These guys are incredibly talented beasts. This one was definitely my favourite of 2023. So incredibly well done. Hard to remember this is a capella. Chicago (the band) saw this and invited Voiceplay to sing with them at the 40th anniversary concerts in November. Of course they killed it 😉. Looking fwd to more VP... 🌹🕊.
Check out Warriors- it was the first (and only other) time Layne brought out his violin, and it was spectacular. J None also plays - but Layne is the scene stealer. It won him the aka VioLayne.
He is playing it in the thumbnail, so not really. And any time I mention Warriors and don't comment on J None, 3-5 aggrieved people complain. @@DravenGal
@@Aurora-cv5to Ahh, I know the type. Oddly, no one's ever chastised me for not mentioning J plays in it, guess I've been lucky. I never noticed the thumbnail, I just say there's another "surprise" in the song.
Im honestly not a big Metallica fan, but this is one of my fav voiceplay songs. Its one of their masterpieces for me. So glad you finally got to experience it! 😊💜💜
It is fascinating concentrating on Geoff's baseline, he's incredible as a human bass guitar, but his bass singing is just superb. Your enjoyments of this was a delight to watch. :) Oh and Layne has a beautiful voice too, when he decides to sing on a video.
Hello Shane AWESOME VoicePlay is my favorite A cappella group, (even though I like all the others 🤣) This cover is particularly incredible Eli (my favorite, lol, his voice is fabulous) reaches the top of the heavens!!! 😁🤣🥰 They capture the spirit of the song in their own style, and never cease to amaze me and this overall energy of this whole song is really great 👍🔥💥 goosebumps too 💥
VioLayne breaks another reactor. He earned that title in their video "Warriors". In it he plays all the way through. In this one it's in place of the guitar solo in the original. I always love your reactions Shane. Keep up the greatness that you are.
Listening to NEM once again! J None just dropped a new video - solo and original song - Am I Here which is superb. Oh! Also please do a reaction to VPs from last week - The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Cesar has a couple of new high notes. His previous high note that I knew of was G#5 in Dream On (Aerosmith) but here it's a C6 and D6. Everyone in this gets an A+ from me. By the way, Chicago who was doing a concert for Chicago and Friends Nov 17-18, 2023. They heard VoicePlay's version of this and invited them to come and sing. Chicago's trumpeter was sitting next to Geoff as he was doing his normal things - those low notes, high notes, bass guitar sounds. He was staring at Geoff trying figure out how he could do that. I think (not sure) that in February at least a portion of Chicago's concert will be televised.
I too, prefer this to the original, and the original is great. If someone had told me a Metallica song in A Cappella, I would have said they were crazy.
Would you please react to the acapella group Home Free. Fantastic voices and drummer Adam Rupp is out of this world. Their bass Tim Foust is one of the best out there. Some of my favorite songs are "Skull and Bones", and ""Brothers In Arms".
@@Gael4ce Help what, exactly? I know the difference between a violin and a fiddle. It was just a silly question. Not that I don't appreciate the chance to broaden my musical horizons, mind you, but I'm pretty good, really. Thanks again.

The bas singer "chills overload"
Great reaction! What a fantastic arrangement......awesome!
Terrific version of this by #VoicePlay and terrific reaction; and VioLayne is epic!
Your reaction was perfect. Hello to Violayne!
I think this is my favorite of theirs. Layne broke the internet with the violin . Completely unexected. Great reaction!!

They did this last January at my birthday. I love this as much as it seems that you do.
It was amazing 💥I've heard this song so much in my life that probably why I never reacted to it for awhile but I'm glad i eventually did.
Great reaction!!
Glad you enjoyed😊
Nice 🙂

ear candy!
I think this song by Voiceplay is still breaking reactors.
Well done! Please do more VP reactions. I'm here for it...🎉❤

Trivia: Who here knows the difference between a violin and a fiddle? No cheating by web searching now! Counting on the Honor System!
@@Gael4ce Wow. I was just looking for "The music you play on it." But thanks for all the interesting info.
@@Gael4ce Um. Thanks. I think my sister would better understand that, being a music teacher and all. But I'll give a listen.
