I’m ready to see the whole THP crew hunt together. Haven’t seen y’all all together this season yet. I know y’all are spread out hunting public land all over the place, but be nice to see the gang back together. Keep up the awesome hunting content guys! Favorite channel on RUclips by far! 👍🏼
I really appreciate how you guys keep it real... Showing the bad days and the good days. If we just want to watch huge bucks getting killed every video, that won't match what any of us experience while hunting. We don't need hunting porn. We need real life, and you guys deliver that. I learn so much from hearing you guys talking about strategy, why you're trying what you're trying, and obviously it doesn't always pan out. But I feel like I can accelerate my learning by watching your channel. And watching one of the guys miss a 10 point on this PLC series made me feel a lot better. I hit a branch the other day and missed a doe I was shooting at. Also called in another doe that spooked when my stand made a noise, because it didn't see a deer where it thought there would be one. I used to feel like a failure every time a deer would blow at me or get my wind. But after watching you guys I realize it's just a part of hunting. I do careful scent control, but the wind doesn't always cooperate. Thanks for keeping it real, all of you!! I love watching your channel!!
Thanks for putting out your videos, I’m a 68 year old guy that has two bad ankles and can barely walk. I used to love to deer hunt and scout. Now you guy’s are keeping it alive for an old guy. Love it.
Bill, Lee, Tiffany, Stan, Mark, Terry, Waddell, etc, etc, etc, don't even hold a candle to you guys. Plus, they're hunting farmed, half domestic animals like all the big-hat people in Ohio. Thanks for REAL content. It's the greatest.
The “concerned lady” seemed more interested in calling the cops thinking our boys were up to no good….But Aaron, always a gentleman handled it very well…
This hunting group is just what I like . Everyday guys trying their hardest. So respected to not be hunting farmed deer and high fence . I highly respect that .
You all keeping it real and showing the successes, the failures, and the trials of real hunting is what keeps me pushing on through a tough season myself. Your channel has helped me to really learn to enjoy the hunt and not just the kill. Keep it up.
Yeah, I'm actually about to unsubscribe. I have enough of my own failures. I don't need to spend 30 minutes of my time watching others fail, too. Unsubbed.
@@rickstark85 this is a HUNTING channel, Buddy, not a KILLING channel. They're showing us their real experience and I can appreciate that. To each their own. Hope your season takes a turn for you, Bud. Best of luck.
@@rickstark85 ahh right on. Sarcasm and such is so easily lost in translation on the internet 😆. I just know how fucking frustrating hunting can be, So I could easily see where your stance would have been coming from. Hope you catch your target buck slipping, Buddy!
Huge fan of all those guys, but I just love the Untamed guys. I wanna be huntin buddies with Josh so bad lol. Dude just seems good as gold and would keep me in stitches.
Thanks to everyone for putting on the challenge! Truly enjoy watching the footage and strategy used by each group. Best line from this video was Dan imitating the “Terminator Deer” ! Keep it up guys, quite a few solid days remaining.
I always have said"this is why it is called hunting"!! I think y'all have done a great job of it! It's the "almost" that keeps us interested and getting up to go out again! I have thoroughly enjoyed each episode, and have learned more! Thanks so much for your commitment! God bless!
It would have been great for you guys to get a few more deer , but I think that a bunch of friends getting together too hunt is as good as it gets . Memories made for a lifetime . And what makes it just a little better is you guys shared it with us . Thanks for sharing .
Truly enjoy the public land challenge. The best hunts I have ever had in my life are new area hunts for a week or longer. Learning new areas is definitely a challenge! Would be awesome to do a drawing for one person and a guest to come on the public land challenge with all you all in 2022.
Cudos to y'all. I hunted hard this week and came out empty handed. Watching this made me feel better. It's just a part of hunting sometime. Good luck to y'all the rest of this season
"It was a calamity." Big guffaw on that one, was not expecting that word. A beautiful sounding, understated word, that speaks volumes. Now I'm just waiting to slip that little beauty into a casual conversation and see the reaction. I bet I'll get a laugh too.
As an indiana native. I have been anticipating this for years. I'm glad you made it to Indiana and I'm very humbled to know everyone struggled. We have a lot of big deer on public land and the terrain makes them very difficult to hunt. Great public land challenge! Would love to see you guys give it another whack. Secondary ridges during the day and drainage ditches in the evening.
