@@Lerian_V In the year 2019 none of those things are necessary. Non-human animals deserve everything a human animal does. Life, liberty, love, family, friends and happiness. They were not created for humans.
I feel bad that I can't do activism like this. Practically and emotionally... I have Asperger's and just couldn't handle any aspect of it.
However, I recently took some vegan chocolate cupcakes to a BSL class I do, and everyone was saying how good they were, and how they'd have never guessed they were vegan. A few of my classmates asked for the recipe, and a few told me how having that cupcake opened their mind about vegan food! Someone even sent me a photo of her lunch having been inspired to try a vegan meal!!! 🌱
So much respect to all of you!!!💖
We all need to do the best we can and that will look different for each of us. I think your idea of sharing delicious vegan food is a fantastic idea! Way to go ! : )
Like Ed said, it's a multi headed beast. These guys raise attention to the cause. We also need people leading by example, spreading knowledge, exploring new foods.. 🙌👏
Going vegan for practical purposes is fine. But don't do it because of the baseless moral argument; the moral argument for veganism is flawed.
@pyxis Do what you are best suited for. Get them caring about the animals first, use all the moral facts that animals don't deserve to be hurt or killed. Then show them they don't have to give up taste! vegan burgers, cheese, icecream etc!
@@veganizeeverything2769 She could make the alternative taste or nutrition argument. The only valid moral argument is to stop unnecessary harm or killing (abuse) of these animals. They are meant for human use but not abuse. Equating non humans to humans, or projecting human attributes to non humans is utter perversion.
These videos remind me why it's important to remain active. Not everyone is willing to chain themselves up but everyone can be active in their own specific way. We can do it.

It's not just slaughterhouse, any factory that constitutes pollution is not meant for residential areas.

Not really, just because I like going to the club from time to time does not mean I want to live right next to one.
@Shane Hayden We're not spiders, birds, or lions. We're only omnivorous for the basic needs of survival. It's scientifically proven over and over again that not only can you live on a 100% plant based diet, but also more healthily. There are only a few cases where it's not possible for someone to live off of plants alone. But my significant other has lupus and a myriad of health problems that have been quarreled because of a Plant based diet even though many people have said that it's dumb. Long term benefits come from moving on from this old way of thinking, and you get to save animals the torture of having to die for no good reason.

Problem with animal rebellion is the lack of arrest solidarity. Everyone is happy to do the fun part and stand outside, but I went up for arrest support and waited for these arrestees to get out all night - where were animal rebellion activists? If you organise a protest expecting people to get arrested, be there for them for support once they get out a cell at 3am!
Thanks for documenting the events that day. I'm still humbled by all the activists willing to risk their freedom in order to create a world where animals aren't exploited, abused, and killed. Animals are meant to be killed for food, clothing, and other uses. Wanton killing of animals for the fun of it is an abuse and wrong.

@@acgraphics1139 that's a common misconception, b12 is the tablet we have to take. B12 is also supplemented to animals as it's only natural source is in soil. Because fruit and veg gets materialised ot would be pretty much impossible for us to get b12 naturally. So seeing as b12 is supplemented to is regardless, is it really worth eating meat for? Just for a second hand supplement?
Any other nutrient can be naturally found on a plant based diet.

I agree, it is heartbreaking that people kill their own children just because they don't want them. I completely agree. Many of those vegans do not. They have some kind of a weird ideology which states how you can kill something, even your own child, you own offspring, just because it is not sentient at the time. Imagine that.

I worked in a butcher as my very first job at 14, cleaning blood off the floor. It was disgusting, I quit after 3 weeks - but still kept eating meat for another 13 years.

I just had a vision watching this ! All the activists became children and then I felt myself as a child again looking in at that truck and the cow in it ....it's 4 am and it's emotional watching this ! If we were all children we would think with hearts of children and this got to me ....😭 I feel the police have guilt but like the Queen's Guards they are stones without expression ....
J .Tropicallife I had the vision that it was the equivalent of my child in the truck and thinking about what I would do to stop that happening to them! But we’re not allowed to actually stop them because it’s ‘normal’ to treat animals this way! That in itself is emotional abuse to us! Forced to accept something so wrong! It’s an abuse of our HUMAN rights to ignore ‘reason’ and overrule our HUMAN right to be able to stop something horrific from occurring! The raging emotions this situation creates are very real!

