    The only hard part about being vegan is having witnessed animals bleed to death, getting ignored by friends and family and attacked for trying to defend animals from a cruel and unnecessary death.

    • @RC-qf3mp
      @RC-qf3mp Месяц назад +4

      All animals die, often brutally by being eaten by other animals, or languishing slowly from disease. You seem to be uneasy about the cycle of life. There’s nothing ‘cruel’ about a tiger eating a zebra or a lion eating a gazelle for a big fish eating a smaller fish. Humans are omnivores and at the top of the food chain. We are predators and have eyes in the front of our heads and fangs - as Darwin observed. There are better and worse ways of caring for animals for human consumption - ‘better’ in terms of nutritional value, taste and environmental impact. The best way to raise livestock is with regenerative farming that enriches the soil and lets grasses and vegetables flourish with the flourishing of the livestock. There’s no waste on such farms … everything that is ‘waste’ for one animals is nourishment for another. Even human food doesn’t go to waste - all leftovers go to pigs, who happily eat it, get fat, and become tasty food one day in turn. Local ecologies increase their biodiversity. Crops use the manure instead of having to add petrochemicals and pesticides on monocultures (which is where most vegan food comes from). It’s glorious to be human and eat such a wide variety of animals, from fish and steak to pork and chicken. We literally were born to do this, to eat this way, and to relish in our place in the world. To deny that is to deny your own humanity.

    • @Psartz
      @Psartz Месяц назад +7

      @RC-qf3mp What cycle of life are you referring to? In the wild, animals experience a balanced 50-50 chance of survival. From birth, they engage in play, grow, roam freely, and establish their families. Consider a tiger: it must make numerous attempts before securing a meal, symbolizing the innate challenges of the wild. This scenario is worlds apart from the existence of a mother pig giving birth confined to a cage on a metal floor without nest, surrounded by disease and death. Such an environment is far from natural; it's worse than a prison sentence without committing any crime. Imagine sitting in an enclosed cage for 24 hours. Her entire life is spent indoors, devoid of any daylight, ultimately leading to a gas chamber. This stark comparison highlights the profound disparities between natural and captive life.

    • @RC-qf3mp
      @RC-qf3mp Месяц назад +1

      @@Psartz there is only one ‘cycle of life’ and that’s the one I’m referring to. No, animals do NOT have 50-50 chance of survival. You just made that up. Animals have a 100% chance of dying, 0% of survival. You are very confused. Now you change the subject to HOW animals live. Yes, that varies drastically, and animals raised for human consumption should be raised in a manner that benefits the environment via sustainable practices, such as regenerative farming that enriches the soil and increases biodiversity of the surrounding area. You are referring to the horrible CAFO practices of modern industrial systems, which are horrible. But that is not the only way to raise livestock and not the best and not the preferred one. See videos on YT on Joel Salatin’s polyface farm for an example of biomimicry which improves the ecology and biodiversity, better not JUST for the livestock on his farm but ALL the animals in the surrounding area, and nutrient value of the food for humans, including vegetables, which grow best with manure and not chemical fertilizer. Strawmanning eating meat is like strawmanning veganism. There is smart veganism, and then there’s dumb veganism where people eat ultraprocessed ‘vegan’ food that comes from monocultures of GMOs sprayed with cancer-causing pesticides on ground that is treated with chemicals fertilizers that lead to runoff causing algae bloom far away in the oceans. Is that a fair description of ALL veganism? Of course not. You are very confused about basic facts of life. The world needs MORE regenerative farms and FEWER monocultures. What you are really against is humanity - and, frankly, tigers and all predators that eat other animals. If you saw a pride of lions about to eat a family of gazelles, and you could shoot the lions to save the gazelles, would you do it? Why not? Lions are murderers!! And eagles are murderers, and big fish that east smaller ones. People are animals too. We evolved to love eating meat for a reason. Nature doesn’t make mistakes. Human morality changes with the fashions of the type, but NO culture in world history was ever vegan. You’ve been brainwashed by fanatical religion. And one sign of that is the inability to recognize or resolve obvious contradiction. Reason doesn’t work against fundamentalists. You can’t make sense of your own thoughts.

      @RC-qf3mp Месяц назад

      @@Psartz I’m not a carnivore, I’m an omnivore, and so are you, if you’re homo sapien. That’s how we evolved. All animals die. If you want to talk about ‘survival rate’, you need to specify an age or duration. ‘Survival rate to live past one year’, for example. As for TikTok, i don’t have an account and don’t watch it. But since you chose to insult me rather than address any of the facts and arguments i cite above, i will assume you’re just a confused kid who jumped on the fanatical bandwagon of veganism to fit in with your friend-group. That’s fine, it explains why you can’t rationally defend your fanaticism. Sooner or later you’ll snap out of it. Just as some people have friends who all get tattoos or nose rings or novel pronouns.

      You should look up the harvard study alone of joey and his high soy diet which is harmful to men and more so to boys the younger they get due to the anti-nutrients in soy and all legumes and many vegan food options.. These anti-nutrients not only block full absorption of nutrients, protein, calcium, zinc, iron etc but also lower sperm in men as well as cause possible developmental issues with babies.. If you love your child please don't take these crazy risks. Eat what is natural and healthiest, not processed junk, high carb unhealthy and harmful vegan diets.

You understand the amount of anti-nutrients in legumes, especially soy, Lentils and many other of your foods with chemical compounds like genistein, lectins, phytates and more but more importantly is phytoestrogens which effect men sp3rm, just search "harvard study soy sp3rm loss" too see the effects and understand that it effects younger people and kids far more. It's okay in moderation but vegans rely on it while normal eaters have superfood meats that are impossible to replicate in a healthy diet with pasture raised meats.. It's scientifically impossible.

Especially when you consider the scale of the problem, the neglectedness of the animals who are subject to hellish factory farms, and how easily consumer choice can mitigate this issue. What enlightening argument/position might one be exposed to if they've lived a longer life?

      @@ASOT666 Longer life gives wisdom and also your argument for excluding sentient species from your palate is entirely hypocritical. Just to let you know, shouldn't all living beings have the right to live. That means not just animals but insects, pests, microorganisms like bacteria, and even crops. I am not judging you when you murder all the baby saplings and grind the seeds to make flour. Shouldn't plants also get the same rights as animals?
      But you judge us for eating meat from an entirely different species and validating with a hypocritical argument that all sentient life has the right to live. I ask you, who made you the king to discriminate against who gets to live.
      So my advice is, just live your vegan lifestyle, don't be a narcissist, and don't consider yourself a being of high morals. You are exactly the same as me, eating other living beings to grow. We are not photosynthetic so get over it.
