I don't think we will ever get anything from this government. I got a 28.00 dollar increse on my socil security. My snap was cut down immediately. I am elderly and on HUD. My recertification just renewed and my rent was raised by 64.00 dollars more more. So, since most of us are alredy struggling, it doesn't seem that the federal government want to help anyone.
You get according to what you paid into it. If your pay was low, that means you couldn't put much into ssi. There you go.

That's your fault for failing to plan. You only get what you are entitled to, your benefits are based on your contribution to SS. SSA also states ad nauseum that they were NOT meant to be a person's sole income and they should have other money sources. SNAP and HUD are also INCOME BASED.

Section 8 raised my rent 9
