Playing with other people who are kind and are just looking to have fun, is probably the most incredible thing in the world. It is a breath of fresh air in games where the grind seemingly never ends.
But I think they have RIU set up so you have to play with others to make progression easier. That is my guess, I may not be the best at deduction, but I try to find the positive even in the bleakest moments and things.
If that's the intentional design, that seems like a really evident flaw. Not everyone has friends that play these games (Never mind get themselves to level 60+ to fight Jotaro for example) and even then, I can beat Jotaro pretty easily by myself, it just still takes forever. All having another person there does is have someone share in your misery, and misery loves company after all

I was just throwing the possibility out there. I don't know what the creator's intentions were, and perhaps I never will, but I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt in pretty much anything game related.
I like your videos Eclipse, they help get my brain thinking critically, and they help me open my mind.

I think the RIU devs want you to play the game because maybe they want to know what the community/ players don't like and maybe they want to improve the game by listening to your complaints and fixing everything

I'm not the communities mouthpiece though TBH, especially when it comes to grind. It seems to me that I'm regularly the only one that has issues with fighting the same enemies over and over, and insane random drop chances.
@@EclipseGameplays well even though you're not the mouthpiece, i still think that your takes on the games you play are 100% valid and interesting. by personal experience, i was an OLD Stand Upright player, yes that garbage game, i had too much fun with it, but now seeing these games that are entirely different, but with the same "kill the same npc till certain level" idea is so tiring and stupid. I personally, would LOVE a game where you get stronger by actually fighting, not making it too hard nor to easy to level up, i dont think its a great idea to level up by fighting players since it will be kinda unfair for new players to fight higher levels or roam around finding new players to fight with, but a game where there are npcs, and the more you fight with players and npcs, the more skill you aquire, with new builds, abilities and content, is a game i'd crave for. But i got to say, making new games with new ideas is quite hard, which is quite understandable on why people make these games look simillar to each other in terms of grinding, i dont agree with them, but i can see where they are coming from.
I mean if your looking for a game like that you could play deepwoken. It falls a little too much much in the hard category but if you really want a challenge then play that.
Deepwoken is really not that good, for me yeah i know it has what i would like to play but first, its a paid access game, second, i really HATE deepwoken combat, the way it works feel so janky and unpolished, and third the new recent updates just makes me like the game even less, mainly because of the introduction of voidwalkers or whatever the name is, i just dont find it enjoyable anymore.
@@EclipseGameplays Thats genuinely how I feel, the game is so grindy for no reason, drops are so rare its not even fun, corpse parts are interesting but genuinely boring and annoying to get. Almost as bad as early YBA if not worse, game would be better if they just dialed the grind back a lil bit and simply made it more fun

This is actually impressive. I’ve seen so many RUclipsrs beg devs for free admin things, levels, you name it. I’m not saying it’s too much of a bad thing, everyone wants to make good videos. I’m just saying you have my respect for actually grinding it out in respect of the devs.
Eclipse is a good RUclipsr because he doesn’t pull his punches when he’s talking about games and genuinely seems human when he does say he likes parts of a game

I think Eclipse would genuinely enjoy playing SBR with friends, playing SBR alone is a nightmare. Trying to get a corpse part AND win ontop of that. I think if Eclipse did a YBA team of The Worlds, team of D4C:LT or somethin like that would be awesome for him to do and he'd have a lot more fun doing

I completely understand your points and stuff. Tbh, the only reason why im lvl 84 in RIU rn is because I play it with all of my friends. Hoping into a discord call and playing with them can make a bad jojo game turn into a good one. Plus the bosses/trials are wayyy easier. But like, if I ever hop into RiU and my friends aren't online then im just collecting my tokens then hoping off lol

I might end up in DDOS for asking this but i don't remember if u mentioned it so, will you play aut when the combat rework comes? A week ago was the first public testing and i had a blast, the combat is so much better, u can actually block now and escape combos (i know unimaginable in aut). The heat system i think is also good, maybe if you make a video on the next public testing you can give them good feedback. Anyway, have a great day!
They asked me to test it before it went public, and I messed around a bit and gave some feedback. Not sure what's changed since then, but I'll definitely be covering it for better or for worse
real good freaking knowledge from me, everytime you go in a server always choose "join public server" else your ping is gonna go to brazil, be sure to check servertime aswell they reset at 10hr or 9hr server uptime.

