James, we just swapped our V6 F-Type for a 2.0 First Edition. Yes; it's 40bhp lower but it's also 52kg lighter at the front. Overall, on typical roads, this makes it just as fast, and even better at handling corners. I actually prefer it.
The downside is, possibly, that the exhaust sound is not as mythical - but, for a 2-litre, straight 4, it's remarkable. I wouldn't recommend using the control which opens the exhaust valves - this means the valves are constantly opening and closing when the revs move over and under 1500. Rather, use dynamic mode: this way the valves open and stay open, no matter what the rpm.
I'm pretty sure you can do a flash tune to have control over that valves
The P300 F Type is rear wheel drive. It is not available in AWD.
@11:00 Nope. I've got a 2019 and I prefer the previous instrument cluster. The P300 is a rear wheel drive w/296hp turbo (not AWD). She's plenty fast and handles better than the other models because there is less weight over the front axle.
This review is a bit frustrating as it’s inaccurate! To say the cabin and the boot are small is simply not true, as it’s a sports car not an SUV. I think you also need to review the seat adjustment because I’m 6ft and have lots of headroom with the seat lowered, and I know many owners taller and larger than I am. If you are considering the F-Type go and judge for yourself!🙄👍🏻

Does the seat have a function to lower the bottom cushion? My Honda coupe is small inside, but I can lower the seat about 2 inches.

Glad you enjoyed and yes but for me that was adjusted to have it all the way down just a tight fit overall
Just swapped our V6 F-Type for a First Edition 2.0 (fixed spoiler). The seats are fully adaptable - even the bottom cushion can move forward and back, up and down, and it can be raked at an angle. Not sure about all the models, but ours also has an adjustable lumbar cushion.
@@johnmachinmegavegan8378 Thank you! I have an appointment now to go check one out next week. It looks like the people over 6'1" are having headroom/windshield visibility issues. I am exactly 6'1" so I have my fingers crossed!

Also, it’s not AWD…that’s only available on the P450!

It does get completely washed out in direct sunshine🙄