J .Tropicallife I was luckily conditioned to believe it’s wrong as I was raised this way. For me once I connect emotionally I literally can’t make that choice because I feel repulsed by the food as all I see is the flesh, but that’s what I was conditioned to think. When I see meat I see butchered animals. I’ve never seen or even understood how it’s possible to see it as food. I do however understand conditioning and know how hard it can be to change a habit. It all comes down to the fact that if you genuinely believe it’s murder and you feel strongly enough that murder is wrong, then you just won’t! If you can’t then that’s a real inner conflict and I would take any actions to balance that in any way you can as much as you can and surround yourself with people who care about it.
You have a lot of guilt you are covering up with vegan/SJW activism. You're most likely living a life of despair, that's why your emotions run wild... a sign of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts... a life gone off kilter. Know God and know peace, and you will discover your purpose in life... and your flailing emotions will be rightly ordered. You'll be at peace and you will have lasting joy, and you will care for and love animals better even.

@@Lerian_V they're USED for consumption yes. That's entirely the point. They shouldn't be. Animal agriculture is animal cruelty at it's worst. Breeding a living, feeling, sentient being into existence for the sole purpose of taking its life is UNjust.
It's also unhealthy for those consuming these animals and the environment. Animal agriculture is the number one driver of man made climate change and it's not a joke I have a kid and I care about the environment he'll have to survive in.

Each time you see these big innocent eyes the fear ... how can that be considered as a mere product or food?
Human beings treat animals as prisoners and become dishes on their own table, after which the human body becomes the graves of animals.

My mom stopped buying bacon because I kept telling her about slaughterhouses and yesterday she convinced a lady not to make a “sausage” purchase at Whole Foods.🙏🏽 I’m trying my best to inform people 😭
When the truck arrived I had the vision of how I would feel if my child was in there and what I would do to stop that from happening! But we’re not allowed to actually stop them because it’s ‘normal’ to treat animals this way! That in itself is an abuse to ‘us’ by being forced to stand by and watch while something horrific happens! It is our human right to stand between and say ‘NO!’ When somebody disrespects an important boundary either emotional or physical. Here we are not allowed to say no. We have to suffer the grief of this horror! It is an abuse of our human rights to ignore ‘reason’ and continue chopping up animals which creates emotional trauma in humans. People only disrespect boundaries when they are either unaware or have control/power issues. Either way people need help. Society is ill. Meat consumption is an illness!

Do you not believe the cries and neurotic behaviour when their offspring are taken from them is grief or mourning? Do you not believe stress levels in animals can be scientifically measured? Have you ever seen a dog chasing a huge bear away? That's courage. Ever had an animal curl up to you when it senses you are upset? Empathy. Have you watched the chicken run up to the school bus every day to greet his human friend? She doesn't have food, he does it out of love and loyalty. Do you speak the same language as your dog? Likely no. Does that mean you don't understand when they are excited or not feeling well? You probably do understand that when your dog is wagging its tail, jumping on you and kissing you it's likely excited to see you. Which is anthropomorphic... but accurate. Science will catch up one day. Veganism comes from a place of compassion, a trait you cannot learn.
Lerian V the thing is I am able to detach and carry on. I have never eaten meat and have always felt it’s wrong and have had to accept others doing this my whole life. And apart from other kids in my school years most people have understood and accepted my choice. I am able to detach and accept and allow. You have to! But I also cannot look at a piece of meat or pigs going to slaughter without’ feeling’ the whole truth of that situation. I am also able to ‘allow’ those feelings in a peaceful space. But just because I ‘can’ allow those feelings doesn’t mean I choose to ignore them and the truth they represent. Action upon truth which is very often ‘realised’ through ‘feeling something’ is necessary, but denied! That is not reasonable or logical to deny someone the right to take action upon truth!
Just because someone feels emotional doesn’t mean they cannot make a ‘rational’ choice.