Alright hear me out on this, I do love the fact that your bringing back Roblox back, but honestly I loved your Battlefield and Tarkov videos more, something about those videos just feel great to watch and effort putted in it, so even tho Roblox content is coming back full force, I do wish you still make Battlefield and Tarkov content once in a while, cuz a few of us actually enjoy watching it

@@EclipseGameplays the worst part is that you can't even change it because of the community + youtube itself, and you couldn't keep with a channel headed to roblox and one headed to battlefield or sum. But the plan of keeping doing roblox on this one while playing and making a new community on another channel meanwhile dropping this one when the second one starts going well. Seems exhausting but at the same time a slow time paced plan but, possible I guess. (I think I messed up my english, sorry for any mystakes. You can cheese npcs because with pilot mode they will go after your stand but always turn to face your character
To sum up RIU, its a grinding game with somewhat decent stands to keep you busy for a while, even if its boring at times
in rare occasions do you meet a random guy in a game does he end up being a cool person and makes your day a little better!

20:31 that's the feeling that makes me keep playing final fantasy 14, the only MMO I ever liked to play
here is the best way i know of to beat SBR
step 1: gather 4 other people with tusk act 4 with high enough level to get a full skill tree on tusk act 4, lots of skills in the spec tree and good stats in the player skill tree
step 2: create a squad that your friends has to request to join so no randoms joins the squad and ruins it (sometimes that doesnt happen and the randoms are genuenily good players)
step 3: avoid trouble in all stages (except the final stage)
step 4: obliterate your enemies with the squad filled with people who has the big boy himself with them
step 5: enjoy your prizes
edit: i also forgot to mention, there are corpse parts in the stages but people fight over em so i just avoid getting any completely
To be honest I really hope devs fix the game since it definitely has a lot of potential

10:03 this is what happened to me when I played YBA and didn't waited 5-30 minutes for map to load
Two interesting thing of what Eclipse said on the vid
"Grind as requirement is bad game design and having it optional is good" "You can still do the same thing again, and still have it be gameplay, but when that gameplay stops being fun it turns into grind" are the reasons even with all their issues that i still praised AUT and that i stongly disagree with anyone that got mad over PvP having every spec/stand unlocked (and the lack of a level system)
The reason i don't play YBA and i really wanted to is because the grind is awful, and its not just the level grind if it was that i would be fine, but the grind for the stand you wanna use if you like switching is also awful (literally you can only get tusk by hacking or trading a skin)
People shouldn't be forced to deal with the awful pve that is 99% of the roblox RPGs (even the well made ones like GPO have shty pve to the point of them making a BR that has almost 0 PvE requirement to play it because they used to have less players than obby maps), if you're not trying to make good pve content, then by god don't force me to play your trash, its one of the most scummy actions that a roblox game dev does, which is doing that awful boring and long pve, just so the game can have high player count, because people are more often stuck in pve than playing a bunch of pvp, because unlike pvp, in pve they're forced to, it's a chore, pvp you're having fun (sometimes), pve if you're not playing like a minimum wage worker then you're not unlocking anything until you have 1 month into the game
So yes, if you think aut unlocking every stand/spec for PvP is wrong you're stupid, and no one should be praised with pvp advantage because they're stupid enough to punch legoman and his alternate skins for the spam of a week

2 xp weekend doesn't affect trial bosses, meaning it isn't 7 hours at all, 2xp weekend only affects challenges / quests.
thing is like eclipse said diavolo is faster than dio, and the giorno quest gives the most so the quest is affected by the 2x
That's...... arguably even worse. Doesn't that mean that if you buy a double XP booster with actual money, it doesn't work the way it's supposed to? Or is it just the weekend XP, which would be equally as backwards....

I think them adding a questline already done menu and you just need to click the quest that you already finished and add a phone item that you unlock in level 30 so YOU DONT HAVE TO FRICKING WALK AN ENTIRE MARATHON EACH MAP (but you still have to do it just once doeh so you dont have to walk along time)

in world of stands, when roblox got down for some time, when i tried to enter the sewers, It didnt work, my screen was entire black, yes and now i cant continue the storyline bc everytime i try to enter, It just turns into a black screen and i just can rejoin back, soo yeah just bc i dont have discord i cant try to ask the devs to fix that, however if anyone can please do it, _I NEED HELP_
