In this video I used a cheater ingredient which is Hondashi. This is a Japanese product which also works great for these Korean dishes. To use Hondashi you add 1 cup of water to 1 tsp of the boullion.

Haha right! I hope you dont mind that I referenced your dashi video. Dont have my own yet so it only made sense :)
The word "deceptive" is right on target when describing delicious egg drop soup. I have made it as instructed, then made it again and again with different broths, added greens or garlic chives, added a touch of sesame oil and fish sauce, and it tastes amazing every time. I use an earthenware pot like yours, I think it must have magic properties. This soup is always more delicious than expected. It is stupid-simple to make, cheap, fast, and lets me use up bits of leftovers. Thank you!

Great content like always Johnny! One tip I have is adding some corn starch to the egg drop soup broth to thicken it that way all the egg doesnt flow to the top!
That is def a pro tip. It's good as is but I agree I think a thicker brother would def make it even better. Gonna do this next time thx!
When would you add it? Pre boil. Make starchy water mix and add a little?
@@johnnytries Yes when you boil your stock, add in the starch slurry. Then add your eggs after
