I would have picked magnesium glycinate rather than citrate
Mag glycinate (or taurate, or threonate) is better for sleep. Mag citrate is usually more useful for constipation- shoots right through you, so might not absorb into you much :o
The fluoride in our tap water is calcifying our pineal glands, thus sleep is truly stuffed...but as a 39yo adult with ADHD sleeping is hard and my brain is active all the time.
I have well water and am not connected to city water so I guess that doesn’t apply to me.
Yes we need to actively reduce over stimulation. ADHD autism are not aloud to enjoy social life and any excitement if anything makes me super happy I’m stuffed as well as upsetting.
Great job dr I love each and every content u have uploaded
Magnesium has never gotten me anywhere sleep. Relaxed my nervous system? Yes improved my mental health? Yes. But sleep no. Mind you I can’t take high doses due to mcas or I get chest pains. Melatonin has regulated (somewhat) my non 24 hr sleep disorder but glycine is really the supplement that gives me better quality and longer sleep.
I need to to have that panel testing done…..
Not a comment about magnesium, but You have never mentioned the 2 foods, or food extracts that are highest in antioxidents on the orac scale. They both blow blueberries out of the water. The first is an ingredient that is common in traditional winter cold and flu remedies, mulled wine & chai. In powder form, cloves are over 100000 on the orac scale. In essential oil form, they measure over one million. A supplement that is even higher on the orac scale than cloves, however, is astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is extracted from the reddish colored algae that gives salmon and shrimp their pinkish color and health giving properties. With an orac score of over 2,800,000 it has the highest antioxident level known so far. I found it to have a really beneficial impact on my brain in natural form. (You can get natural or synthetic versions) blueberries on the other hand vary between 2 - 14k on the orac scale. Id be curious how you found the impact of astaxanthin. Red krill oil also contains astaxanthin.
Actually L-theanine is the one that helps me go to sleep immediately.
Melatonin is highly overrated. Magnesium i find very useful but for other reasons.
Decaf green tea is another way to get it.
melatonin😅 no its make you bongaakkk
Can you do a video on the supplements you take daily? I think it could be helpful
Magnesium, vitamin B6 (at least 10 mg as P5P) and Melatonin before bed ensure excellent sleep.
Thanks for the video
thank you
I wish people using the title of "Dr" would specify what their Doctoral Degree is( Medical Doctor. Naturoathic, Chiropratic, other) Please.
I am taking melatonin 3mg tabs in night before bed, getting more deep and happy sleep 😊😅
kapaaaloang
Grounding the feet on the earth at sunrise, and sunset helps reset the sleep cycle.
versus doesnt make really make sense, cause mg is essential
