2 ger cannot move in ts but but can rtz it. Life beam only summons scorpions if it hit the opponent. Tree will be a skill that lifts the opponent up if you hold it and lifts you up if You you simply press it. Nullification zero will be s little beatdown counter. The bd will do roughly 60 damage. Summon life form bird will be replaced with a triple kick move that combo extends. There. Its balanced. Also awakening only gives you more vitality and regen and doesn't buff damage. The barage is 1.7 per hit heavy punch 20 damage and m1s 9.8.
1.6 barrage. Take it or leave it, because a 1.5 barrage with hamon already goes up to as much as 1.8 which is a lot, and by my calculations, 1.7 hamon buffed will be roughly around 2.2 and 2 damage per a punch, and remember KCR? The stand that was only good for high destructive power? Yeah, that thing again but it now has a combo extender that deals great damage and can chain into more m1's. And overall, the combo extender idea is bad with high destructive power. I can even calculate, if 1 M1 is a 9.8 then the combo of 2 M1's plus extender plus 2 m1's will deal around 39.2+kicks, and not even mentioning hamon buffed. And a 60 damage counter? Now THAT'S one hell of a lot of damage. Hamonic buffed it'll be like, 80? Or around that. And, simply how BUSTED would GER be if it was to spawn scorpions on a hit. 22 damage+11.2(or what was it)x4=66.8, and considering the fact it has kick you might as well just die, because if the new beam has enough stun on the user to not allow him to move but allow opponent to block, it will never work since it'll always be blocked. Enough stun on opponent so it deals and puts you into netural state? 66.8 free damage, move overpowered because cannot counter, enough stun on opponent but not user? Even more overpowered, netural state? Move uncountable due to M1's, zoom punch and kicks having enough stun to land scorpions.
if i could change anything, i think that you should be able to block and move in RTZ. no using spec or stand moves, but just block and move. this is because the cutscene lasts for a bit and before GER got nerfed, the user was provided enough time to 100-0 you in a couple of moves. RTZ is more of an illusion to whoever gets affected by it anyways, so why not?
A ger buff: Basically make gers counter into an attacking move so if the counter connects, you do a short attack animation doing a decent amount of dmg.
I mean that really doesn't help, the main problems are the start up and barraging during the counter

Eclipse, the reason why GE is stronger than GER is because more recently, they added destructive nodes to GE. It didn’t even have destructive nodes originally, but then they added some to make it better.
When you realize that Eclipse knows more about YBA than Uzu himself.
From a gameplay perspective, just about anyone is gonna know more than Uzu. There's no way he plays, and I would bet if he ever does it would be with some unobtainable Mod Spec that could beat anything in its sleep.

@@EclipseGameplays I just wanted to say something about a really big problem about YBA itself, there is a device, a touch screen chromebook. Not many people play on it so i doubt Uzu would fix it anyways, but for pc users you join on mobile. You can press backspace or enter or pretty much any key on your keyboard, then you reset
and pow your on pc controls, but THEN what happened to shiftlock mode? Yes shiftlock is no more for touch screen chromebook users. If your a mobile player, and your on a touchscreen chromebook player then if you say anything, touch any key on your keyboard If you reset/die once your controls are gone. Its very annoying. I just wanted to know if you see this and could try to do anything about it. I know your not a dev or anything, but you may have an impact. (I belive that adding something in settings that adds mobile controls to your screen could fix that, if any pc users tap it they could reset and the controls would disapear. I think thats one of the best posibilities. thanks for reading this :D)
Bro this is almost exactly what I was thinking for a (hopefully) reworked GER, except for the BD, but that's just a better and less complex answer to my idea of an awakening rework.
I would like to ask if you could reconsider your thoughts on KCR, as I personally think most of its aspects are really cheese. For starters, epitaph is a free mini beatdown that does 20% of your health (depending on build) with 0 startup or endlag for missing it. Time erase is a free attack or guardbreak (like jaw breaker). Sythe has very few optinos to avoid and for most people either forces a limb removal (basically a life lost if you lose a leg or arm) or a block break (free massive damage combo).the box is free pose time in a 1v1 and has no counterplay, and lastly the destructive power means hamon kcr can literatly barrage to win and not use any other moves and still come out on top (a 2.3 barrage does like 100 damage)

I don’t wanna be that guy but imma be that guy. Epitaph can be baited (it’s not too hard but sometimes doesn’t work so). Time erase can be countered timeskipped out of, or your move can be canceled by mashing. A lot of the time just dashing can avoid scythe if they aim the wrong way and you can use counters, timeskips, time erase, etc to avoid it. Box is definitely cheese with the pose stuff but there is counterplay to it, timeskips can get you out (but you are still blind and slow) and RTZ will fully disable it. And the hamon barrage first depends on the enemy stand but yea that is also cheese.

