This land/water scape is gloriously abstract and beautiful. I really love the paint mixes you use as you are painting. Also when you sort of paint something you don't like, watching how you fix it is amazing. I didn't realize that nearly every aspect of the painting can be changed if you want to. The grasses, sea spray, gorgeous cliffs, this reminds me of the cliffs near York or the ones in Northern England and Scotland. It's all just so beautiful. XOXOJane

I realized that in the art school the teachers never showed us by their example how and what to do. In fact, we were simply given verbal tasks and shown ready-made examples of what the final result of the work should be. It was a lazy teaching technique that didn't work for me.
