Having gone to both, I feel that single-sex school students are closer, share more personal experiences whereas in mixed schools, girls and boys don't really mix too (or maybe its just me)
I like how they are really open about sensitive topic and that creates good content

I was from bukit panjang primary as well !!
i was from a mixed neighbourhood primary school and my mom wanted me to go IJ bcos my family is catholic, its like a norm to go to a christian school. But i strongly didnt want it, bcos i like the culture in mixed school wayyy more. Theres wayyyyy lesser drama (like fake ppl, betrayers, bitchy ppl etc etc)
even the tchers in mixed sch is less 'bitchy/annoying' too tbh
hence, in mixed sch everyone get along with each other well and friendship problem wasnt a thing
also, mixed sch is wayyy more fun as leah said cos theres guys and stuff, they wld usually do rly stupid things in class which creates entertainment and birghten up my mood when i go to sch everyday. (there are class joker too etc)
tbh till tdy after 5 years, i would still strongly prefer a mixed sch more than a single-sex sch :)
tbh thats just another stereotype , bc when i went from a mixed school to a single sex school , and in a single sex school , we tend to understand each other more and thr is ALOT less drama as compared to a mixed school with all the drama and "crushes". The teachers in single sex are mostly the same sex as u so they could all relate better . I mean its your opinion but i prefer single sex over mixed schools :)

About 3/4 of my cohort are guys, and it is quite fun actually. When I listen to my other friends say how the girls in their school bitch about I'm actually quite relieved that I'm in a mixed school.
