Very simple explanation with a demo - At certain cases we can call host here as vHost ratherthan calling ESXi , when it provides services, then probably a different name like server required. An important thing here to understand how a common hardware is referred as vCenter server and ESXi host.
Best explanations, awesome technical videos on VMWARE, keep making more and upload all kinds of technical concepts and technical troubleshooting scenarios for VMWARE VSPHERE, ESXI, NSX and everything related to VMWARE
Thank you so so much I can't explain how happy after watching this video i have seen many videos on this topic but no one explain as clearly as you explained here the way you explained it in simple terms really make me understand very well thanks a lot❤. I'm subscribing your channel now
That's really good. What is the good practice for the Data Centre? Where should Install my DC1, DC2, File Server? I am not sure if I should install it on real physical or VM. Kindly demonstrate
Thank you for your comment. I think, VMware's licensing model for ESXi is based on the number of physical processors (CPUs) in the host. However, it's always good to check with them about licensing.

I think, this all depends on policy decision of the organization where you are working.
Can you advise?@@GDNetworkingNewbie
So a server that has dual CPUs, it needs two licenses of ESXi? Does that mean using 2 free versions wont work on a dual CPU server?