As an Indiana guy myself, you guys did great. Private has become so much more popular here. Illinois on the left and Ohio on the right! Hoosier national has lots of ground. Hope you guys come back! You know there are biggins now!
This challenge looks like it would be a great time. I’ve never hunted public or hunted outside of VA at all but hope to someday have an opportunity to do something like this with a good group of guys like yourselves. Love these, keep it up 🤟🏼
Great job Aaron and the Hunting Public team keep up all your great content. Really look forward to the challenge you guys do every year. Good luck in Iowa.
Perry county Indiana is probably one of the hardest places to hunt between the swirling winds low deer numbers and it seems that every deer knows where the humans are at all times. I’ve been hunting here my entire life and its been a battle every year. Glad you enjoyed the area hope to see you back
Always enjoy your videos and the PLC brings some very knowledgeable people together to give us as much advice as we can absorb. Great group of guys right there and you all are a blast. Be safe fellas.
I'm from indiana and it's always a tough hunt you boys did a good job..and its refreshing to watch your hunts, other videos they seem to always tag out..and this is more realistic..
tbh I think what she did was great. Road hunters are assholes and get what is coming to them but she did come across kinda like a Karen when she said "can I help you" like she wasn't the person who pulled up to them lol
I loved watching the challenges you guys have done, the Ft. McCoy, PA, and this one in Indiana. You all looked worn out by day six. If you guys have it in you, do more. It's very interesting. Thank you guys.
I'm in NW INDIANA and have 2 more days of my rutcation left. Hanging up the bow and taking the smoke stick out this weekend. Love being in the woods but it still feels like a waste of time when you come up empty handed. Glad to see the "real" pros share in the struggle 👍 if all else fails I'm taking the rifle to Wisconsin Nov 26-27. Love the content as usual Gentlemen.
So, after watching this series of videos I don't feel as bad now as I went 12 sits and saw one deer from mid October thru first week of November. Luckily I got last minute permission on some private land locally and saw 2 bucks first evening of which the shooter did not come close enough. Next morning I saw a lone doe and later a group of 8 or 9 does but no buck. I have permission for a few more days and hope to get a chance at a shooter. Love these videos that show what the real world public land hunting is.
It's over already. Time goes to fast. All of you mesh together good an hunted hard. Scouted even harder. Hopefully you guys can do it again. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
I love the videos, it shows how most of us hunters have to struggle to get on deer and we don't all have the privilege of private land. Keep up with the great content.
I sure loved seeing the the team hold the challenge in my home state this year, I feel bad everybody didn't tag out and actually very surprised because I've hunted state land for over 40 years and I've taken alot of nice deer. The advantages as a local here i think is I get more scouting time but in all my years the one thing I do you didn't do is when I find deer during the rut I stay in that area for at least three or four days before I move because if their in that spot today there will be either different deer or the same deer come back to that spot in the next day or two . I think all that moving from aera to aera you were always just a step or two too late I bet if Dan stays in one core aera for three straight days he'll take a nice mature buck. I hope we get updated rather Dan got a deer after everyone left
You guys should come down to Florida and battle the swamp snakes and gators to try and shoot some Florida Public land deer…. There’s big ones down here but they are hard to hunt! Love y’all’s videos keep up the good work! Love the videos
Second buck down for me on November 3 my biggest one. Thp keeps giving me tips the beast gives me advice on how when and to keep after it to be successful had some blunders this year until everything worked out. Thanks thp keep up the great videos.
I feel for Dan. Had a similar situation years back. Had moved my set about 50-100 yards closer to where all the deer movement had been earlier that morning. I was going up a tree with my climber and about 6 feet up the tree a doe runs by on a trail at about 6 feet from my tree, followed by a couple small bucks, and then a third buck that I would have loved to shoot. This final buck sees me and stops at about 10-15 yards from me and stares at me. The entire time, my bow is on the ground with a string tied to it and the other end to my climber. It just all happened so fast I didn't have time to try to get my bow up. Once I did finally attempt to pull my bow up, the last buck ran off for good.
I live just across the river from where yall are at in KY. Just started hunting IN public this year. Its tought but i absolutely love hunting big forest areas. Wish i coulda stopped and seen yall! 🤙

Deer very difficult to pattern this season in Kentucky. Very widespread acorn crop. Deer can bed and feed at the same location and don't have to travel. Young bucks have been chasing for several weeks, big boys are firing up now.
