I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. It's truly difficult when your attorney drops your case so close to the hearing. Remember, you're not alone in this - many people have faced similar challenges and still succeeded. Trust in your preparation and stay positive. You're strong, and I believe you can handle this. Take deep breaths, stay focused, and lean on your faith. We're all rooting for you.

I just received a Disability Update Report today and i already filled it out. I have been on disability for 14 years now and have only been reviewed twice. What should i expect once they receive my form? It was only a series of about 4 questions, when in the past there was a lot of paperwork. Thank you.

Hi, I applied for Ssdi December 2023/_I got approved in May, took 5 months.. I had back surgery last May 18th. 2023, its over a year and I'm worse before I had the surgery,. I have Stenosis and arthritis on my lower lumbar spine, I can't twist,I can't turn with out pain, always in pain. my left leg still hurts, and gets numb, can't walk for a long time. I'm 55/years old, been on my job for 35 years. Cook/Chef. I can't do what I love to do anymore, to much on my body. Its really depressing. I thank God I got approved, Ssdi says they will see how I'm doing in 5 to 7 years. I guest that's the CDB or CDR

You need to have another surgery if you had one surgery and you're still having this much problems than you need another one nine out of 10 you might need rods in your back I've had three surgeries in the last one the last surgery I had I had to get rods in my back the surgery I had before was fine for a few months then I stretch my legs in my bed waking up in my back popped when I tried to get up I fell completely right on my face the pain was so excruciating oh my god I've never went through something like that in my life the rods help I'm 62 now and I had the surgery about 5 years ago and it took about 3 years for it totally Hill but I can do stuff but when and if I sit down that's when the problem starts cuz trying to get back up you can't do nothing else after you do that like mowing your yard you mow the yard and then you go sit down and try to get up it's hell I wish you the best

So, 2 months ago I was told I was no longer disabled, after 20 years, and can go back to work. I am in worse shape now, physically, and now because of the stress of threats since January, my mental health is shot too. I have been dealing woth this battle all alone. I filed the appeal and have had to fill out paperwork but have not been told if the appeal has started. Does this mean the appeal process is stopping? Their investigation? Will they tell me anyrhing? I am lost and scared because idk if I will be homeless come July 3rd. Please, someone help me.

Yeah from the ones I seen filling. Wavier and a appeal is what information was given. The thing I went over a few times but they are taking years and then it's more than 5 years ago. It's hard to have evidence to show them now they want very large chuck of money as payments as of now they are taking the whole check to satisfy the overpayment
