Absolutely, easily overlooked but very appreciated by those guys for sure. I remember hunting with my uncle when I was young, my aunt got up every morning to see us out the door and was there with a warm lunch and dinner in the evening. RIP Aunt Char, I’ll never forget that.

“We heard sparring” haha it’s the Northeast it was another hunter with rattling antlers.
That guy went home and told his wife “I heard a grunt and a wheeze just over the ridge but it wouldn’t come in”

I love how aggressive Zach is in his hunting. He's never says things like "I saw a nice buck today but he was too far off to shoot"
He's more like "there's a buck 100 yards to the left, if we hurry we can cut him off at the bottom of that Ridge!"

I think I hear deer sparing.. most hunter: maybe they will come this way... Zach: let's go get em. I gotta think like that some more. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Tomorrow I'm going in to stalk a 150+ ground and pound style. I've been watching tons of yalls videos and learned quite a bit, will be adapting that in my hunt tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be in the chips. If I kill the big buck I saw scouting I'll come back here and post a pic lol

There are plenty of them on those ridges.
The big sign you find down low are most likely from night walkers.
Find a saddle on top of one of those ridges. South and/or east side will be thicker and leeward with the cooler north and westerly winds. They don't appear to be roaming yet. When they do they'll use those saddles. They're lazy that way.

Man you guys found good sign fast! I know you already left but I hope you put more time on the stand over the sign and one will show eventually. I've hunted PA my whole life and some of the best spots you only see a buck every few sits. Not like hunting out west

Very true, it can get pretty tough here...but dedication and persistence pays off

PA public land can be hot or miss but when you're hot you're hot and well when you're not you're not. But if I was zach I probably would have taken that buck in the clear cut. Definitely legal in PA
