technically it is a dedicated power button because it does nothing else other than power the computer on and off but yes it is on the keyboard now
We actually had this in highschool in 2011 I remember we got them to replace our crappy HP Mini Netbooks. This was my first Mac experience and made me love Macs.

Upgraded to macOS OCLP Sur Patcher in 2023 and this devices should be running it without problems and still compatible with only 4GB of rams in it..

no, I'm using one now, you get used to it after a few minutes of use, now if I look at a 13 inch screen it looks too big. The portability of this thing is incredible, 11" is the sweet spot.

You know... I honestly used to watch this video once a week... I don't have to watch it anymore, 'cause today I lived this experience!
I've got the exact same one, and I'm loving it. the only problem I've had is it sometimes crashes if you launch a ridiculous amount of things ( like all your apps ).
Apart from that this is by far the best laptop I've ever owned.
do you have any of the new M1 Macs?
it still amazes me how advanced today's laptops are. that thing is the size of a couple of stacked papers.

defenently buy macbook air, i just sold my ipad 3 cause..... ye u get bored of using the touch all the time, i missed the keyboard, so now i will be buying the macbook air, and i recommend u to do the same.

Natural scrolling is more intuitive. One finger moves the cursor, 2 fingers moves what’s under the cursor. I’d hardly call it “reverse”

Just bought one (11.6/4GB/128/i5) and it`s actually fast enough to be my primary system (connected to an 23" monitor and keyboard/mouse). :)

I really like the idea of the Air but I prefer the idea of getting my work done and getting my games out there smoothly :)
I'm planning to buy the fresh one. It is simply not reasonable enough not to wait a few more months for the new version (hopefully a retina display) with new cpu and maybe more RAM.
@DetroitBORG Oh right, i just thought with the more powerful processor coupled with the SSD the macbook pro would be a lot faster

Also, I just read that Apple is doing a recall on the iMac 2011 models for the Seagate HDD that is used on the iMacs. Having read this, I am not sure I would want to invest on a new iMac 2011 just yet. Is the new Mac Mini a good second choice to the iMac?
You think this exact model is good for Imovie when editing a video?
The foldable prongs is also unique to the Philippines. This is the only kind used here.

@DetroitBORG, you do truly great videos. I just got my very first Mac a few days ago because i've just started University, an iMac (21.5", 500GB, 4GB) and I really love it. I got a free £65 iTunes card and a 12% discount too for being a student! Best computer i've ever had! I'll be getting a MacBook Air (11", 128GB, 4GB) in a few months time for my portable laptop!
I wish i could do that sometime.

Great Unboxing!... I've been waiting to see and hoping that the rumors were true for an update, and I'm so glad they did... I cant wait to buy one :) I have one quick question, would it be worth ordering online and upgrading just the ram to 4gb on the base air model? I have a 500gb portable usb drive that I carry around, so I don't think the 64gb would be a problem. Any thoughts? Thanks :)

I like how they changed the direction of 2 finger scrolling. If the cursor moves down when you move one finger down, why would the content move up when you move two fingers down?

i believe that your apple id is just the email that you choose to register with apple. you don't actually need a apple mail account. it could be hotmail, gmail, whatever mail.
