    What temp and time I should put my jerky in my dehydrator, like you said in your video I need to start at low temps like 130? And after 1h I crank it up to 165 for how long? Sorry for all the questions its my first time trying to make jerky and I just bought an excalibur.

    Dangit!! I shoulda watched this video sooner. I just put a batch of jerky in the dehydrator (using your “How to make the worlds best beef jerky in a dehydrator “video recipe).
    I didn’t realize that was just a name someone came up with for that recipe. Now I see this video and it looks way way way better. I’ll have to try this recipe next. Thanks for sharing your secrets with us.
    PS. Did you notice see my follow up comment on your Bert’s chili video? We took 1st place in the cook off. About 25 entries. Later

      Man, I just made an incredible batch of jerky for next weeks video on the 50 State inspired jerky recipes. It’s for Arkansas. It’s Sweet and Spicy jerky made with honey and maple syrup! Guys at work flipped out when I brought it into work today. I really hope you try this small batch recipe some time soon. I’m fixing to hit the hay. Gotta get up early for work. Have a great weekend! 😁👍

    Throw it in the freezer if you don't have a slicer lol, I get it nice and thin. Takes longer but the quality is awesome

    What is your personal favorite recipe (excluding hot) for making jerky and why?

    • @VansWorld
      @VansWorld  3 года назад +2

      My favorite is the steakhouse jerky that I use to sell. I love the flavor of A1 steak sauce is why I like it so much. So I have some older videos on RUclips. Like the lemon pepper jerky marinade. You can use that exact recipe and exclude the lemon pepper and add one bottle of A1 sauce. You can even use the Walmart brand of A1. I’m here to tell ya that if you like the flavor of A1 then you will love that marinade. Plus you can use that marinade for grilling meats too. Very universal. I’d like to add that the steakhouse jerky was my number 1 seller and my family’s favorite too.

      Hey man. No problem at all. I enjoyed it. I’ll tell ya though. The main part of the video came out with no audio. Lmao. I had to buy a USB Mic and learn how to voice over using FCPX. Popped my cherry for sure. I believe you’ll love the video. It will be live this Thursday.
      So I took some packages I vacuum sealed to work. Man people just love the shit out of this jerky.
      The one thing I don’t like about the steakhouse recipe is how the brown sugar will sweat. But people love the way it sweats. They say they like the wet coating. Well that’s the brown sugar. You’ve really got to mix the marinade up good till all the Sugar granules are dissolved and I didn’t do that on this batch of steakhouse Jerky
