    Very informative. Most of the IT guys stick to traditional vm migration from GUI. Now they will try other ways after watching this vedio.

    why my dcli (vmware 6.5) don't have relocate options ? unknown command..

    Thank you for sharing. I just wonder if the vcenter server shutdown, can we use this 3 ways to vMotion VMs? I think only the Flings can do this, dcli and powercli will not work.

      If vcenter is down, we can't vmotion vms even via fling aswell...none of the methods work. Vmotion is the feature of vcenter..

    Can we use any of these options for vMotion from disconnected hosts to a host?

      Thanks Chandra for watching the video..... unfortunately we can't vmotion the vms from disconnected host...
      If you have the shared datastote between the disconnect host and other host....and virtual machines are stored in shared datastote... You can power off the vm and re-register in the other host to move the vms to new host.