It seems to me that a lot of people don’t know that RTZ completely counters KCR’s box, like the blind and slow gets removed and the box itself gets deleted and this happens for everybody in range (which most of the time is going to be everyone affected by it)
Imo 2 destructive nodes being added and removing the damage boost from awakening and replacing it with true damage should suffice.
I like how half of the games stands are remodeled a bit but hermit purple got fully remodeled

if they were to make RTZ a more gimmicky ability, say making all the damage taken in the last 5 seconds be undone, but the enemy gets the cooldowns used in the last 5 seconds back, life beam scorpions follow for a second or two, awakening being either removed completely, or the damage buff reduced or removed entirely, and possibly replacing lifeform with a beatdown in awakening. it would make it alot more interesting to play against and use in fights

Idk if you know this but there is a bug where at times if you get to low hp but then get back to full, the slowdown for having less hp doesn't really leave. So what ends up happening is you having full hp and no mobility. Stand barrage and moves like that are completely still.

i like to do a gimmick where you barrage first and RTZ their barrage, and then use vamp freeze. after that, if you awaken, you can pretty much nuke their healthbars by using both summonings. whats even funnier, is if they block both summonings, they actually get guardbroken to sheer damage alone, and then you can just continue to nuke them harder
I think the destructive power of GER is so low is because it got a move to take a stand away which means you can get a free barrage (even though you can just dash out). I think this is because white snake also got a a move to take a stand away and get a ‘free’ barrage
Honestly, knowing how RTZ works, I feel like it should be a counter, TE needs changes, a startup and it lasts for a set amount of time, and GER users can see the person even when they are in TE, when hit by the counter, ANY MOVE gets cancelled, opponent gets the cutscene, and GER user can attack them, life beam should be the same except, if hit, the scorpions will hit them aswell, but they can block as we saw diavolo kill the scorps, and they should auto track the closest person, if the beam hits someone it tracks the person hit, BD is a cool idea imo,other than that all I can think of is polishes like more voicelines, like in AUT, when using a stand u actually feel like the person who used the stand, the voicelines really represent the characters personality, take SP for example, in YBA it's only voicelines are, barrage, finisher, kicks, and when TS finishes, and the ora kicks voice line is something random, it doesn't represent jotaros personality at all, while AUT, his barrage got voice lines, his finisher does, the star finger does, his tandem has such a cool voiceline, his slam has a voiceline, his TS has a voiceline, his skull basher has one too, and the iconic "yare yare" when u heal, on top of this u got a set of voicelines that u can access by pressing N, all of this and the fact that u get jotaros hat when using moves, this really makes you feel as if Ur actually jotaro

eclipse, it is actually by design for rtz to not force stands away if you're being stunned when you use it. its meant to be a combo breaker instead of a combo extender. i think that being able to use moves during the cutscene is definitely an oversight though
I feel like like ger’s bd should be a lot like auts bd, in the sense that it’s short, has the you will never reach the truth speech, and does Less dmg then ge’s bd, but with the space background (like rtz) and it should be named something like, “you will never reach the truth”

N the jojo game's GER counter: allow me to introduce myself.
I think lifebeam should do 30 damage but it will penetrate past players even when they are hit and summon scorpions if it hits the ground when going past a player , just like when diavolo got hit with it and it passed out of his hand, which then made scorpions.
So it would be both more accurate and better.
It would reward players for hitting their shots with an extra 22 damage.
And also maybe make every scorpion only do 8 damage so being braindead isn’t as rewarding.
So the primary focus is hitting the beam instead of purposely missing it.
They could easily swap life form summon for a kick barrage, giving it the damage it needs to compete with other requiem level stands. And I’ll be cool.
It’s so stupid because GE has a kick barrage technically used in the anime too so it shouldn’t be that hard
Ive always felt like the tree was more of a "get off me" move than a mobility move I always used it when either getting ganked in sbr or using it on a time stop user to launch them away wasting their TS

@@seangamer8254 I never mentioned RTZ. You do bring up a good point about using RTZ instead but if that isn't available then its better than nothing. Its also a option for GE users who don't have TS resist at all, Tree has a spot in GE/GER's moveset its just not a very good one.

