- From first being diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2012 to having a thyroidectomy in 2016 and cancer treatments in 2017. I have brought you along the way. In 2021 I gave birth to my 3rd child (1st baby post thyroidectomy) and Im here to share with you what that process looked like both before, during and after baby.

I had total thyroidectomy and papillary thyroid cancer last November and I watched all of your videos. Some of them a few times. I can't describe how much they gave me hope and helped me get through it hearing it from someone who truly gets it. God bless you and thank you for showing kindness towards others. Your amazing.

@@MichelleRother, I am so Happy you replied! This made my whole day ❤ I was 33 when they diagnosed me and they found it when I was getting a physical for adoption because I want to be a Mom. The news devastated me but I've been watching you get through it and you now are a mom and it's so awesome. This year has been rough for me but I'm getting better slowly but surely mentally and physically. You have been my inspiration and I wish you the best with everything in your life ❤

The first thing I did when I opened my eyes from surgery was ask the doctor ( the hundredth time) if I can still be a mother one day. Thank you for sharing this gives hope. Xx

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 2 years ago and again recurrent surgery just a month ago. Now I have hypocalcemia too 🙄 found your video positive ❤️❤️ thank you for sharing.

I just found out last year (2021) that i also had thyroid cancer. Had my surgery for TT Nov of 2021 and now going in for RAI in 3 weeks.
Naturally, I'm anticipating and little nervous but youve been a huge help. I still dont have any children but you've shown me its possible. Whatever is part of God's plan! Sending you so much love!!!!

Found out this week that I have thyroid cancer. I have to go back for another surgery to remove the right side of my thyroid next month. Thank you for the videos, it really does help when you are going through this experience. X
Hi, What kind of thyroid cancer did you have? 13 year old went through lobectomy. I wanted to know what are the chances of recurrences. Can you please let me know what state was the time during your initial diagnosis? Was that lymph nodes, distance metastasis?
Thanks for this series of videos. I'm starting on my journey. It started with high calcium, which was due to hyperparathyroidism, they did surgery to remove 2.5 out of 4 parathyroids. My first throat slit. In this process they notice a tumor. A year later there was an follow-up ultrasound and the tumor had tripled in size and scored a TR-5 (highly suspicious of malignancy). I'm now waiting for my biopsy.
Hey lady! Going through my journey now!! Just had my TT done last week 16 weeks pp. Right side taken 8 weeks pp. I found out about my ThyCA right when I found out I was prego.thanks for sharing your stories… def decreased my anxiety about this whole thing. 🙏🏽

I’m afraid I’m fixing to be in the same boat. I’m a 54 year old male. Hard to swallow, body temp can’t regulate, tired all the time, fixing to go for the ultrasound. You sound much better and look healthier by a lot.

Going through this now ! I had my total thyroidectomy before 2 months ago and next month I will get Radioactive iodine , before One hour I was crying and depressed and suddenly your video appear infront me and you say every thing will be ok , I feel this is as sign to not lose the hope . I have only one child and I was planning to get pregnant but for sure after RAI ! Good bless you and your family

I do much wanted to do this yt journey and stuff. But I didn’t think to actually document to after being completely healed. I had mine surgery jan 2014. I sounded just like you but ended up needing an injection for my vocal cord. And my doctor never gave me Levothyroxine. After 6 months I went somewhere else and they said I was close to coma/death. And prescribed me the levo + t3 immediate. My bp was like 84/60 sometimes lower. It was horrible.
Not to mention I also already had 2 kids prior to this and I wanted another after but my husband wasn’t ready and was scared bc of my health. I feel like our stories are parallel. Thank you for sharing.

Had partial thyroid removal.. but nothing has changed due i had this for almost 5-6 years n i never noticed it. I suffer depression, anxiety, n panic attack.. but thankfully it wasn't cancer..

Hi Michelle, I got news today that my neck ultrasound found several thyroid nodules...one was scored 7 points and the other was scored at 9 points...I'm freaking out and can't stop crying. I have to go and get a biopsy done soon but can't help but to think the worse.
Hey are you doing? I just got the news that I have multinodular goiter. Have 4 big nodules. I’m so scared I just had my baby 2 weeks ago and all this is just to much for me 😭
Have you considered armour dessicated thyroid medication? It's the only thing that melts off the weight for me and my mom. If your weight isn't falling off with synthetic, its your liver that can't covert the t4 to t3 or your body simply does not recognize the synthetic t4 to convert it to the active and much needed t3. Look into liothyronine ( cytomel) for t3.

Wow they removed your whole thyroid for thyroid in one side? Had it spread to your lymph nodes?
Would you be open to recommending your endocrinologist? I’m moving to Arizona soon. Recovering from Papillary Thyroid Cancer as well.
My question is since you got your thyroid removed what is your TSH level to start your pregnancy or before conceiving?
Hey ! I don’t remember the exact number but I went to see my Endo and do blood work the week I had my IUD removed to know that I was in my own ‘normal’ or safe TSH zone. Then again when I found out I was pregnant and pretty much did blood work every 6 ish weeks throughout both the pregnancies. She had to adjust my dose of levothyroxine a few times during and after each pregnancy .

Congratulations on your beautiful baby I been following you for years and I had my total thyroidectomy 3 years ago you really help me can you tell me what to do about hair loss due to thyroidectomy and can you tell me what prescriptions did you take far as vitamins like the vitamin d because my endocrinologist haven’t put me in anything since my surgery except the levothyroxine but no vitamins after that and my hair was long and thick as yours now it’s ear length and thin I’m so sad

Can i conceive now.. june 2022 surgery and august 1st radiation again after 6 months they tested in feb 2023with minimal dose again next checkup at 2025 feb can i conceive or wait till 2025 my age is 37 already ..please guide
You needed a prescription for prenatals? And why take them if you weren’t pregnant vitamins can be toxic if you don’t need them.
Hello I just recently subscribed to your channel I'm so glad you are doing well and you have a beautiful daughter my son's girlfriend has thyroid problems I have talked to her to get her to go to the Dr but I think she thinks I'm intruding I love her very much but how do I go about actually getting her to go she said her mom has it to but also hasn't gone to the Dr please HELP thank you 💔

I had thyroid cancer also. They removed my left side November 2020, then I had my right half removed February 2021.. and then radiation in March. It’s august 2021 and they still can’t figure out my medicine dosage. How long did it take to get yours correct?

Oh no we waited because we wanted to make sure we were going to still like each other in 40/50 years. Not because of my cancer :)

Ask your doctor to give you folic acid... it helps to boost your hormones.

I was undergone total thyroidectomy becoz of thyroid cancer 8 months before and now im 2 months pregnant… Plss don’t worry god will answer all your prayers we can get pregnant normally and that is possible.. trust god everything will get normal I’m suggesting u to get follic acid tablets as prescribed by the physician and thyroxine as usual. Nobody can predict our lives. Trust god.. will live long😊
