    I already wrote a detailed response of what to do for ankles, calves, & knees in the comments, but here it is again linked in detail:
    I'll work.on a future follow along workout video specifically for Calves, Ankles, &.Shins. I appreciate everyone's feedback!😁
    The two best Calf & Ankle Stretches you will ever need:
    Dynamic Calf Stretch
    ruclips.net/user/shortsocuCqOTjxtQ
    Dynamic Ankle Flexion Stretch
    ruclips.net/user/shorts8V9XS5zvylY
    Now that those areas are warmed up, try these mobility exercises to get extra bloodflow & better circulation into those muscles, starting with your feet.
    Plantar Fascia.Massage
    ruclips.net/user/shortsOumN4wNNGSg
    Calf/ Shin Massage
    ruclips.net/user/shortsaP7d9ZfImsU
    Foam Roll Legs
    ruclips.net/user/shorts3_Gjro79raA
    (If You Want A Full 16 Minute Lower Body Foam Rolling Workout, check out the link below)
    ruclips.net/video/SWTQXr3etyU/видео.html
    Knee Massage
    ruclips.net/user/shortst0Yk2pUp6Og
    Terminal Knee Extension.(Best Exercise Pre/ Post Surgery or After a Knee Injury)
    ruclips.net/user/shortsdaia_M_ZKN0
    Lastly, let's strengthen those ankles, knees, & feet💯
    Toe Curls
    ruclips.net/user/shorts5CQIsYSIMtc
    Calf Raises
    ruclips.net/user/shortsWyjUjSFAHoc
    My Favorite Lower Body Stability Strengthening Exercise
    //Standing Bird Dog//
    ruclips.net/user/shortsGuPsNaNEoD0
    For the ultimate test, finish with a:
    //Squat Stretch//
    (No, you don't need a Snowboard like in this video, but it does make it much easier to sit into this position)
    ruclips.net/user/shortsP9Kyb99qbCM
    If you struggled with the Single Leg Lying Hip Flexor Quad Stretch, practice the
    // Half Kneeling Hip Flexor Quad Stretch//
    ruclips.net/user/shorts2g2P529dTH0
    The only series of extra moves I would add here that I will have videos on soon would be:
    Tibialis Curls, Ankle Rehab Series: Circles/ ABCs/ Point & Flex/ In & Out & a Child's Pose to really stretch the top of the ankles. But in the video, you'll get that out of the Single Leg Lying Hip Flexor Quad Stretch too.
    The Half Kneeling Hip Flexor Quad Stretch I linked above is the one of 5 Stretches I practice the most right now to help with my right hip & quad. It is EXTREMELY tight from years of in-line skating jumping flights of stairs & always landing dominantly on my right leg. I really started paying the price for that last year.
    The other 4 Stretches I practice the most are:
    //Pigeon Pose// (My Favorite)
    ruclips.net/user/shortsua-jw85NxjA
    If you are having a hard time with that one, try a variation of it on an exercise bench:
    //Half Pigeon//
    ruclips.net/user/shortsBnGL2HNYh40
    //Weighted Butterfly//
    ruclips.net/user/shorts1GHt0kn5ixk
    Chinese/ Straddle Splits (Middle or Side Splits) & American Splits (Front or Vertical Splits) - These are the two I'm looking to. master right now and ABSOLUTELY struggle with the most! I would love to collab with a gymnast on these, since I still have a lot of work to do here😁
    I hope all of this information helps. If you read all of this, thank you. Let me know if there is anything more I can do to help🙏

    Great video! As a road marathoner for the past 5 years, I'm always looking for new tips on motivation, getting stronger and preventing dreaded injuries. It seems like yoga and stretching are a great way to excel! Your post is very inspirational. As a fellow RUclipsr, I love sharing my knowledge and experiences to help other runners. I know how much goes into these videos! Keep posting - I just subscribed!

      Hey Dev, I appreciate the thoughtful comment!
      Nearly 3 years ago, I tore the crap out of my acl/mcl doing crazy inline skating tricks I shouldn't have been attempting anymore like in my teens & early 20's😅
      I never got surgery and rehabbed everything myself with all the mobility & rehab techniques I've picked up over the years.
      Last year, I finally got to a place where I could hire a massage therapist, permanently! It's been the best investment ever🙏🏼
      I've always enjoyed sprinting, and would only run casually just because it was the easiest easy for me to get leaner. But, when I injured my knee, I hadnt ran in a such a long time, almost 3 years.....
      When Covid Hit, I told myself I was going to do everything I could to build up my lung capacity. In April.of 2020 I started running again with a firefighter and a pro runner a few months back to get things kickstarted. I nearly died every run for the first few months😅 Yet, I cut down about 15lbs of unwanted body fat, all due to running as the catalyst!
      I just turned 36, and for the first time fell in love with trail running, it's such a blast👊🏼
      As always, I try and make something positive out of any negative situation.
      I just subscribed to you as well and will look out for your running tips👌🏼 Running is actually a complete unknown world to me and I'm always looking to learn more and improve on things that I'm not an expert in.
      Glad you got your channel going👍🏼 Everyone should have their own channel nowadays, it's a great way to share your passion with the 🌎✌🏼

      @@Frankwallfitness Very inspiring story! Glad you are able to run. Trails really are so much fun - I'm going to keep that for my easy days for now and continue pursuing road marathons! Thank you for your support! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE FROM YOUR CHANNEL!

      This is so awesome to hear Melissa! You just made my morning😊
      To make things even better, I like using this Foam Rolling routine to really help loosen up any tight spots.
      ruclips.net/video/SWTQXr3etyU/видео.html
      I also HIGHLY recommend picking up one of these double massage balls. You can get the standard one, but the Vibrating one works very well at massaging your calves, shins, Achilles, glutes, arms & Hamstrings. I have a Massage Ball Mobility routine here.

    Since the video is called lower body mobility, it would have been nice with more exercises for knees and ankles. Not just hips.

    • @Frankwallfitness
      @Frankwallfitness  Год назад +3

      If you're looking to help with your knees, check out this video.
      ruclips.net/video/Gl0ugmrcJXs/видео.html
      You will need a strong Resistance Band towards the end of that video. The best thing to help Rehab your knees is a terminal knee extension. You can also see an quick video on this here.
      ruclips.net/user/shortsdaia_M_ZKN0?feature=share
      Then, master the bird dog to make your knee, ankle & hip stabilizers stronger.
      ruclips.net/user/shortsGuPsNaNEoD0?feature=share
      For ankles, these are my two favorite moves.
      Dynamic Ankle Flexion Stretch
      ruclips.net/user/shorts8V9XS5zvylY?feature=share
      Dynamic Calf Stretch
      ruclips.net/user/shortsocuCqOTjxtQ?feature=share
      Your Hips are the energy pathway to your body. Start with your hips, and everything else will follow.
      If you try all of these moves, let me know if it helps?

      I still encourage you to check out those videos so you can learn how to treat those areas, since it seemed specific. I want you to become self sufficient😁
      Overall, This lower body foam rolling video will address EVERYTHING from knees, ankles, hips & glutes.
      Check this one out.
      ruclips.net/video/SWTQXr3etyU/видео.html
      Do you ever Foam Roll Your body regularly?
      When I wake up in the morning, or finish my workouts, I tend to focus on 3 to maybe 4 main mobility drills to address my problem areas.
      So, are you just struggling with your knees and ankles?
      Is there anything else that you have limitations on or need help improving?