imo the thing they should do to ger is bump up the destructive power to 1.5 per barrage hit and 8.9 per m1 hit, keep the awakening but make it not do extra damage just defence, summon life form would become the beatdown, and the life beam would become so that when you hit it and you're not awakened it does arround 25 to 30 damage, and if you land it while awakened it stuns the enemy and spawns 4 scorpions that do 5 damage each

I do agree that replacing the awakening with bd is a good thing cuz everytime i use the awakening the person runs for literally 5 mins then when the awakening ends they start attacking again, its really annoying
Just had quick idea for ger and ge rework, mainly for the life creation areas, didn’t really think deeply about it tbh, just came up with it randomly:
Ge: first off, remove frog creation, it makes absolutely no sense, it contradict’s ge’s canon limitations to not being able to create life on living things, maybe replace it with a life induced punch/adrenaline punch, which basically stuns for 2 seconds and makes the opponent’s defense to be lowered for 1 minute, based on how this “adrenaline punch” works in the battle between giorno and bruno.
Ger: couldn’t think of much for this guy, maybe make it so that if you land life creation beam on the opponent it goes through them and still creates the scorpions, but make them slightly weaker than if you shot it towards the ground.
Now for the life creation… make it so that there is more life creation options for both ge and ger, there should be a menu that lets you alternate between life creations, and the different options would be scorpions, close ranged scorpions, eagle, rhinoceros beetle, snake, tree, and a defensive bush
Scorpions would be exclusive to ger’s life beam, and close ranged scorpions would be for ge only, and it would go something like: the user does a quick ground smash and scorpions are created from the rubble.
The eagle would be the same, except faster windup.
The rhinoceros beetle, the user takes out a gun and shoots it, if it lands the enemy will be damaged again after 5 seconds, proc bleeding.
The user does a smaller ground slam compared to close ranged scorpions and takes a piece of rubble, which is thrown as if it were kq’s coin toss except it turns into a snake, that chases after the closest target and attacks them, proc poison
Tree remains the same
Ge/ger quickly creates a bush in front of the user which acts as some sort of love train/your own shadow, except it doubles the damage the enemy receives from hitting it and it has some fair endlag if the bush isn’t attacked, basically a counter
this is great and all but if the enemy uses a beatdown on the bush, will they just get beatdowned themselves and take DOUBLE damage? sptw bd currently does 120~ damage. if they land a bd on the bush it would do 240 damage to them. and then things like scythe, and other long startup gigantic damage moves, would get doubled and thrown right back at the enemy. imo the bush should return the same amount of damage the attack it was hit with.
@@Goober2007 maybe make it the kind of counter that only returns instant damage, not beatdowns, so it would only return the initial hit’s damage, as for the amount of damage it returns… Ig it would be fair for it to return somewhere between 1.1x - 1.5x damage
Honestly the life beam of creation is a bit of a mess, but i agree that hitting life beam should be on par with not hitting it. But the proposed change i would make is to summon one to two homing scorpion(s) slightly slower of sha speed so that the move can be an actual ranged move with decent properties.
But ger rn is literally try and bait enemies into lifeforms. Summon lifeform can’t be confirmed off of eye gouge and barely does anything to help if you land it so the way i play with it is a second counter where if someone goes in for m1s, i use it, and sometimes they get hit for it. Which really sucks for a move.

I Really think they should add a GER beat down, it was shown in the anime that diavolo got beat downed by GER and then sent into the river, only to meet the infinite death loop
i feel like return to zero should cancel out the current move the enemy is doing instead of removing the stand
If you've ever played the game, jojo eyes of heaven, you see that the reality behind golden experiences ability is that to activate it's ability, you need to land a hit on the opoonent, of course, this means that if Diavolo got hit within the time he was in epitaph / in time erasure, even if it was just the out-of-time-erasure version of himself, GER's ability would still activate. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, maybe they should make ger have a similar thing to Crazy Diamond in which you have to land a hit on them to activate it. Also, you'd probably have to hold down the button or something in which it would have startup but only be perfect blockable, cancellable, and goes through block. Just my opinions on how ger's return to zero should work. Also this would prove the whole thing about golden experience requiem being able to just do a whole "ts, ts, go away, come around another day" type of bs.
It feels so good in a gang war to land a rtz on a ts, use awakening then relentlessly melt the hp of one of the players.
