Hi Sir, could you please explain the difference between 1.Creating a VM override for DRS and creating a VM/Host rule as "VM should stay on the same Host" . 2.what If the host goes down for the VM enabled for the VM override created for the DRS ", does the VM restarted on the other node by HA ?
VM override you can either control DRS and HA.. if you don't want the VM to be vMotioned by DRS..you can set manual for DRS..leave HA settings as per cluster ...in that case, if host goes down, vm will be restarted by HA
