@@SKa-tt9nm Ant was always cool with Adam even when they went at each other. Opie took a comment Adam made to heart (imagine that). Adam said “what are you doing here?” when Ope was visiting his studio. Plus the fact that Adam went on Howard’s show early on really didn’t sit right with Opie because Opie’s a man child who takes everything as a slight and expects loyalty.
I mean, if a radio show airs and nobody hears it, did it really air?

I think that may be just historical context. Nowadays MSNBC is far more hysterical than Fox News because liberals are forced to support the party line while Fox is in a position where they can offer obvious philosophical criticism of that party line, the same way the liberal media outlets gained cultural credibility during the Bush Administration. Also, Fox's female anchors are far more placid and likable.

Any news channel that employs the likes of SE Cupp, Charles Krauthammer, and any number of suicide blondes as respected commentators is a parody as well. Both Fox and MSNBC play to niche audiences. CBS ABC and regular NBC play on the squishy corporate 50 yard line.

@@FallicIdol I’ve never once in my life that can remember where I was offended or upset at a joke. If I don’t laugh at something, its because I just don’t find it funny, and if I don’t find it funny it’s not because I’m offended. I can’t think of a single time I’ve ever thought any joke went too far.
What I’m saying I didn’t like was Jimmy in that early to mid 00s period where he would just project such anger seemingly partly out of genuine emotion but also partly to put (I think) the shock jock angry guy persona on and I prefer silly Jimmy of 06ish on.
